Svein was a nice and welcoming host who would take me to the places around and let me go on a hike with his dog.
He would even get me back my woolly hat on my last day I forgot at a party a few kilometers away. Thanks again!
The place is cozy and has almost everything basic you are looking for. Also there is a good supermarket located just up the road.
The surrounding is perfect and the view from the window is very nice.
In winter you might need the air heating system located in the second room. It's a little noisy, but I only had to use it part time in February. The water in the shower flows towards the toilet, but Svein wanted to look after this issue soon. The main bed is very soft, but I slept very well.

I had a car so to drive from Bergen (North West part) it took roughly 1hr 45minutes. Upon arrival the host Svein was very welcoming and showed me to my private cabin and also showed me how to use the facilities (heating systems, oven, shower etc). After a bit of a rest, I was invited to the host’s home close by and I was introduced to the rest of his family (his lovely wife Mary and their son). Mary and I got on very well and had lots to talk about. That evening she had kindly made homemade pizza 🍕 for us all which I thoroughly enjoyed as it’s my favourite food 😋
The location itself was breathtaking with snowy mountains 🏔 and nature and all of its wonderful creatures. I had such a wonderful relaxing stay here and even though it was only for a short 2 night stay, it felt longer.
I would definitely revisit this location again in the near future. Everyone keeps saying to come back in spring/summer time, but I love the fresh snow ❄️ of the winter season.
I am severely allergic to cats and dogs and unfortunately the owners did not mention that they had a large friendly dog who likes to pounce on people out of friendliness on booking.com. This meant that they had to keep the dog locked in a different part of the house every time I visited the host for breakfast/dinner and social time. I felt very bad about this as the dog kept crying 😿 which was very awkward for me.

The apartment had breathtaking views and was clean with everything you could need. Svein was extremely hospitable and friendly taking us to some amazing walks that we wouldn’t have been able to find ourselves.

A home away from home!
Really nice hosts, the apartment is big, with all you need comfy bad, coffee, kitchen utensils, plus a grate view!
It's really like being at home.
Slept like a log.
Will visit again!

The owner was very welcoming and extremely friendly. The view on the mountains from the dining table is gorgeous. The decor of the apartment created a cozy atmosphere. The apartment was small but well equipped. Fair value for this price in Norway.
The bathroom was extremely small and the floor was leaning from the shower towards the toilet, which led to the floor around the toilet stay wet long and the whole apartment smell. This spoiled our otherwise positive impression of the place. The beds are rather narrow (120 cm) and the heating in the living/bedroom with AC was loud.

Svein is one of the nicest people you could wish to meet and he even made the effort to welcome us when we arrived, as well as wave us on our way when we left. A truly nice guy! The view from the property is superb - perfect with your morning coffee. The property is small but functional, with everything you need. WiFi is consistent and strong. Cooking facilities mean you don’t have to eat out all the time. This is the kind of place where you would want to spend 2+ nights because one night wouldn’t be enough!
A few things here and there could do with refreshing, but this doesn’t detract from the experience of being there.

Mary has made us feel welcome from the start. We got the chance to exchange a little bit with her and we wish we had more time to talk with her. The apartment is super cozy and comfy. Plus the view was amazing
Rien. Tout était parfait du debut à la fin !

We liked everything about this place. Probably it was the best place to stay during our 1 week trip in Norway. Beautiful scenery, shop near by and place for a walk with kids in a forest. Very friendly owners. Very cozy and warm place to stay with own kitchen and toilet. Complimentary tea and coffee. Everything very well equipped. Very highly recommended.

Very nice place, cordial host, cozy living.
A little narrower beds, not so comfortable for more days.

Great location with amazing views. Clean apartment with private bathroom and kitchen. Nice and calm, I really liked it. The host, Svein, was very friendly and helpful. The Wifi was good, since the cellphone signal was weak in the area. Joker grocery store, Circle K automat, and Mer charging station nearby if needed. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent localization, beautiful view from the room. Clean and cosy. Very welcome check-in and check-out. A good place to stay.
