Being it is a hostal, it is very good. It has private and shared rooms and well equipped kitchen as common space. It is located in a small town with few terraces to sit and enjoy food and drinks.

The apartment was very comfortable and cozy! Will 100% come back if I need some place to stay in this part of Tenerife!

We had such an amazing time here, ended up extending our stay twice! The staff were super friendly, helpful and accommodating. We stayed in the main hostel then moved to the studio apartment. Both rooms were super clean and comfortable, the staff even moved our food and wine to the studio which was amazing! Great location with a fantastic bus routes, easy to get to stunning hikes some of which are on there door step. We can’t wait to come back! Would highly recommend this place to everyone. Un hogar lejos de casa x

- centrally in a nice, romantic, coastal small town
- decent, free and very available parking right out of the door
- cheap
- no noise reduction in the doors and old/primitive windows
- no hooks/bars to hang clothes/towel in the bathroom
- main entry door has problems, it regularly caused opening issues late at night, with resulting banging, noisy shaking of the door, repeated futile (un)locking, people talking out loud late at night because of these issues
4.2
location is the best
-noise of the fridge
-bed was not comfortable and sheets were very old
-we were not able to cook because it didn’t work
4.2
Perfect location close to little bars and the Charco de las lajas natural swimming pool. Very sencillo and bonito with local craft (everything painted there - room names etc is by a local woman and she is very good). Perfect for staying the night in that area.
bathroom could be better - lots of water everywhere
4.2
The staff and the location.
The size of the room and the speed bumps next to the window.

I actually changed other reservation to stay in this hostel, once I saw it on booking.
Totally worth it.
it is very nice hostel, the sea is just behind the door. The kitchen is well equiped and clean. The hostel is nit very big, which means, the environment is not anonymous.
the village is quiet, there is a natural bath- very nice and a nice walking trail

I like the location, the vibe and one of the worker she was nice.
I felt it was cold and the blanket was too thin…I used another blanket that was in the closet but it was dirty.

This is a hidden gem of a place in historic San Juan de Rambla neighborhood, perfect for travelers or remote workers seeking calm and peace (The town itself is small but short bus ride takes you to puerto de la cruz). The hostel is run by two sister bosses, who also own a jewlery company. The place is impeccably clean, welcoming, offers 2 private rooms, one studio apartment, and shared dorms. Second time returning, I stayed in all of them while waiting for the private studio... All rooms get booked so make sure to plan ahead. You also can whatsapp the business directly to ask for room availability. I met guests who return time after time, I will be one of them.

the hostel was well priced with great facilities in the private room. The bed is super firm and comfy, my back hasn’t felt so good in a good while!
shower had a tendency to leak out and wet the floor next to it

Very nice backpacker hostel. We had a private room and its not a big hostel. Made with a good sense of taste with decorations and all these things with makes a place to stand out thus making your stay very enjoyable. Very nice kitchen with comfortable communal area to bring people together. Location could not be more central and the village is beautiful. Super nice hike along the ocean - was surprised how beautiful it was! Many places around to eat, also in the neighbor village which is 5 min walk away. Free car parking almost at the front door.
Our private room had window to the street, so a bit noisy it was.

We booked the room with the private kitchen and bathroom. It's a nice room. The town of San Juan de la Rambla is well located and beautiful.
Unfortunatelly the room is very noisy. You can hear all the cars in the streets and there are a lot of them from 6am to 22 pm. I felt like I was sleeping on the sidewalk and it's was really disturbing for me (but I guess it can be ok for some people). Earplugs are necessary. It's too bad because the town is quiet but you can't really relax.
The mattress is also too firm for me. I can't say that I slept well I'm sorry

Location is beautiful and very local feeling!
Owners are amazing and always helpful!!
There is only a 2 burner stove in the kitchen. A little challenging with everyone wanting to cook

Anna was very helpful and attentive. The property was very cozy and well organized. The proximity to nature and the quietness of the town were highlights of my stay.
4.2
Small hostel with 1 shared room and 2 private rooms, small kitchen with all the facilties you'd need for a couple of days.
The front door needs attention, you have to kick it to get in and prize it open with a knife to get out (or ask a fellow traveller with very strong hands to help) a handle on the inside would help.
Private room very basic, window covered in vegetation.
4.2
Good facilities, good Wi-Fi, good location to reach many places to see in Tenerife
If you’re after for something to forget urban life, maybe this place is not for you as it’s by the road and traffic gets quite loud.
4.2
Location, good internet
I was afraid to sleep upstairs..there was no barrier to protect you from falling down while sleeping but the boss gave me after one night another bed! Thats Very kind! Good place!! I liked it!
4.2
the common space expected to be bigger from the picture, non possibility to look the stars.
4.2
Perfect place to stay a bit out of the big cities. Small hostel, easy to meet people. Very clean, Warm and available staff
You can hear a bit the street, not an issue for me. Supermarkets are not always opened, but there are restaurants or quick bus ride.
4.2
The owners were cute and very responsive ready for us helped with directions and recommendations for places to eat.
There could be more plug sockets considering its a hostel there weren't many

Great location, very friendly service of the hostesses. Easy checkin and easy checkout. Very particular vibe in rooms and the rest of the hostal. It had the heart and soul of two enthusiastic Tenerifeñas! Decoration was often their hand craft work.
Not the typical place with Ikea furniture and fancy technology. Wi-Fi was perfect. Covid-19 measures in place. Suite Isabel had all the necessary luxury for a solo traveler.
It does face the street. Night time it's quiet but some might like to have windows open and leave the room. That's not posible. Also count in mosquitoes if you keep lights on in your room.
Your right next to the sea. Mosquitoes will enter. It's exceptionally hot for September! So I had 2 small high windows open until traffic started in the morning. I would suggest a fan in case a customer asks for it.
If you look for a local vibe, book your stay here! San Juan de la Rambla is a perfect start for different hiking trails.
It's a very quaint little town full of historical reference points. There were no tours offered due to low occupancy. Business is slow on Tenerife still due to Covid-19 travel restrictions.
But I'd recommend anyone to choose this town over Garachico!! The last one is too expensive and too touristy. You don't get value for money in places that were covered in mass tourism before the pandamic. Like Garachico.
This town deserves more visitors. Bus 363 takes you in 30 minutes from Puerto de la Cruz to San Juan de la Rambla! Stay in this Hostal and take the same bus 363 to discover the other half of this coastline. All the way up to Buena Vista!
If you like to be close to everything ( without renting a car) San Juan de la Rambla is located right in between Puerto de la Cruz and the furthest end. Public transport runs smooth!
No need for a car. And it's super cheap by Public transport!
Thank you sisters! I will be back! Encantada de conoceros. Volveré con ganas y amigos.
That I couldn't stay longer. 1 night is too little to enjoy all of the facilities and the surroundings. But I live here. So I will back!

Right in front of a great view of sea and mountains. Beautiful sunrise. Host provides complimentary yummy homemade mojo sauces in kitchen. Easy parking nearby. Very good wifi.
A dishwasher machine in common kitchen would be nice.
4.2
The apartment is very nice and the host friendly. Sea view from the window. Located in a small village
The beach of San Juan was closed when we were there
4.2
The bunk beds, the most comfortable ones I ever slept in (wide and comfortable)
Missing plugs and personal light per bunk bed
The light switch of the bathroom should be inside the bathroom to avoid waking up everybody in the room
Missing curtains in the bunk beds
