Conveniently located in the Iron Horse North building in the heart of the Village at Northstar, this beautiful, luxury two bedroom residence has an inviting open floor plan. The residence features a gourmet kitchen, stainless steel appliances including Thermador range, granite counter tops, in-tub spa, and an outdoor balcony overlooking the lower village. The raised ceilings and tall windows make this condo feel spacious and bright. The master bedroom is a king suite with two closets and a double vanity bathroom. The second bedroom features two twin beds plus one twin trundle. In addition, the living room has a sleeper sofa. Enjoy a cool Tahoe evening on the balcony off of the main living area, or snuggle up to the cozy fireplace.
Shared outdoor hot tubs and fitness center are located on the ground level of the Iron Horse South Lodge. Guests may also enjoy use of the Village Swim and Fitness Center, which includes a year-round saline pool, hot tub, large fitness facility, locker rooms with steam showers, and a game and lounge area. This residence includes one underground parking space in the heated parking garage with elevator access. Spacious and clean. The rooms are large and you have ample privacy. Check-in can get a bit tricky, as the check-in office is hidden from view when parking. Friendly staff.

The place was in such a nice location, right near the village center and a 3 minute walk to the pool. The fitness center was also a short 2 minute walk. Very happy with the place and the communication with the property manager prior to the stay who a answered all questions.

We thoroughly enjoyed Iron Horse North. The property is located conveniently in the village, with easy access to lifts, spa, gym, restaurants, and shops. The property includes parking so our car was safe the whole time. The ski locker was super convenient. And, the layout of the property was very nice. Every room had a TV, the living room was cozy, the bathrooms were spacious, the spa tub was great for bubble baths at the end of the ski day, the kitchen was well stocked, and the balcony was a nice place for morning coffee. We would love to stay again. And, recommend to others looking for a convenient and luxurious place to stay.

85th birthday celebration
Had a great time. Weather was perfect. Ate our meals outdoors. Plenty of tables and space. Hiked, bocce ball, mtn bike rides for some. Perfect family gathering using 2-2 bedrm condos and 2 downtown Truckee hotel rooms, Northstar was sold out .

Very Comfortable!
Enjoyed the unit! Clean, comfortable, quiet. Large windows with lots of light! Easy check in. Property manager provided quick responses to my questions. A home away from home! Kitchen well stocked with dishes, pans and utensils. Thanks for the wine and the coffee! Up to date appliances. Washer and dryer was great to have after a day on the lake. Would stay here again! We slept good! Comfortable beds! We are country folk so we sleep with only the moonlight. A suggestion for this unit would be bedroom curtains to cover the beautiful wood blinds at night, as the resort is lit all night with string lights and low accent lighting.

Wonderful location, very well equipped. Great information about restaurants, kayak renting , boats, etc..We felt very safe in the middle of the Covid pandemic, the condo was very clean, they left hand sanitizer, mask and glove for us. We are looking forward to spend some more time here!

great management company; convenient and clean unit in Northstar Village
This unit is located right in Northstar Village. It is closer to the shuttle stop side of the Village so not as close to the gondola as some of the other buildings, but it is very close to a lot of stores. Our favorite part about the location was that it was a few steps away from Copper Lane which is the little grocery and food store we frequent when staying in the Village, rather than driving to Truckee. You are also on the side of the Village that is close to the rec center with pool, and being near the shuttle stop means it’s easier to grab a cart to get your group’s equipment over to the gondola at the start of a ski day.
Within the Iron Horse North building, this unit is also extremely close to the ski lockers, elevator and building entrance. Despite its location, we heard virtually no noise from other residents and guests in the building (although admittedly we were not there at a peak time).
The rental company that manages the rentals is very responsive, friendly and professional, and the unit was clean and well maintained. We would definitely consider staying in this unit again, and would definitely look at other properties managed by the same company next time we are heading to Tahoe.

Unit 105 was very clean and comfortable for our family of 6. We enjoyed many activities in the Village, as well as hikes, golfing and bike riding in the area. There are also great dining options in Truckee!

we had the BEST stay in this condo! the condo was SO well kept - everything was in pristine condition. the kitchen was amainzg - it's better stocked than my kitchen at home. there's a grocery store next door and a washer dryer in the unit. what could be better? two major thumbs up! also lauren at exclusive resorts was super easy to communicate w/.

This is our second stay at Northstar, both times with a large group - 25 or so the first time, then 16 during the trip this year. Suffice it to say that we would not have returned had the experience the first time not been a good one. The condos are comfortable, appropriately appointed. The location is good for access to both the lake, Truckee, Tahoe City and an excursion to Heavenly. A few notes we thought about during our trip - 1) Guests need to be reminded to keep their dogs leashed, especially on the walkways through the village. One cousin has a fear of all dogs, and this made her uncomfortable. It doesn't matter that they owner says, "Oh, he's gentle." We had to steer her clear of three dogs. 2) Towels - you know that people are taking the spa/pool towels to the lake. We know that you must lose a number of towels each summer season. We all decided that we'd be happy to get the striped towels (perhaps red, not a pool/spa color) at check-in, and if they're not returned, then the guest is charged. As return guests, we all thought that would be fair. 3) Suggest that the yoga folks do more Yoga/Sip classes. That was fun! And a note...the agents in the office (onsite at Northstar) were very accommodating with requests - ours and those guests we saw them assisting.

The property was in excellent condition. The condo was comfortable and exactly what I had hoped. The view was not the greatest (looked directly into other condos. The 4pm check-in time and the 10am check-out time is probably warranted during the ski season, but was a little too much for the summer.

From the moment I first booked Iron Horse North until check out time everything was excellent. Management was ready to assist with any questions I had before the trip. The condo was exactly how it was advertised. Everything top of the line, clean and very convenient. We walked out the door straight into the village. Perfect for our family. We enjoyed everything about the stay; we were pleasantly surprised how convenient check in / out was, when we arrived in the Condo they has a bottle of Cab and very nice coffee awaiting us. Everything was perfect! We felt like we were home and the beds were extremely comfortable too. We would definitely recommend the Condo to our friends and family. The property was an excellent fit for our group. The Condo was in a very convenient location in the village at North Star. The room was right by the elevator, locker for ski's, boards, walking distance to the Gondola, great restaurants, ice skating, and live music. So much fun!! and so much more. The owner Pam was very nice and professional she responded to my e-mail very promptly. We had a wonderful experience with the Property manager "Lauren"; she was always there when I would e-mail, voicemail and answer all my questions. Lauren always responded to my calls making sure our stay was everything we were looking for.
