Worked for us.

Bed EXTREMELY comfortable. Had a wonderful stay. Only snafus were no bbq grill; knee-high grass prevented use of fire pit. Otherwise very convenient, extremely comfortable. Me, my adult son & my teenage grandson has a wonderful week.

Perfect for two friends.

As always, owners very responsive to messages before and during our stay. The hot tub was not working, and I did not read the details after booking so we were unaware of that before arrival. Cabin is very clean. Beds comfortable. Kitchen stocked with everything you need to prepare meals. There was no grill but we set our camping grill up by the fire pit and grilled there. We were pleasantly surprised fo have WiFi and a roku this trip, and a new grocery store just down the road a few minutes. Easy check out instructions. As always, much quieter and peaceful location to stay than busy West Yellowstone. Beautiful drive to the park and a comfortable, no frills place to stay to just relax after a long day.

The cabin was clean and very comfortable. The beds were especially comfortable. It was in a good location very close to the main highway to Yellowstone. There is plenty to see and do in the area without having to travel too far away from the cabin. Great great location. My friend and I were there for 10 days and I can't think of anything to complain about.

Our stay in the island park cabin was overall a very enjoyable experience. An easy commute into Yellowstone park for a more affordable price than closer locations. Only a few issues: no bbq on property as listed in photos, previous guest had left behind a sewing needle on kitchen floor, and check out time was slightly unclear and cleaner arrived earlier than given check out time.

Stayed with my son for a week of snowmobiling and the cabin was perfect for our needs. Didn’t have any issues, but owners were very responsive to a few minor questions. Exactly as advertised, not a high end luxury suite, but is very clean, comfortable, priced right, and the location was perfect. Beds were very comfortable! Plenty of room to park crew cab pickup and 20’ enclosed trailer in the driveway. Probably could fit another pickup or 2 in the driveway space if needed. Easy access to the trail system right from the cabin. Gas station is a block away and little grocery store a few blocks farther down the trail/road. Had no problem making our meals in the kitchen, but there’s a couple restaurants close by if you’d rather dine out. Cabin is tucked into a somewhat industrial area which was nice because it was plowed out very well, not busy, and very quiet. WiFi and smart tvs for movies and catching up with work/school in the evenings. Easy 30 minute drive to West Yellowstone if you need some “city life”, but we enjoyed the quieter, more isolated atmosphere of Island Park. Highly recommend doing a snowmobile tour of Yellowstone if you’re looking for a relaxing day of easy trail riding and unbelievable scenery. We went with 2 Top rentals, but there are several companies that offer tours. 100% worth every penny to see the park from the seat of a snowmobile with so few people there! Awesome little cabin in a great location. 100% would stay here again.

Got in from a 19 hr drive spent 20 minutes shoveling a path to door. Spent another 15 minutes cleaning snow from hottub lid to find it empty. Main heater controls didnt work it was full blast or pilot light, cabin was either 50 or 85 degrees (got to use the swim trunks packed for the hot tub) no wifi network showed up. Bedroom heaters were wierd but did work ok. Everything else was as expected. We’ll probably stay at the pines next time considering its pretty much the same price with all the fees

We had such a fun escape as a little family. We spent time in Yellowstone adventuring and then enjoying soaking in the hot tub in the evenings. Perfect base for fun! Kitchen was just what we needed and beds were comfortable. We didn't want to leave.

Hard to find, no street sign without a GPS would be impossible to find.
4.1
As the title suggests it was so hard to find in the dark because there are no near street lights. There is no street sign and you just pull into a gravel parking lot that looks like its all power plant and warehouse but just next to the shed behind the warehouse is this Vrbo. My dad and husband got out of the car to check it out and before I could even get the code to the key box on my phone they had walked inside- it was UNLOCKED. This was terrifying as the owner had not communicated that this would be the case and my mom proceeded to call this the murder cabin but we did all survive. The only positive to the location is that its only 30 minutes to the West Yellowstone entrance. As for the inside of the cabin it was clean but the dryer required multiple cycles to get anything dry so the towels smell a bit musty. The instructions to the fire place were by the remote on the wall but the remote does not work. My dad found the panel at the bottom of the unit to turn on the heat and it works. That said the first bedroom before the bathroom does not have a working thermostat. The back bedroom does but the going through the bathroom to get to the bedroom is odd and there is a door to the outside from the back bedroom that does not have a deadbolt lock just a door handle lock. The bathroom door to the back bedroom was falling off the top hinge. Shower is super small. Wifi is not as listed on the fridge and no dishwasher. Survived but did not love it.

the cabin was clean and close to the park. had an odd layout but was comfy. the beds were comfortable and that was all we really needed.

Perfect location for visiting Yellowstone. Cabin was spotless and had everything you may need. Absolutely quiet and private. Highly recommend!

Great location and comfortable stay. Communication with host was excellent.

Nice place
4.1
The cabin was fine, everything you need is there; i.e. linens, towels, hairdryer, washer/dryer. It was adequately stocked with kitchen utensils, etc. Comfortable furniture but somewhat dated. If I had one complaint it would be the location surroundings; which of course, cannot be changed. Not a pretty view from any window. Also, this was my 20th visit to Yellowstone and cabins. I have never had to strip beds, wash towels, take out trash and refill with baskets with liners. Very inconvenient when you get back late night before checkout and you have wash to do; especially when you want to shower in the morning. Probably would not stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Moose’s Caboose! The cabin was the perfect size for our party of 3. It was clean and had everything we could need. The area itself wasn’t the most appealing because it’s surrounded by industrial type buildings but the cabin itself was great. We had issues with internet not working and the hosts immediately responded and tried to remedy the problem. We would definitely rent again.
4.1
We really liked the place. It had everything we needed to get by and was only 25 minutes from West Yellowstone. We also enjoyed the hot tub each night! We would definitely stay there again if we return to the area.

The nights were very quiet. The beds were very comfortable. Had a lot of extra items in cupboards we took and didn't need to. Had a sitting area outside with firepit, we didn't start fire but ate around the firepit was super quiet and shaded. Yes, it was in an industrial area, but no one was ever there. It had a window air conditioner that didn't keep the house very cool, but we came home, and opened windows and doors and it was nice. I would stay there again.

Super quiet and conveniently located to everything.

We had a wonderful time at this little cabin. It is WELL stocked with practically everything you need, we didn't need to bring half the things we did. The area was quiet, surrounded by a couple of business/storage barns- but nothing unsightly and provided a very quiet spot as a result.
The beds are very comfortable. And the hosts were beyond helpful and quick to respond to any questions we might have had.
I never thought I'd visit anywhere more beautiful than the mountains of Colorado where we live- but this Idaho/Montana area has us beat by miles! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!!
4.1
Overall a good place to stay. Only wish it was closer to the Yellowstone entrance and had some walking path around the cabin.
4.1
The cabin itself was fine for the price. The location was less than desirable. The cabin was set back in an industrial area. The neighbors yard was a disaster. The landscaping was not kept up. I would not rent again.

Thanks John. Your cabin was cozy and convenient for our stay. Compared to past reviews it seems like you’ve made upgrades in wifi and tv access, which people should know!! Thanks for hosting.

Cabin was comfortable. Mixup with cleaning person but ownners took care of it quickly. I would recommend.

John and Teresa are the truly the best. We have stayed here before, and will stay again in the future. I’m not sure how many people we have recommended this place to since 2021. It is definitely not fancy, and if you’re looking for that, look for a high cost resort. If you are looking for an affordable, clean, comfortable, RELAXING, and quiet quiet place to stay, this is where you want to be. A place with amazing hosts. And a beautiful drive to West Entrance Yellowstone.

The cabin was a great location to access Yellowstone and Grand Tetons, but location in Island was not so great as it was next door to utility company (of course that did mean no noise after 5 pm )

Cabin was very well kept and cozy. Highly recommend and look forward to booking again!

Great experience for our family, will definitely be booking this place again!

My family had a great time. Very reasonably priced. Simple online process. Only a short drive from Yellowstone. Far superior to staying in a hotel. Highly recommend. Thank you.

The property was exactly as described and was perfect for what we needed it for.

Perfect place, quick drive to the park. Accommodations were exactly as described.

The cabin was cute but not the setting we expected from photos at all. There was no wifi or TV service and the owner only informed us that wifi was recently installed, but never gave us the password after contacting them to ask for it. The kitchen was lacking in supplies and dishes and glassware was all plastic and needed to wash before using. The night sky Was beautiful!

Cabin was clean and in great shape. It is kind of in a strange industrial location but it did make it very private. If you are looking for a great affordable cabin as a home base for adventures it is perfect. If you plan to spend the day at a cabin looking at the views it may not be the place.

We came to float Big Springs and enjoy the Yellowstone Playhouse as a last hoorah before school begins. It was cozy for us and the hot tub was relaxing after a long day of play. It was just what we needed.

The little cabin was purfect - for our needs - plenty of room - a convenient location -

The house was located in a rather odd place, however it wasn't hard to find. It was a comfortable house for the 3 of us, and a good jumping off point for both Yellowstone and Grand Teton. The house was clean, and the beds were comfortable. We had no problems whatsoever, and check in/out was super simple.

This cabin was a reasonable price with a short drive to Yellowstone park. Lots of included extras, such as a hot tub and a fire pit, make it a fun place to stay. Kitchen included condiments, coffee filters, etc. They had board games and other little things to make our stay special. Host was easy to contact. The location was quiet, but a bit hard to find. It is tucked in right behind an industrial property, not visible from the road, and you have to drive through the industrial gravel parking lot. Once we found it though, no problems. Overall a tremendous value for a 2 bedroom cabin within 30 min of Yellowstone west entrance, and a good place to stay for a small family.
