A charming, comfortable and well-appointed property in the heart the Lincoln Square area. Easy access to local restaurants and shops as well as the Brown line to downtown.
Everything about the property was excellent. The owner was highly responsive and easy to work with.
We highly recommend this property and would rent it again.

The check in process very straightforward and easy. The home is immaculate with every accommodation needed for a comfortable stay. You can hear the train however it we found it charming and the sound did not disrupt our sleep or experience.

Apartment is very clean and comfortable, equipped with everything that we need. Check in was super easy. Great communication from owner, responses were always instant. Many restaurants, coffee shops nearby. Game room downstairs was a plus!

This spot in Lincoln Square was perfect for a city break visit to Chicago for my family of 4. Everything in the home was consistent with the listing, and I appreciated the owner checking in to ensure we were taken care of. My kiddos loved playing with the air hockey and foosball tables. There's no shortage of good food options nearby and can't get much more convenient for access to the Brown line. The owner had plenty of parking passes for street parking in front of the home. We all found the train noises to be good background noise, and we also sleep with sound machines which helps too. Would definitely recommend the home to others and would stay again when looking for a spot in Lincoln Sq/ nearby neighborhoods.

The house had a funky smell and you could tell it had been smoked in at one point. There were millipede bugs in the bathroom, some dead some alive. There were upstairs neighbors that walked around at all hours of the night and the train was literally in the backyard, so there was a lot of train noise. The listing showed a garage with a Tesla charger which was a huge selling point since we were traveling. We had to move a bunch of stuff in the garage to even find it and the car had to be parked at an angle to even fit. Not what we expected and way overpriced for what we got.

We had a wonderful long weekend in the apartment. It was clean and well-appointed. As was mentioned by others, the train is a factor—it passes (frequently) very close to the house, but unless you are a very light sleeper, it quickly becomes a sound you adjust to and stop noticing. The hosts did reach out to offer assistance, but we were fine with what had been an easy check-in and a straight-forward settling in. Perhaps the only thing which could be helpful would be to provide guests with a guide to the restaurants in the area. But all in all, our stay was totally enjoyable on a lovely Fall weekend. Thank you.

We enjoyed our five day stay at this apartment! It was clean and spacious for our family of five. We enjoyed the foosball and air hockey table in the basement too! It is walking distance to many shops, restaurants and the train. We would definitely stay here again!!! The host answered questions in a timely manner. Check in and check out was very simple.

We travel to Chicago a couple of times a year to visit family. We always look for units in the Andersonville/Lincoln Square area. This was the first time we stayed at this unit and we all loved it. The location is wonderful for walking to cafes and restaurants. The subway noise that was mentioned in other reviews was not bothersome at all (really!). The 3 bedrooms and 2 baths were great for our family of 4. Hope we can come back on an upcoming visit to Chicago!

The location of this property can't be better. You're footsteps away from shops, restaurants, transportation...the list goes on and on. Inside the property is clean and comfortable and doesn't leave anything to be desired. Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone coming to Chicago and looking to stay in Lincoln Square.

Nice little place
We wanted something that wasn't a hotel that we could each have our own bedroom, and this was great. I will say, parking during the weekend was quite difficult (but I am sure it is in any big city) but that was a hassle when we first arrived. While the train wasn't horrible it was still noticeable (especially if you are not used to that much noise).
There are shops within walking distance but nothing that is very "store" like (for overall shopping) but we only went down the first couple blocks.
Overall, host was helpful and answered questions in a timely manner. Nice neighborhood and something different if you want separate rooms versus a standard hotel room. I will say, they do provide a lot more than most places (coffee, soaps/shampoos, sugar/flour) which was a pleasant surprise.
**Please review their cancellation policy carefully because they do NOT give exceptions so be aware when booking.

The location of this property was perfect for our needs. My son who lives in Chicago was .7 miles away so it was walkable. My husband had a business meeting in Chicago so having the train right there was so convenient. The unit was nicely decorated, felt right at home immediately. Couple of minor things like toilet that kept running and slow drain in one of the bathroom sinks. I thought the train noise would be annoying but after the first night, we hardly noticed. Great hosts, great place.

Worked for us
We enjoyed this location for a quick visit meeting family from another state. At first forgot about others commenting about the train, had a quick laugh about it and then we got used to it and wasn't an issue. Enjoyed using the air hockey, Foosball table and fireplace! Close location to lots of shops, restaurants, etc. Had fun, would recommend staying here!

This was the perfect place for our family to stay for a long weekend. We came for a Cubs game, but also visited the Art Institute, Millenial Park, and the Riverwalk. All were easily accessible by train. The apartment was charming, comfortable and well appointed, and Almir checked on us during our stay and was very responsive to questions. Would definitely stay here again if we get a chance to return! Lincoln Square is a lovely area itself and we didn't really get a chance to explore. Highly recommend!

Great experience
Stayed for three nights with two friends on a pleasure trip to play golf and see Chicago. The apartment was clean, convenient, and spacious for our needs. The neighborhood was a real bonus with many good restaurants and shops in the area. You can walk to everything including a train station nearby. The train runs behind the house and there was some noise occasionally which we got used to quickly. Really everything about the experience was excellent. The neighbors were friendly and our host checked in a few times to make sure all was well.

The location is perfect, especially for those looking to be close to city action but with a degree of quiet and convenience, it is just steps from Lincoln square and the Western brown line stop.
The layout and amenities were perfect for our family— the kids had fun playing foosball and air hockey and we stayed sane having our own space to cook, relax and sleep.
The owners live upstairs and were very responsive to our questions but never intrusive.
Great place, all around.

The property is nestled in a cozy street near cute little shops, eateries and the Brown line. Check in was easy and our host was accommodating as our flight arrived early and we asked to check in an hour early. We were welcomed by a couple of nesting pigeons on the porch that had a fuzzy baby. They were fun to watch during the week as we came and went!
The place is adorable! The ad mentioned there could be noise from the Brown line. There was a hum but nothing that bothered us in the least.
The floor was a bit noisy though. Since I am an early riser, walking through the house early in the morning was cringe-worthy since I didn't want to wake my family.
We noticed some plumbing issues with the toilets shortly after we arrived there that our host quickly attended to (both times). I am not sure the plumber fixed the issue exactly since there was a little water on the lower level bathroom floor each morning.
My family and I loved the location and the place itself. Our host, Almir, was attentive when we had issues (although I think he needs a better plumber!)
We would stay there if we are in the area again.

Not only was the location fantastic but the owners provided such a warm and welcoming experience . Clean and comfortable
Impressively clean unit. Beds were very comfortable. Since we were busy visiting family in the area, we made little use of the kitchen but it is adequately supplied for family meal preparation. Also did not get a chance to walk around the Lincoln Square area but the close proximity of restaurants and shops in this area is a plus. Pack n play and coloring materials were a big help having a 2 year old with us. Nearby L-train creates rumble but the noise, while noticeable, did not bother us. Overall, this was a charming, clean and comfortable place we would choose again.

Fabulous!
Fabulous stay! Everything about our stay was wonderful. The apartment is lovely, very clean, with lots of space. The well- appointed kitchen has everything you need to make meals and host friends and family. It truly felt like a home away from home! The location is perfect, and the little touches are much appreciated! Family-friendly, with plenty of space. The fun games in the basement were a big hit with the teens too.
Communication was great and check in was a breeze. Highly recommend and would stay there again in a second! Thanks!!
