Such a fun place for the extended family to stay- the house was beautiful and it was so much fun to paddleboard in the lake. So much care taken to the little extras (beach towels, toys, etc)

Our trip to Island Park was incredible! The house was perfect for our group of 10. There were plenty of bath and beach towels. The laundry room was incredible! Beds were comfortable, plenty of pillows. Bathroom well stocked. There are ton of windows in the house with natural light and thorough ventilation when windows and slider screen door open. The home is beautifully decorated and is incredibly cozy. We had two young girls with us that loved the under stair play area, with toys, blankets, & pillows. I love to cook, and the kitchen has a large pantry, refrigerator (with an additional refrigerator in the laundry room). Plenty of counter space. I appreciated the double supply of utensils. There was a grill and smoker on the porch, which was great! I especially loved the rocking chairs on the porch as we enjoyed many sunsets. On our last day we saw a family of pronghorn in the prairie. The lake was within walking distance, but to actually fish, paddle board, kayak etc. there is about a half a mile walk to the community dock. There is also some grass and a nice picnic area near the community dock to enjoy a family gathering. The balcony and hot tub were a bonus after our long hikes in the park. Yellowstone National Park was approx 40 min away. We were very impressed with the home and the owner was very responsive and timely in answering any questions we had. Overall we highly recommend.

The house is as advertised - spacious, accommodating, and well equipped. Amenities like groceries were much closer than some prior reviews suggest. Easy to get to floating on peaceful river, and all that Yellowstone has to offer. I expect we will he back with our three grown kids and their families again.

This was a beautiful house. Had everything we needed. We stayed here to visit Yellowstone, and unfortunately that was about a 45-50 minute drive away. The closest grocery store was 20 minutes away. We made sure we brought everything from Jackson when we drove in, but we inevitably needed something. Kelsey was very nice and responsive, unfortunately we had cancelations in our travel plans that allowed us to not be able to stay the first night and we were unable to get a refund or even price break. It is definitely understandable, but was disappointing on top of already interrupted travel plans. In all - make sure you are 100% with your dates and don’t go to this area if you want convenience; go for seclusion.

Home is well decorated and bathrooms were nice and clean. The inside was mostly clean. We could not use the outside balconies due to the excessive amount of cobwebs and bird poop. Inside under the bed in the train room were wrappers and empty water bottles and tons of dirt. Many dead flies and cobwebs on the window sills and ledges. We were also quite surprised by the check out list. We paid a cleaning fee. But the check out list said to wash towels and strip beds. None of that was ever posted in the listing. I don’t go on vacation to do house work. Other than that the house was very accommodating and beautiful.

This home was perfect for our group of 18. The spacious kitchen / eating area allowed us all to have meals together. The beds were very comfortable and the home had everything you could need- two crockpots- dishes cake pans- keurig , and more! Location was beautiful and about 35 mins from West Yellowstone. We would definitely stay here again!

This house is absolutely beautiful! Exactly as described and very comfortable for our group of 10. The kitchen is very well stocked and we loved cooking out on the grill and smoker. The views from the wrap around porch are awesome! Lots to do nearby and it’s just a short drive to West Yellowstone. The host was very helpful and quick to respond. Gave us lots of information about the surrounding area. We will definitely be back again!

Loved gathering around the campfire in the evening to roast marshmallows. The sunsets were awesome!
It was great to have 2 kayaks and 2 paddle boards, life jackets, towels and access to the reservoir.
It was easy to enter the gated community with plenty of parking and lots of space between neighbors.

Great Family Reunion Getaway
Spacious cabin home with everything we needed and more! Generously stocked with basics (bath, dish, laundry soaps, bedding, towels, trash bags, etc). Plenty of room for 4 couples, 2 adult “kids”, and 4 children. The wide open views of mountains, valley (wildlife!) are amazing. Just a note for low clearance cars, the last 2 or 3 miles are gravel. Sunsets from the back porch and fire pit are magical! Hostess is super attentive and sweet- gave great recommendations of the area from food to sightseeing that worked out fabulously. We loved this trip so much and would absolutely stay here again! Thanks Kelsey!

Great house
Great house and great location. Had the bad luck of coming during the week Yellowstone was closed but more than enough to do in the area without Yellowstone. Kelsey was helpful with ideas on the area. Would definitely stay here again. We had a large group of 4 families and plenty of room.

Very beautiful property, has everything you need for a large group with straight forward instructions. Kelsey is also very responsive. The only negatives is the twin pullout sofa in the upstairs bedroom was not comfortable at all, that person ended up sleeping on one of the bunk beds because she said it was more comfortable than the sofa bed. The other negative is probably not the owners fault but maybe the previous people that stayed at the home, I don’t think they took off the sheets in one of the bedrooms as instructed to. They smelled bad both the sheets and the comforter smelled like they hadn’t been washed, we took them off and put them to wash. The home had a lot of extra bedding so that wasn’t a big deal. Overall, my family and I really enjoyed our stay here, it was very relaxing, and we enjoyed watching the sunsets from the deck every evening! We would stay here again.

Beautiful home with easy access to Yellowstone and other Idaho recreation/park areas
The property was as advertised - very beautiful and exactly what my family needed for a wonderful vacation. The home had every thing we needed for sleeping, cooking, relaxing and recreating. Communications with the owner was very good throughout the process and stay, and it was helpful understanding the location of grocery stores and some local sites. The area is rural, and access to stores is somewhat limited, so planning and understanding the area is important. We rented a pontoon boat from Lakeside Lodge and used the community docks to stop by the house during the outing. Fishing was good in the evening from the community docks. We went into Yellowstone via the West Entrance multiple times (about 35 minutes from the house), and looped down to Tetons and Jackson Hole during one all day outing. Overall it was a great vacation for us, and this property was a huge part of it.

This VRBO is so beautiful and makes for a great vacation spot. The kitchen was well stocked, the living room and dining room were perfect with enough seating and space for our group of 11 to gather and hang out and play games. The outdoor dining table, grill, firepit, hammock, and rocking chairs were also great to have. My favorite spot is the upstairs balcony with the patio furniture and hot tub that overlooks the firepit. It was so cozy. The neighborhood was very secluded and quite a ways away from West Yellowstone which made for super early mornings for our hikes, but we knew what we were getting ourselves into when we booked this place. This place even has lake access just down the street in the neighborhood (might need to drive the car down to the park where the shared dock is but also walkable with no gear). Something to consider for families, given the open layout of this home, sound travels quite a bit all over so not a ton of completely quiet spaces in the house if that's what you need.
To be transparent, the place was not cleaned before we arrived as intended, but Kelsey was so quick to respond to my messages, very apologetic, and even called me even though she was traveling herself. I appreciate her responsiveness and getting the cleaners over the same afternoon! We ended up playing games and settling in on the above-mentioned balcony while they worked which worked out perfectly for us. Kelsey was also super sweet when I told her about some trouble we had with the dining room chandelier. Great host.
I would love to come back someday but it may be a while given how much travel it is to get to such a secluded area. One day, though!

First, the lake cabin is absolutely gorgeous! Beautifully decorated and kept up perfectly. The owner was easily accessible and thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and not needing to bring anything extra. The property is beautiful as well. We didn't want to leave. And we have already decided that we would love to come again!

The house was OUTSTANDING! We would have appreciated knowing there was no a/c. House was HOT!! Opening windows is fine when there is not a rainstorm. Kayaks belong to the neighbors; we arrived home from sightseeing and noticed that a kayak was gone. We tried calling home owner as we thought the kayak had been stolen and were extremely concerned. We noticed that a similar kayak was stacked on a trailer at the home across the street and proceeded over to inquire. This is how we learned that the kayaks belonged to the neighbors. The trash dumpsters were completely full upon arrival; previous renters and/or cleaning service did NOT put dumpsters at the end of the driveway for dumping upon checkout. We did try to inquire about amenities available at the home prior to arrival ... we carried saran wrap, foil, sandwich bags, seasonings, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, laundry soap ... etc. all of this and more was already at the house. We would have had extra room in our luggage for other things. :) Also, black hair was found in the upstairs bathtub and behind the toilet ... YUCK - cleaning crew should take a little more time.

This property was beautiful and had all the extra touches we needed! We loved using the paddle boards and kayaks and the kids loved the bunk room. It was also accessible to Yellowstone. The only issue we had is that the power went out one night and we didn’t have Kelsey’s number but she did respond to email and called later that night after the power came back on.

We had an amazing time and I highly recommend this home to any group looking for a comfortable place to stay while visiting the West Yellowstone area. The owner was incredibly helpful and even gave us a recommendation to visit the Upper Mesa Falls which became a highlight of the vacation.

We had the best Christmas vacation. This home was large enough for all 20 of us in the party. The owners have thought of everything! The amenities and décor were thoughtful and impressive. The setting is storybook pretty. We want to come back in the summer!

The most perfect lake house
This was our second stay at the lake house and we couldn’t have loved it more! The property is gorgeous with an amazing set up. Awesome yard for the kids to play, have fires and hang out. More than enough room for our large family at the large dining table and kitchen bar.
Entire house was stocked with everything we needed.
The details and thought put into the home are just awesome. The owners were beyond accommodating and super quick to respond to a couple questions.
Home is located right by the lake and was stocked with everything we needed for a beach day.
Love love love this property!
