im disappointed

its mentioned toiletries are provided and wifi, but when i ask for it ,they said im asking too much, stayed there for 10hrs only i paid full price and i even add 1000slr for the ac room since I didn’t notice that the first room is just a fan

Tasty breakfest, location close to the sea, host family was kind, welcoming, prepared a tea when we arrived, give us advices, arranged airport transfer for us.

I was disapointed by approach of the host within payment - we asked for bill in srilankan rupies instead of dolars. Final price did not match with the price on booking, later we asked for explanation… used exchange rate was about 20% higher than was in real, and also we were charged 10% service charge ( explained as helping to carry our bags to car). Also I was asked maybe I do not need my balance back because we are anyway leaving the country so I will not need rupies anymore…… Fair to say that after our complaint we got some money back in the end. The room was okay, but there was AC without remote, webathroom was not part of the room ( was on the hall), there was no toilet paper, also later when checking information on booking I have also find out we got different room from the one we have booked ( we booked deluxe room, with AC, on booking pictures it looked way different from the one we got) Overall I was disapointed because the family looked welcoming, very kind, but the payment really fed me up.

Comfortable beds, warm shower, delicious food, very good-natured hosts.

The hosts actively offered their services, and we, without specifying the cost, agreed without question. They cooked us two delicious dinners, took us to the market, then drove us to the beach and organized a shuttle to the airport. However, the cost of these services was much higher than we would have guessed. To understand: we lived 2 nights and paid $ 60 for the room, and $ 200 for services. Unfortunately, I did not take a picture of the bill, but the prices differed from the average by 1.5-3 times depending on the service. I think that first of all it was my mistake not to ask the price of services, but the owners should also have warned that their service is not cheap. The kindness of the Lankans relaxed us at the end of the trip and we had such an embarrassment. Don't repeat our mistakes and check the price in advance.

Our stay was just amazing. The host was super nice. Our room was so big and the air conditioning worked very good (we got upgraded) The breakfast was just amazing we don't have words for that. We got everything that we could imagine. The beach was close, they showed us the way for the perfect sunset. They were super helpful with everything. You got a nice rooftop super clean rooms and a nice beach view! We definitely recommended the stay!! Thank you so much for having us!

it''s a beautiful house. Family is very kind and helped us to get from airport to place. next day drived us to ocean, showed a good places. also found a good driver for next 1 week in Sri Lanka. food was very tasty. i recomend it!

clean, helpful, friendly - with a big heart!!

It was a pleasure for me to stay at the Villa. The Owner of the house Christy & his wife are very friendly and helpfull with everything all the time. I stayed there the first night and decided to stay one more, because Christy was helping me with organising my trip, finding the best and savest way to travel through the country. I was also invited to a family party cause of Sri Lanka Idependet Day. Accomodation was very clean, breakfast has more friuts you can eat. Will come back on my way home again!

Treated like one of the family from start to finish.

Was greeted and treated like a member of the family, nothing was too much trouble. From lifts to the best beach walks to a trip to the nearby swimming lagoon, meeting his lovely family, throwing me a bbq party (with added karaoke.. 😄) and just being all round attentive. And the food was just amazing, cooked by his lovely wife.
