This house was perfect for our week stay in the vineyard. The house had everything we needed, close walk to town, great supplies in the kitchen. The bikes were an added bonus for us! Thank you for providing a great house.

Great little cape cod. Wonderful location, home very well equipped for families with children of all ages with all things families may need from porta crib to beach toys. House is barely 10 min walk to town yet deck is very private. Very well equipped kitchen. Just lovely.

We had a great time! The instruction book was very helpful and well written. The house was stocked with everything for the beach. There were 4 adults and 2 children and plenty of room for all of us. Communication with owner was excellent! We would definitely stay here again and recommend it!

Great location close to downtown VH, with the supermarket, ferry and buses nearby, yet in a quiet lovely residential neighborhood. We loved cooking in the well- equipped kitchen and grilling on the spacious deck surrounded by birds and greenery. Beds were extremely comfortable! Communication with our host was excellent and the outdoor shower with hot and cold water was wonderful after the beach. We took the quality beach chairs on the buses to explore the whole island, including Aquinnah. We loved our stay, and were so sad to leave, but we can’t wait to return!

Pleasant stay
This was our first time staying in MV. We chose to visit after Labor Day to skip the summer crowds and it did not disappoint us, the weather was still warm and there were plenty of interesting places to visit. The house is cozy and has enough room for a family 6-7 people, the owner has made efforts to stock cleaning supplies, beach items, bikes, etc. we enjoyed the close proximity to Vineyard Haven Main Street although the Look Street Road tends to be noisy in the early morning. If you are looking for a trendy place to stay, look elsewhere in Edgartown or Oak Bluff.

Nice stay but....
My family rented this house for two weeks. The morning we checked out, we cleaned the house because we wanted to leave it as we found it even though we knew the cleaners will come and do a thorough cleaning, which we paid for included in our contract with the owner. We travel a lot and we know to take pictures and videos whenever we leave a house. We sent a thank you note to the owner along with pictures and videos just to make sure that we left her house neat. This is just curtesy.
A day later, we were surprised to receive a note from the owner saying that the cleaners charged her extra because the house was left in such a mess that they spent hours and hours cleaning it. The owner said she will keep some of the security money. We were appalled and shocked. We re-sent the pictures of all the rooms and along with the videos to show the state of the house as we left. The owner apologized to us and gave us back our security deposit.
Aline Cleaners Inc., the cleaning company that services the house, made up a story just to scam us for more money but unfortunately, the videos and photos proved them wrong.
This is not an honest company. Be aware of their deceptive practices. I would not hire them for cleaning.
Even though we enjoyed staying in this house, we were disappointed by what transpired after we checked out.

Well Kept Secret!
We were lucky enough to visit in July for 3 open days between a couple of weekly bookings. It's a perfect location to walk down town for coffee in the morning, go for a little jog along the water, sit on the back porch and read a book, enjoy the boats as you dine at the Black Dog or other restaurants and of course an evening stroll for an ice cream. Owner is very willing to make your stay enjoyable and has made numerous upgrades in the past couple of years. Not our 1st stay and plan on many more. RRY and MJY

Clean, comfortable, cozy and great location
Regarding: 19 Look Street in Vineyard haven, MA
Home of Darlene Webb
We have had several people including friends, clients and family stay in
Darlene’s Home on 19 Look Street.
Everyone has always commented on how clean, comfortable and cozy her home is to live in while visiting and enjoying the Island.
They all also comment on the great location with easy access to town with shops, restaurants and the ferry.
One other important factor to the location of the house on Look Street is good availability to local transportation
to other towns, beaches etc, when you are here without a car.
From all accounts, it is a great place to stay.

Perfect location!
We just finished our stay at this lovely home and thoroughly enjoyed it! The house has so much charm and a great amount of space.
The location is so convenient to downtown Vineyard Haven that you could easily stay with no car and still have a great time! A 10 minute leisurely stroll gets you to all the shops and restaurants of downtown VH and public transportation. Just a bit farther to Owen Park beach. A short walk in the opposite direction takes you to the Tisbury School, which has a great playground to entertain the kids.
My biggest concern prior to going was the lack of linens provided, but we went online to Takemmy Linen and got everything we needed. They even deliver to and pick up from the house!
This is truly a gem and a great bargain on the Vineyard! Highly reccommend!
