the cottage was fine in pretty well every respect, but, given that we only could spend 11 nights of the 28 booked and paid for due to the corona virus outbreak, we are very unhappy at the response from Sykes Cottages re some reasonable and fair arrangement over our required early departure, beyond our control… we understood that the great majority of clients of VRBO were understanding of the difficult circumstances customers could find themselves in… we had suggested that perhaps a third or even a quarter of what we had paid might be reasonably be refunded, but we have received nothing but a blank refusal to consider this… anything you could do would be appreciated...

This lovely cottage provides a perfect location for a perfect holiday. It provided all home comforts needed for a stress free break. The location was ideal too. Just a 2 min walk to the harbour side, shops, beach, Nothe gardens and Nothe Fort. Could not fault this perfect holiday base.
