Enjoy lake breezes, large front and back yards with trees, and the perfect Northern Michigan vacation location in this 4 Bedroom, 1 1/2 Bathroom ranch style home. All the furniture was replaced in 2023. Just two long blocks down the hill to Manistee’s First Street beach and boat ramp, two doors down from Manistee Country Club (public access), and 1/2 mile to the Manistee Riverwalk. This home in a quiet
neighborhood can sleep up to eight people. Four bedrooms include new memory foam beds: King in Bedroom #1, Queen in Bedroom #2, Queen in Bedroom #3, Two Fulls in Bedroom #4. There is also a large living room to relax in, dining room with LED lighting and small kitchen. In addition, the basement rec room has LED lighting, a Smart TV with video game capability, and a pool table. Two-car garage, off-street parking, ceiling fans in each room, a window AC unit in the living room and WiFi Access. Pets considered for a fee.

The house was perfectly located close to the park and downtown. We enjoyed being able to sit outside watching the wildlife and bbqing! Looking forward to a return trip.

Had a great time in this property. Close to parks, beach, and shopping. I really liked all 4 bedrooms were on main floor. I will consider staying here again.

Our week in Manistee was great! The house was spacious for a ranch and had plenty of room for all 8 adults. The house was so close to the beach and parks. Shops and restaurants were just a few blocks away. We had a great Family vacation!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property is in a great location in Manistee, a half-block across from the golf course. It is in a very nice neighborhood with large beautiful lawns. It's walking distance from the beach and playground. The house has plenty of room and a beautiful living room with ample space. The bathroom is new and very clean. We enjoyed the nice layout of the house and the quiet surroundings.

Ideally located close to the country club, walkable to the beach and the Frisbee golf course. Laundry worked well. Deer could be seen everywhere around the house. Very fun stay.

The house is nice but the furniture and bedding is a little dated. It is time to replace the couches, chairs and beds. Might recommend a room Or whole house AC system. Newer towels would be helpful. I understand the challenges of renting out a family home.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very old, worn our furniture. Holes in chairs, dining room chair had extremely wobbly leg, toilet seat broken and nearly off, broken tile at entrance to bathroom, breezeway doors did not lock, no curtains would close all the way, had to put chairs in front to hold them closed, bathroom had see through bamboo blinds that were tied so that they would not lower all the way (elevated about an inch or two above bottom of window). Anyone could look in!

The house was in an ideal location for my friends and I for our annual fishing trip and golf outing. The house is dated inside, but not a deal breaker for us. There was food leftover from the previous renters that was molding in the cupboard. On our first night, we were up early to fish and saw mouse droppings. I called the rental place and they did send someone out soon to set traps (that trapped two). The back bedroom was not twin beds like we thought, but old metal folding cots that were not comfortable. I was very surprised to not get a follow up phone call by the rental company to see if there was something else they could do for us.

We loved the location of this house as it was close to the water and very nice to walk around from to check out the area. There was plenty of room for us to stay here. A few suggestions for improvements would be… the musty snell was a bit much, and took some air freshener and a few days to air out. The Kitchen could use more dishes and we actually went out to buy a pan that we could cook in as cooking breakfast was a challenge given the pans available. The half bath is actually in the basement and had no toilet paper. Overall, our stay was decent, and the amenities could be easily improved. Our host was kind enough to let us check out later and check in was very easy and accommodating.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house had plenty of room. The only thing that I really had a complaint about was there was a smell in one of the bedrooms. It wasn't constant but ever no and then it would stink. I called management and it subsided. Also maybe put some more dishes in property like bowls and plates. Overall we were happy with property and was close to beaches.

This house is very outdated, and could use some sprucing up. some rooms have a "cat smell" but for the location and how much room you get at this house it's great. The beach is a little walk away, not very practical for older couples with how far you have to walk to the beach. All in all this house could be an awesome rental but it looks like no money has been put into this house to make it a amazing place to stay.
