I spent the winter months (4) here in this quiet neighborhood . Beautiful view of the changing scenery of the Sandia mountains. A herd of 9 mule deer routinely (about 1-2 times a week)marched single file through the rear of the property. A variety of bird life including the quail of the name of the road. The Pinot trail is a 2 mile walk or 2 minute drive away. The Sandia tramway is minutes away by car.

This is our second time at Max's house. We love the location, the openness of the house and the neighborhood. Max was very accommodating. Perfect for our family. We had a great time.

We enjoyed our month stay in this very comfortable, well-stocked home in an established neighborhood. Everything we needed was in a 10 minute drive and we determined that most everything in Albuquerque was only 20 minutes away. Great hiking and biking (you can hike to the hikes), a lovely view of the mountains, and a family of deer wander through the back alley (not the yard) most mornings and evenings. Would stay again.

We have been to ABQ numerous times for extended stays and absolutely love this neighborhood in the Sandia foothills, close to hiking, with great views of the mountains out the windows. We stayed for 6 weeks, so several things are very important: the master bed was very comfortable and the showers were plenty hot with great pressure. The kitchen was well stocked with all the pots, pans, bowl, knives etc you could ever use, and the pantry had plenty of spices and some of the basics, too. Beyond that, the pictures were accurate and tell the story. The living room is plenty big, and that’s where we hung out most of the time. Max was a great host, came over right away to help us when we were figuring out the fireplace (which was great for some chilly February evenings), and was always responsive.

The property was really well appointed and we adored the setting. Sitting on the back patio and enjoying the wildlife and peaceful surroundings was breathtaking. Thank you for a lovely experience, and a very accommodating house manager - Max!

Our family of 5 stayed a month and could not say enough about the property! The house is well laid out with very comfortable common areas. The rooms were just what we needed and the backyard views are memorable. Most evenings you could see the storms roll in over the mountains and the deer had a well traveled path just outside the back fence which made wildlife sightings very fun. Communication with the house manager was easy. Also, staying in the Heights was the way to go. The views are amazing and the temps are lower with the land about 1000 ft higher in elevation than by the interstate. We already want to return and we just left!
