Great hotel, large room and comfy beds

The reception staff were friendly
There was poo smears in the toilet and the seat was dirty. The bed was uncomfortable and the cotton count of bed linen was poor. I left after a couple of hours to stay at another hotel. Wasted my money.

The breakfast was cold the rooms are in need of a freshen up although comfortable

Unable to get what we wanted for breakfast as there was a bus full of kids and they just stuffed their pockets with food
Staff need to be aware what is going on in the room

room was a nice size, staff were amazing... brilliant customer service, recommended restaurants along the marina and ordered a taxi for us. we also ate from the grill bar when we first arrived and the Nachos were to die for.. we used the spa facilities and loved this area.
only deducted one point as the Jacuzzi was out of order and the pool alittle cold. as a disabled lady i am not as active as an able bodied person so struggled to stay warm. but we hope these matters will improve for our next stay in the new year,

Situation and car park.
Rooms okay. We’ve stayed here before a few times but last time was 2019. It doesn’t seem as good as it was. Looks a bit tired - rooms and general areas.
Iron and hairdryer supplied are good.
It’s okay but overpriced for what is offered. I
Expensive for what was on offer.
Barely any insulation from floor above - noise of footsteps late at night, voices etc. really loud at times.
Tea and coffee in room no where near as much choice as previous stays.
Lighting in room appalling for make up!
Breakfast was okay but not good enough for second day - we are going elsewhere.

Good location and friendly staff, especially breakfast crew.
Myself and multiple other guests woken up just after 6am with loud music from the gym each morning. Looking at a previous reviews this issue has been brought to their attention but not resolved. Got out the shower and was relaxing when suddenly 3 members of staff appeared outside the window with a ladder laughing and joking. Some notice of maintenance would have been nice! Can't say with these experiences it was worth the price.

very spacious, staff went above and beyond after an altercation with another guest and can’t thank them enough for all their help, next visit I would deffo book again and highly recommend too

The food in the pub restaurant (fish n chips) was poor, paid £60 for two meals and a bottle of wine
The fish had far too much batter, was on the dry side as were the chips and the mushy peas

Style and Cleanliness.
Helpful staff getting me checked in asap due to commitments on the day.
Nothing to dislike. I wasn’t expecting the gym to be at additional cost.

good location, good facilities, free parking.
We arrived on a Saturday afternoon Rugby day so it was packed which was fine. After a long wait to order drinks and food (not enough staff in the bar) the compute system crashed and they lost our order. when my husband went up to check on our food the waitress laughed , said his order was lost and to go to the back of the queue- he didn’t. We ordered a two wraps, one veggie as I’ve been veggie for over 30 years. when it came they looked fine but when I bit mine they had brought two chicken wraps as a mistake. The TV didn’t work, sockets didn’t work. inside if the hairdryer drawer was really dirty and the chair in the room was STINKING with bits of food and god know what else from previous guests. The Manager came to see us, didn’t understand why I was so upset and offered us a free drink as an apology. We left then to go to go to our party. we booked a late checkout as we don’t often get away but we’re awoken by housekeeping knocking the door, we then went to put the TV on but it didn’t work. the adjoining sockets didn’t work either. Inside the drawer that the hairdryer was in was really dirty and the chair in the room was STINKING with remanents of previous guests food and other stuff!!! When we were leaving we complained to the same Manager, she apologised and said she’d send someone to check the room, promised to refund the additional charge we paid for late checkout and said she’d process a partial refund. unfortunately nothing since. Would never stay in this place again, obviously understaffed with really low standards and no genuine customer care.
