My children from FL. And myself completely loved the sunset view from the balcony and picture window

Overall great experience. The house had great views and a great location. The advertisement for bedroom 2 was misleading. The sleeper sofa is in the living room.

Charming cottage with fabulous views and thoughtful amenities. Mattresses must have been upgraded as we slept quite well. I hope to stay here again!

Very nice and comfortable for our 2 days. Kitchen was a bit small for preparing a meal for 4 but adequate.
We would return!

The Bear’s Den was a great home base for our adventures along the Oregon Coast. You have everything you need with easy access to the beach. Neighbors are friendly, and you can walk to a small grocery store and coffee shop.

Overall this place is great. Kitchen is well stocked. It has a great beach vibe in the decor. We had only a two night stay but if we would have stayed longer it would have been nice to have a place to hang up/store clothes and suitcases. There aren’t closets and the bedrooms are very small with no room to place a suitcase open on the floor. We liked the location a lot especially the walkability of the beach. The listing includes the hide a bed in the count but there were no sheets or pillows for the bed. We had to call to get those and didn’t realize until later in the evening so had to do without the first night. We made do with some shams from the other beds and blankets, but those were in need of washing. With a little sprucing up this would be a five star spot.

WARNING: Before you book this property understand that under no conditions are you going to change, cancel or escape the $$ committed to the owner. Consider a nice hotel or more flexible vacation option before booking.
We tried to change the stay and under NO way we had to go. Expensive mistake. Only deal with direct VRBO owner renters.

My daughter and I needed a place to stay for the night. Very last-minute travel change. There was no problem renting and was even allowed early check-in. This was very much appreciated as the weather was very wet. We were allowed access to the property immediately and we didn't have to find some other temporary shelter from the weather when we arrived in town. The house was perfect for our needs, was very clean and thoughtfully appointed.

If you have no hot water or heat the breaker panel is under the house I searched for a bit to figure that out
Other than that we enjoyed the home very much
On another note be careful using Vacasa I caught them in flat out lies and overcharged me as well customer serves that is horrible I would highly recommend using a different agency to do business with they are not professional or worthy

This property is a cute cozy cottage located on a dead end street facing Netarts bay. We love the ease of access to the water with great views. The house inside and out has been updated and probably the nicest property on the block.
Overall comfortable space until you decide to go lay down. Before booking I did see a few others comment about the mattress, I thought maybe it was an over-exaggeration... Please update your mattress, 2 adults cannot comfortably sleep together due to the inversion or center dip.

We absolutely loved staying here even on a rainy weekend! It was so peaceful to watch the ocean.

This house is nicely redone- no musty smell. The view is awesome and beach access is close and walkable for able bodied family members.

Not all lodgings on the pacific have heating (we have checked), and the heating provided here was great, given the snowy situation and low temperatures. The den is perfectly designed and has used the space the best way! Furniture is great, allowing a chill time. Washer/dryer was a savior! Abundant towels and extra blankets provided. Kitchen has enough facilities for cooking. I can easily imagine staying here for a whole week. The view of the ocean is much better in reality than in the pictures.

One word to describe our stay - wow! The view is just absolutely breathtaking from the second you walk through the front door, and that alone is enough for us to come back and stay again. On top of that, the house is so charming and was an ideal space for the four of us and our dog. The ambience of the home and of the scenery is perfect for a relaxing weekend.
The home amenities were great, cleanliness was outstanding, and the house was everything we were hoping for and more. We were nervous about the comfort of the beds because we had seen a few reviews that said they weren't the best... but honestly, they were completely fine (maybe the pillows could use some updating is all).
Overall, our stay was 10/10. Would be more than happy to stay here again.

The view from the dining are, sitting area and the main bedroom was beautiful (minus cable and another small rental in the view)! There are all the basics you need for cooking and grilling. Short stairs to the beach!

We had the best time staying here. Not only is it decorated so cute and cozy it’s in the perfect location. Great views and tons to do around. The walk to the beach is super close. Close to tillamook for groceries, restaurants, cheese tour, etc. We cooked a couple times and the kitchen had everything we need. Favorite things close by were Cape Meares Lighthouse, Tunnel Beach, searching for Agates, cheese tour at Tillamook Creamery, Blue Heron, Schooner restaurant in Netarts, Roseanna restaurant in Oceanside, Sea Worthy coffee (walking distance), and much more.

Such a awesome place love the location above Netarts Bay. Very cute and clean inside. Check in & out was easy and no stress. Outside swing, and entertaining area was very nice as well.
4.5
Parking was an issue. The spaces are extremely short and do not accommodate a full size pickup. The spaces across the street are owned by the motel next door and are not available as stated in the listing.
4.5
Calm vibes at the bungalow. Smaller than envisioned. Modern and soothing. Good views despite neighbors being super close on 3 sides. Had some ants gathered around a trap in the kitchen. Access to beach is close but steep and slightly rocky. We only stayed the weekend but longer stays may be difficult because there are no dressers or closets. Overall, a good place for the 5 of us and none of the issues are deal breakers so we’d likely stay again.

Great interior and view, clean and nice!- will be back.

Wish we could stay longer! Charming place, square footage used efficiently and conveniently located. Appreciated having the bikes and kayaks! Only suggestion would be to place the planters elsewhere to allow for larger parking spots.

Lovely little home that was perfect for our family meet up. The living room /dining rooms were small but worked well to entertain my parents who came over to hang out with us. House was clean & dry. No mildew smell. We didn't get to use the outdoor area because of a big snow. Walking access to the beach, just down the hill. Bedrooms are very small & beds not so comfortable. Plus motion light on the building next door kept shining a light into both rooms on & off at night. But other than that had a wonderful time at The Bear Den!

Great place, nice and quiet. Real clean with everything we needed. Good location to store and restaurants.

A perfectly quant stay with my wife. We really enjoyed relaxing and watching the waves. Only other ask would be a fireplace to accompany.
4.5
This house is perfect for a couple and has adorable and cozy decor with a beautiful view. We watched the sunset, played board games, cooked some seafood. It was magical. But honestly, the beds ruined it for us. They were so uncomfortable that we slept terrible all of the nights we were there. They are small - not a true queen in either room. They have no support. We were relieved to go home and sleep well and not wake up in pain every day.
4.5
This home is VERY well appointed, above and beyond actually. The kitchen and bathroom is fantastic and made our long weekend even more special. The only reason I'm giving this 5 stars is that the beds were extremely firm but this is a personal thing so I guess it really shouldn't be cause for a loss of a star...we will be back!

We loved the nice finishes in the rental. The view is pretty nice and the walk to the beach wasn’t too far.
4.5
Great house close to the beach. Disappointed to find the coffee pot was missing to the coffee maker. Not a good start to our morning. Those items should be accounted for before renting to the next person. Location was great for beach access but did not realize it was next to a motel and lots of other homes crammed into the same lot. Would have liked more privacy for the price I paid. Very cute home, clean and great bathroom.

We loved our stay at The Bear's Den! The views of the bay (and kind of ocean) were beautiful and peaceful. It's a smaller home and was perfect for the two of us, but might be more challenging for a larger group that isn't used to staying in close quarters. We loved everything about this place, except for the bed in the room facing the ocean- the bed was pretty uncomfortable to us and had us feeling like we were sinking into it. The other thing (which wasn't awful) was that the oven was smaller than a typical oven, which was only an inconvenience on the night we made a homemade pizza. Besides those details, we loved the openness of the updated space, the nearby beach access and proximity to Oceanside, Cape Lookout, Cape Meares and Tillamook!
4.5
This property provided a peaceful place to retreat, relax, and enjoy the nearby ocean.

Great, seamless experience at this adorable little cottage! The remodel was lovely, and even though there are multiple properties stacked very closely, you still feel like you have all the privacy in the world. A couple of mentions that are definitely not deal breakers. It was very clean minus the trash from the previous guest still left under the kitchen sink, but nothing disgusting. There are no kitchen knives so we used our pocket knives. Again, no big deal. This was such a relaxing getaway for us. The view is amazing and the sunsets absolutely beautiful.
4.5
This location has access to the best beach, and you can walk to tunnel beach from there. We loved watching the tides and sunsets every day. It was convenient to have dedicated parking. The bathroom was very well done - excellent shower. The one mattress in the room facing the ocean needs to be replaced - I think a couple of reviewers have mentioned that. Other than that - we loved the place and loved Netarts!

The view added to a cute cottage made my vacation a dream.

We could see where the ocean meets the bay through the window as soon as we pulled up. Truly amazing view. Also cozy and functional. Grilled on the covered patio in heavy rain both nights and stayed dry.

Mom and I loved the location and the view. Easy access to the beach where our dog Lola had a lovely time running and playing. Fun and yummy crab dinner at the nearby Schooner restaurant. Updated, modern clean, good Wi-Fi, TV, furniture, appliances, comfortable beds. It was great all around. All that being said it was probably about $100 overpriced with all the fees associated with the booking.
