About this house rental
Full renovation is completed in 2023.
Welcome to an amazing home on Navarre Beach! Cloud Nine is positioned on the very west end of Navarre Beach right near the National Seashore . This house boasts some of the most stunning views on the entire Island. It has two large wrap around decks that make you feel like you're in the clouds. The home was named "Cloud Nine" because it is nothing less than a heavenly paradise!
Cloud Nine has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, but don't let that deceive you. It is spaced perfectly to sleep a large group comfortably. The rooms are big and the bed layouts are planned with big families and groups in mind.
The first floor of the home has a large two car garage with extra space for beach chairs, toys and umbrellas. This floor also has a large entry hall where the elevator is located. The outside shower is located just off the entry so removing sand from the beach is easy!
The second level of the home is where the views begin. The fact that the house is positioned so well provides each room with views of the gulf or the Santa Rosa Sound. This floor is also the main sleeping quarters with three of the four bedrooms located on this level. This second level also has three bathrooms and a laundry room.
The master bedroom is very spacious with a king sized bed, a walk in closet, and a large flat screen. This room also provides a cozy seating area with a sleeper sofa and a side chair. The best feature of this bedroom is the incredible views of the gulf as well as the large private deck off of the room. The master bath is also spacious with a huge soaking tub and a separate shower.
The second floor also has a bedroom that is the equivalent of a second master. It has a king size bed, a large flat screen, a walk in closet, and an attached bathroom. This room has amazing views of the sound and the north side of the beach.
The third bedroom on the second floor is a designated bunk room and is perfect for kids or teens! This room was newly designed to provide extra sleeping to help accommodate large groups. It has four custom built queen bunk beds which sleeps 8 comfortably. It also has a large flat screen TV and a good sized closet. A separate bathroom for this room is located directly across the hall.
The top floor of this house is the "Crown Jewel”! It would be hard to find a home that could compete with the views this home provides. Cloud Nine was designed to take full advantage of the panoramic scenes from this third level. After all, this is the space used most in the home! So, if you are cooking in the kitchen, watching TV in the living room, or eating in the dining area the views are breathtaking. This grand room is an open concept design so that traffic flows from the eating and living areas with ease.
In the living room you will find a tremendous sized sectional that allows seating for over 10 people and also holds a queen sized sleeper. The large flat screen is HD and is on the same grand sized scale. This large great room room also has two exterior doors that lead to the wrap around deck. It is the perfect place to cook out on the gas grill or just enjoy a glass of wine!
The kitchen comes fully equipped with everything you need to entertain and feed your large group . It has a center island that provides extra seating for three. The dining table is a perfect scale for the room and will seat 10.The design concept of this house was inspired by the beach. This custom built home has a cottage feel with its natural wood floors, white walls, and bead board molding.
The living room has cathedral ceilings and extensive windows that are nothing short of amazing. Cloud nine has an easy beach and pool access!
The gulf is just right across the street where you will find wide open sand and water for miles. The pool is steps from the house and is just off the front driveway. It is a community pool so close it is like having your own pool!
The location of this home is perfect because it is in a low traffic area at the end of the island,.You can enjoy the family oriented style of Navarre Beach while being located as close as possible to Pensacola Beach which offers dozens of amazing restaurants and shops. This means you have the best of both worlds!

We had a great stay at Navarre Beach! Loved the location and the house was spacious enough for 12

We loved our time in Navarre! The house was absolutely wonderful. We had 12 people total and there was plenty of room for everyone. The location of the house made it really easy to get to the beach and the pool. The cul-de-sac was great for the kids to ride bikes and scooters. The community pool is right across from the house. The beds were comfortable. The property manager was easy to get in touch with if you needed them. We would definitely stay again!

Railing was for the 3rd and 2nd floor was really bad, a small child could fall thru easily, very loose. The pics do not reflect the property at all, not complaining but maybe to some one who cares about that more might. The biggest thing was the railing for us, we had young children that were not allowed on the deck because regardless of what the property owner says, THEY WERE NOT SAFE!!!

Great home….amazing quiet beach front….loved everything about it! If I try to find complaints, I could mention that the kitchen had no linens, and the tv in the living room is pretty small….but hey, if that’s the worst I can come up with, I call that a win!!

Gulf, bay and pool… all just steps away…
Unfortunately lots of construction, trucks and noise…

This is such an incredible house in a beautiful location. There were a few SNAFUS, as with any place one stays, but the management company was responsive to our needs and requests. The house easily accommodated our group of 13 and turned out to be even better than what was depicted in the photos. I do wish the home had a second refrigerator for our large group, but our abundance of coolers sufficed as long a remembered to buy ice daily. Enjoy this amazing place during your next Gulf getaway.

Great house, but issues
Loved the house but encountered several issues; no dish towels, not enough bath towels, found out when we got there that oven didn't work, two toaster ovens were not a good replacement and didn't work properly, bannisters were dirty as well as jets in tub, some of the dishes were dirty. Our group of 17 were lucky that we brought extra blow-up mattress as there was no sofa sleeper in the living room as advertised. Construction in the subdivision created parking issues for us. The workers parked across street from house making backing out of hard. Views will soon be gone since there is construction in front and behind the property. Our son accidently took the garage door open home with him, so I emailed the management company to find out where they wanted me to send it, no response so far.

The location was nice and so was the property, but it would have been nice to know about the amount of construction going on in the neighborhood where the property was located. We received and extensive list of rules that we had to be sure to follow (parking, noise, etc.) but those rules didn't apply to the contractors. The management company was quick to respond to issue we had, but they were not proactive when I asked them ahead of time to make sure there were adequate sheets for our party. The kitchen was not fully equipped to cook for a party of 11. It lacked large skillets and pots which made things interesting. There were some minor plumbing issues which the management company addressed, but I would have expected those to be vetted before we arrived. Also the oven stopped working on the third day which may meals even harder.

What a perfect week we had here. The house is in such a great location right on the end of Navarre Beach before the protected dunes. We had the beaches and pool basically to ourselves for the duration of our stay. And it is only 10 miles to Pensacola Beach, so we did a day there and saw the Blue Angels!
The layout is perfect for large gatherings! We had 18 people and didn't feel cramped for space AT ALL. The majority of the bedrooms are located on one floor, with just one bedroom on the top near the living space. There were enough bathrooms and the house never ran out of hot water. It was clean and everything worked!
Communication with the property manager was awesome. They communicated over simple text messages and were very quick to respond to any requests or questions we had.
The negatives are so small, that they don't even knock off a single star. Probably the biggest one for our stay was that there is only one refrigerator. For 18 people, a 2nd full refrigerator I think would be necessary if, like us, you planned to cook the majority of your meals there instead of going out. Other than that; the only other thing I could see being a negative is that at some point the views aren't going to be quite as nice because they were in the beginning stages of construction on another house that would be blocking some view of the ocean; and that likely won't be the last one.
100% would recommend this to anyone with a group remotely like ours! We had 4 families with adults ranging from 33 to 49 years old and kids ranging from 4 to 15 years old. For the price, I don't think you can find a better deal on a house with this beautiful and quiet beach!

Property managers are spot on… the house was wonderful with tons of space and beautiful views.
Only negative was the whole shower in the master didn’t work and handheld in 2nd master didn’t work… a little disappointing for the price we paid!

This location is fabulous for the fabulous views of both the gulf and bay and even the protected National Seashore. It's also in a gated community for added safety. There are some abandoned houses across the street and not a designated beach access but a short walk to the beach or the bay. It was a lot less crowded than the more popular Gulf Shores/Orange Beach and beaches along 30-A. We had 15 in our group and really appreciated the large living area - plenty of seating for the adults and plenty of space for the younger ones to play. There is also large balconies and porches that wrap around the house and have plenty of chairs for rocking grandbabies and taking in the view. The house is worn and could use some updating and care in regards to better towels, more organized and stocked kitchen supplies, and shades on the windows and doors (we had to use makeshift blinds not to flash our neighbors). Also there were not garbage cans in every room to throw in trash. The garage was pretty filled with stuff that was broken or old or had been left behind and needed to be more space for our chairs, floats etc. The side patio was nice for washing off but the shower head was broken. The pool was very convenient and clean. The elevator worked well the entire time and was nice not only for our elderly parents but for loading and unloading. We enjoyed the walking path and the close proximity to both Navarre and Pensacola Beach and the beautiful drive along the seashore. If you are planning on having a seafood feast at home one night, I would strongly recommend driving into Pensacola and going to Joe Patty's seafood market. It is an experience with a huge selection and better prices than you will find around the area. We also enjoyed Where Ya At Seafood for lunch. Would definitely return to this house and location in the future.

This house has obviously seen a lot of wear and tear. Pictures on VRBO were probably taken many years ago- they do not accurately show the current condition (floors look good in the pictures but were actually in bad shape). We spent about half an hour cleaning the stove top when we arrived as it was dirty and covered with a greasy film (the inside of the stove was also dirty but we didn't use the oven). No real window coverings in master bedroom other than half covered with sheers - neighbor's very bright security light (about 5 feet away from bedroom windows) was on all night. Also no window coverings in master bathroom. Only 5 chairs at dining table (picture is not accurate on VRBO). Dishes, cookware, utensils were mostly cheap, mismatched and worn. The sofa could have used a cleaning - it had an unpleasant odor. Also the pictures don't show that there is new house on the east side of the property. There is also other new construction near the house that the pictures on VRBO don't show. Overall the house is overpriced for the level of quality that it offered. Pictures should be updated to more accurately show current conditions of the property, both of the interior and of the new construction near the house.

Property was nice but smelled like fish upon arrival as trash was full. Deck was extremely weathered and in need of tlc. Cable railing on the decks were extremely loose and not safe for children. Couch cushions and some pillows had tears in them with stuffing coming out. Some Dining room chairs had broken legs and not safe to sit in. Location was great but overall disappointed in the house for the money.

We had and a great week walking the beach and exploring the local area . Plenty of room for everyone.

A/C
The house itself was wonderful but we did have trouble with the A/C keeping up with the summer heat. During the day, the temperature in the house got up to 85 and didn't cool overnight. Lowest temp was 76 degrees when we woke up in the mornings. Seems that the unit needs to be serviced or charged or possible purchasing a larger unit for the size of the house. Overall experience was good, but it would have been great if we hadn't had the A/C trouble. Could possibly book this house in the future if we could be assured that the A/C would work better.

Family vacation 2019
The house was fantastic & very accommodating for our group of 17. We walked to the beach numerous times & the pool was used when the tropical storm threatened. Location was very convenient to activities. We had an issue with the refrigerator & the office was prompt getting it repaired. The only problem we had was parking, we had five vehicles and two small trailers carrying a jet ski & a golf cart. After the office let us know the parking rules & areas, we were compliant. The neighbors were rude. After we parked properly in garage, driveway, & down the street, the neighbors parked their vehicles in the street for long periods of times. Our group just overlooked piddly issues and had the best vacation on the beach!

Great Views, Tired House
Rented the house for Thanksgiving weekend. Family with 5 adults and 3 kids. The house was the right size for our family and had wonderful views but the house itself is tired. It could use a good updating. House was minimally stocked. There was no salt and pepper or any other spices at all. The can opener was broken, the pans weren't in very good shape. Everything that was needed was there it just wasn't in the best shape for the price we paid. One roll of TP in each bathroom for 5 days doesn't cut it with a full house. The house was clean except for the full garbage cans in the garage along with the rat trap with 3 dead rats.
We had friends that rented a different house during the same time we were in the area. Their house was on the beach, it was newer, nicer and it was better stocked and they paid the same price as we did.
The house worked. Family had a good time. But if we go back to Navarre Beach, we'll probably stay in a different house.

Good but...
I really loved this house; however, there were a few things missing. There were no garbage bags and no dish soap. Also, not enough toilet paper was provided for our stay. This house advertises for 18 people to stay there. My group had 14 people and within the 3 nights and 2 days we were there, we ran out of toilet paper. I do not think that 1 roll of toilet paper in each bathroom (4 bathrooms total) is enough for 18 people to stay for a weekend. Everything else was fine. They let us do a later checkout with no problem which was awesome!
All in all, my group enjoyed our stay. It is right across the quiet Navarre beach which was so convienent. We only had to walk across a little road to get to the beach. This house is beautiful and absolutely great for a big group but I hope those few minor problems get solved. Thank you for a good weekend! :)
4.3
Nice location with perfect ocean view. The property floor plan is excellent for 3 families
AC and washer drier don’t work well. That will be greate if the owner can provide some basic cooking ingredients. We didn’t get the community entry code before arriving and waited for a while to get respond from the owner.
4.3
Very nice beach house in great location!
My family enjoyed staying here. We loved the layout of the house. The kids and grandkids took the second level, and my wife and I took the bedroom on the third level (closest to the coffee pot :-) The elevator was definitely a plus, and the garage was perfect for all the beach toys, umbrella, coolers and chairs. The pool was very nice, right across the driveway, and we had it to ourselves most of the time. The beach was an easy walk across a small, not busy street, and the Sound was right behind this gated neighborhood. We fished in the Sound and did quite well! There was a Crane who enjoyed some of our fish!
Unfortunately, some of the views from the decks are now gone due to new construction in this (really nice) gated community. That didn't bother us! Also, unfortunately, there were workers banging around all day on the new houses being built. This also didn't bother us, but I can see where some folks would not like it.
The Gulf view from the top, front deck was perfect day and night, and when we hung out under the palm trees by the driveway, the Sound was within view. We could also see the Sound from where we grilled on the top deck. TIP: Grill at noon before the sun comes around to the west side of the house!
This very upscale house sits at the west end of Navarre Beach right where the National Seashore begins. It is truly a beautiful area.
We did find a few ants in the kitchen, but they didn't last long! Speaking of the kitchen, this area was beautiful with white tile, a nice stove, and was very functional.
TIP: I would advise any future renter to make sure you put only your cell phone number on the VBRO reservation. When we first booked the property, we used our home phone number to match the credit card. This meant we didn't get the access code in a timely manner. (Our fault, not the owner's.) When we contacted them, we received the code with five minutes.
If you're looking for a place on the beach AND sound that is beautiful and safe, this is the place for you!

The best beach house ever!
I can’t say enough about this property! Everything about it was amazing! The views were so beautiful and the beaches of Navarre are some of the best in the country. I can’t wait to bring my family back next year.
4.3
One of the nicest places we have stayed!
This beach house was just amazing! The views in each room were breathtaking! The house has so much charm and character that it makes you almost want to skip going to the beach and just hang out on the decks!
We loved how close the beach was the kids walked back and forth between the beach and the pool every day! The pool is right behind the house and we had it to ourselves every single day! It really was the perfect vacation!
