Julie & Clive were great hosts….snug room with a lovely breakfast…will definitely return!!

Great bedroom with character oak beams, very snug and warm(was a cold w/e) with fridge, coffee machine & milk provided.Lovely cooked breakfast as well as cereals etc couldn’t fault it. Julie & Clive we’re great hosts.

Great b/b but a little noisy when busy.

Great location ,nice owners and staff with a very good breakfast.

As its an old building the floors are very creaky and during my stay the place was full of workers who came in late and left very early so all in all a very noisy end and start to my day.

The welcome and the facilities were super. Nothing was too much trouble. Warm and cosy. Excellent breakfast.

This place is really good for the money - and that breakfast is great. Location is also perfect.

Getting Kippers for breakfast was a real score!

It's feeling a little tired, but thats for the new owners to sort, as it's up for sale.

Mittelalterliche Unterkunft

Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Auch das Frühstück schmeckte sehr lecker.

Das Haus stammt aus dem 14. Jahrhundert. Die Zimmer wurden zwar restauriert, aber man spürte die Unebenheiten und es knirschte und knackte, wenn man sich bewegte. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmte deswegen nicht ganz.

Perfect place for a visit to Bishops Castle

Great location in the centre of the town, comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Lovely beams in bedroom and window overlooking street. Breakfast was delicious and catered for a coeliac member of the party.

Delightful , comfortable stay in 400 year old house .Recommended.

Ambiance , friendliness of staff , quality of pure cotton bed linen .

Lighting , shades over bulbs would be good . ( this is a minor gripe) .

Everything we were led to expect. Very good value. Will definitely use again.

Although in the centre of Bishops Castle, the room was wonderfully quiet all night. Excellent breakfast, even black pudding!

My usual grumble from country b n bs to expensive city hotels, winter duvets, 10.5, in the height of Summer!

Very good

Fridge in room plus bottled water. Hosts were accommodating and friendly and went out of their way to meet our needs. Breakfast was excellent. Could come and go as and when throughout the day as key supplied. Good advice of where to get a evening meal.

Comfortable, clean and welcoming, all good.

Perfect central location. Historic building. Friendly and helpful staff. We found the beds comfortable, with nice linen. The rooms were clean and well arranged. Breakfast was solid and tasty and the coffee was nice and strong which is unusual in our experience. Also nice to have fresh milk in our rooms. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and felt that it was very good value for money. We would recommend this place.

This is the IDEAL British Bed and Breakfast! Come and stay, you'll love it!

A beautiful, seventeenth century town house in perfect condition, with all the character you could imagine. Comfortable, spacious rooms with a good size bathroom and a lobby with a fridge and all the facilities for hot and cold drinks. The owners are very friendly and helpful, they allowed me to park my motorcycle in their private yard. THe breakfast room was delightful and the food matched every expectation. Finally, the location. It's in the very centre of this charming, historic town. You can walk to every pub or restaurant within five minutes. Thank you for having us, we look forward to our next visit!

Nice break with my daughter in a lovely town on several famous walking trails.

Great breakfast, super comfy beds and central location. The owners are lovely people and very helpful. There's off-street parking for unloading. The property is old-world charming with exposed beams and has recently had the walls re-rendered. Some of the rooms are family sized with as well. Can't recommend it highly enough for the money.

Things close early! So be aware of that when you venture out for dinner.

The teacups too wide so tea getting cold too fast 😂. Maybe china mugs or cups would be better.

adequate but quite noisy. my room at the back but was below the room of a family member

breakfast was by far the best thing about my stay,

upon arrival the premises were dark and there was a closed sign on the door. turned out that the entrance was not where a sign sread 'poppy house' but next door.
