About this cabin rental
Just steps from the water, boasting a full wall of floor to ceiling windows that look out over the big new deck and out to Tumbo Chanel. The (pet friendly) cottage is well appointed and comfortable with plenty of room for a family of 4. The cottage has 2 bedrooms – 1 queen, 1 twin – a 3 piece bathroom (tub with shower), kitchen with built-in banquette in the corner window (perfect for seal and eagle watching), and spacious living room.
The property is adjacent to East Point Regional Park where you can find the original fog alarm house, which is now home to a visitor information/ interpretive centre. If you are a seeker of local information and history, you will find yourself taking the short walk up to the fog alarm building daily. If you have any interest at all in spending your days watching seals and otters frolic, exploring tide pools, hiking, crabbing, sighting orcas literally meters away, and basking in phenomenal sunsets on the front deck, this is the place for you!
A haven for whale watchers and nature enthusiasts. Low bank ocean front with two sandy beaches and tidal pools for hours of entertainment and great swimming. Watch seals and sea lions frolic in the ocean as you relax on the front lawn. Be amazed by the bald eagles diving for their dinner, and be prepared to be startled by a deer nibbling the tree outside the bedroom window. Your stay also gives you access to 44 acres of private hiking trails for your dog to enjoy off leash walks. Bring your paddle board, boat, kayak, or canoe and launch it at our private boat ramp.

Our 4th stay here and it never disappoints! The location is unbeatable. Host was responsive and reached out proactively when the island's power went out temporarily.

We booked a return visit next year as soon as we saw the place!

A glorious week of peace and quiet, slow paces as we drank in the majestic beauty of ocean and islands hosting an endless parade of wonderful wildlife. It was hard to leave and it will be easy to return, one day. I can't imagine how one could improve this experience!

This property is so beautiful and we were amazed at how quiet it was sitting on the new deck that is nearly at the water's edge. A wonderful place to relax and restore.

You cannot beat this location. Right by the water and the East Point Park makes it ideal.

The host is incredible, from email communication, a phone call and EASY payment process. Staff that stayed said the rooms were fantastic, the hosts were beyond friendly and accommodating. This was a last minute / desperate booking, and it turned out to be perfect, due to the host(s). Thank you!! - ON Side Restoration

Thank you for sharing your beautiful property with us. The setting is so peaceful and relaxing and the wildlife is amazing! We saw eagles, otters, humpbacks and orcas. The cottage was so comfortable and made for a very relaxing and enjoyable vacation. We would love to return.

Place was rustic but nice. Was surprised that we were the only guests at the property. (4 other cabins). Quite secluded. Great to have the East Point park right next door, we walked there everyday. Beautiful views and sunsets. Saw humpback whales 6 of the 7 days. Lots of other wildlife, seals, minks, deer, raccoons, eagles, porpoises and otters. Was a relaxing holiday.

This is an amazing property as it was very close to the ocean, a beach and a lookout point with abundant wildlife. We did see the Orcas as they went past the cottage, as well as many seals, a few eagles, and many deer and birds! We enjoyed our stay, it was completely relaxing and is indeed a beautiful spot. We all wanted to stay longer, but had to come back to reality. We are planning to visit again!

We so enjoyed the amazing location and being able to go for easy walks on the bluff right out the front door, letting the kids go down to the beach themselves, and the amazing views. We really enjoyed ourselves:)

A small cabin that has everything you need. The eating area is surrounded by windows and a close view of the ocean. The proximity to the East Point walking trails and the Whale trail is fabulous. A boat launch for our canoe and a small beach to sit and read.... Pet friendly and I would say kid friendly tho it was only my husband and I on this trip.

We decided to do a short holiday on a whim, and what a gem to be found. The cottage was perfectly located to see the lighthouse, whales right in front of our window, and the friendly vibe of Saturna. Great walks around the area and look out points. Kitchen was very clean., bedroom could have used a little more attention. Due to water shortage we brought our own but were very grateful for the bottled water on site. Will totally book again.
