The house was beautiful and the neighborhood was great for morning and evening walks.

Clean home, nice neighborhood. The only reason I gave 4 stars is the backyard. Our dog struggled on the hillside/slope that is the backyard. She got many pokes and scrapes from the overgrowth on the hill. Owner did say they are getting the backyard landscaped soon. Would not return with our dog.

Property manger was very easy to communicate with and very responsive!!

Wondeful house and location. Very comfortable and within walking distance to downtown

Exactly what we were looking for! This was close to Purgatory ski resort (30 min), and it was also central enough in town that we could walk to some breweries and restaurants. Our dogs liked walking down to the river. The kitchen was incredibly well-stocked with supplies, and the home was cozy and welcoming. We hope to be back!

Very nice stay. The house has a well stocked kitchen, mini splits for staying comfortable, and comfy beds. Close to downtown while off the main road means quiet mornings on the porch.

Enjoyed the location of this property right in Durango. Easy access to town and local attractions. Could use updating.

Was disappointed that when we got to the property at 5:30PM there were 2 grown men in the house working on air-conditioning. I would have preferred we were told they would be there given I had 2 teenage daughters with me. There were a lot of bugs in the house. Lastly, the air conditioner was dripping into a pan and my wife couldn't sleep so she had to go downstairs and sleep on the couch while we were staying here. We would not come back.

The Garden Home was clean and neat. Everything we needed was there. The neighborhood was quiet and enjoyable for walks. The location was close to everything. Overall, a great experience!

Perfect home for two couple with bathrooms for each bedroom and plenty of indoor and outdoor living space on the main level. Great location in Durango easily walkable to downtown over a gorgeous swinging bridge. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

This is a cute home on a quiet back street In Durango. It was prettier than we imagined (pictures are accurate) and having access to the garage was wonderful for our bikes.

Everything was as described...lots of personal touches and conveniences. Highly recommend!!

House nicely furnished lovely quiet neighborhood well supplied with basic needs, laundry detergent ,shower soap, etc. Steep stairs inside and in back yard made it hard for our older dogs to get around, but fine for us humans!

Our family of 4 stayed in the Garden Home for a few weeks. It was clean, comfortable and cozy. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. The house is located very conveniently for reaching mountain bike trails (test track or Star Wars), the public library, recreation center, skateboard park, neighborhood elementary school with a great playground, the river trail, and less than a mile from downtown (main street). The house is well equipped with everything you will need. Highly recommend for families!

Our stay in this property was very comfortable. The house is very nice. Just about every detail to make our stay good was taken care of. The kitchen is very well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, as well as some food items, like coffee, sugar, herbs and spices, cooking oil, etc. etc. in the pantry. The beds and furniture are comfortable. The clothes washer and drier are new and convenient. The Wifi was easy to use and the speed was moderate. The TV, BlueRay player, and satellite system were pretty good.
We really enjoyed sitting in the chairs on the front porch with friends and our dogs throughout the day. The neighborhood nice because it is older with mature trees and houses. It is pleasant and fairly quiet. We enjoyed taking morning and evening walks down to the river, main street with the restaurant and shops, the grocery store, and the off-leash dog park everyday. All are pretty close by. The paved walking path along the river is especially nice for an outing.
The backyard is unique because the house is built on the side of a big hill. The yard is divided into a lower patio, then up a flight of stairs to the level of the second floor of the house is a second patio, then there is a steep hill with steps going up to the top of the lot where you can see out over the house and the neighborhood. This worked out OK for our dogs to go out to do their business, but it isn't a typical flat backyard where people and dogs and run and play. If you wonder if it will work for your needs I would recommend asking the owner for a picture of the yard since one isn't provided on the website.
My only recommendation for the owner is to keep up with mowing the lawn, trimming the trees and bushes. It was a little overgrown when we arrived and gave a bad first impression. The lawn crew did mow and trim some bushes about half way through our stay.
Overall we enjoy the house and the neighborhood and we would return.

There were 4 adults staying at the house and we had a great time. It was a great base of operations for day trips out of town and shopping/restaurants downtown. The house doesn't have central air, but the weather was mild enough in early June to sleep with the windows open in the guest bedroom. The house is fully equipped if you want to prepare meals versus eating out. The neighborhood is very convenient to everything.

We had a perfect vacation here, very clean overall. Plenty of room for our small group. Explore the backyard if the weather permits! 😀

The home was very comfortable and we really appreciated the pack and play. Thank you! The heated floors were great and even though we were within walking distance of downtown, nature was often to be seen at our front door. We saw both a deer and a bear on the property. The garden is delightful and it was truly a home away from home.

Excellent location, great neighborhood! We would definitely stay there again!

The house was in a perfect location. We could easily walk to downtown or walk along the river. The house fit the six of quite nicely. We want to go back in the summer and use the house again next Christmas. Wonderful. Wonderful. Wonderful.
