Excellent location for a work trip. Beautiful building and grounds.
There was some noise from the lounge / restaurant underneath the room but it didn’t go on late and didn’t disturb my stay.
4.1
Nice large room
Room was cooler than would have liked but understandable because of building type but maybe portable heater or something could be available

Was told I was too early for breakfast @ 7:30am and made to feel a little uncomfortable
Evening meal was poor. Overcooked pork replaced for me and another guest then replaced with the smallest fish and chips you could find. Clearly the chef was unhappy that we had sent back the pork.

Very comfortable bed. Lovely breakfast and very welcoming to dogs if you want them to accompany you. Easy to find, more than ample car parking and situated in very pretty countryside.
4.1
Breakfast and dining facilities excellent. Staff friendly and engaged. Great location for days tours driving around the area.

The room was dirty round the ledges, door

Loved the clean towels every day and the breakfasts.
Happy with the size and comfort of the room.
I would have liked to have tissues in the room.
There is dome nouse transfer between the rooms in the barn.

The price
The WiFi was awful and it meant I couldn't do any work which was really important for me. The TV kept losing signal too. It was hot and stuffy in the room and you could hear loads of noises through the night from other rooms so I barely slept.

Excellent reception staff when we arrived and lush facilities
We had a dog barking in the room next to us in the morning when it's owners went for breakfast. I had to go and get a message passed to them but it woke us up. I would recommend that if dogs are allowed in rooms, they're not allowed to be left alone in there as it was quite annoying.

Lovely staff, lovely breakfast, lovely quiet room. We were in the Lanhydrock room and the bed was huge and very comfortable. Very dog friendly which is a great bonus, he was even allowed to accompany us to breakfast.
Water pressure for the shower was a bit low, but that isn’t too unusual for Cornwall.

I travel a lot for work and stay in hotels regularly, if this was nearer to where I work I would defiantly use it all the time, but sadly its not. The room far exceeded our expectations, it was clean, tidy, comfy with a lovely seating area. We ate at the hotel in the evening, we only had a main course, but the menu choice was excellent, and so different from the usual fling and ping food, the presentation of the food and the taste were both exquisite, and the portion size was just right. Will defiantly be going back next time I am in Cornwall, even if only for a meal.

Useful location, easy to find

Good sized room and good sized bathroom. Very accommodating for our dog too. Facilities were good in the room and the continental breakfast was very nice. The hotel was great value for money, just a bit 'tired'.
Nothing. One of the brown leather easy chairs did not stay upright! i.e was broken.

Good food
The room was part of a 1 up 1 down flat but the drains ran through ceiling so when flushed above it sounded below . Booking. Com gave a very discounted price but the tariff shown was ridiculously high for what was offered

We stayed here as part of our motorbike touring holiday. The size of the room was more than expected.
The food was excellent. Everything is cooked to order so you need to expect a bit of a wait. But it was, worrh the wait.

Not very attentive at breakfast. Very rushed.

The room ( courtroom suite) was exceptionally large and well laid out
breakfast was excellent and dinner was superb
Staff very helpful and knowledgeable of the best places to visit

Bed was bigger than expected and very comfortable.
Location was easy to find and parking was very accessible.
Bath was quite dirty, I had to rinse dust and hair out of it before using it. It also was quite unmaintained around the bath tub, crack in the tile where the accessable handle was, and cracks/gaps in the grout which just didn't make it feel that safe!
Decor was quite outdated.
Flush didn't work properly.
We booked because it was dog friendly but after reading the manual it's an extra £10 per dog per night. This should definitely be added via online booking. As we arrived late and left early the dog just slept in the car.
We also arrived just before 9pm and saw the restaurant was only open 6-8:30pm, then reading the the booklet there was ANOTHER charge for bringing your own food into public areas!
We had to leave early so didn't get breakfast so can't comment on that.

The Courtroom Suite is so large and has a very comfortable bed. It was a free upgrade which we greatly appreciated! A free sausage for the dog at breakfast was a lovely touch. The room was nice and clean.
The staff were really friendly, however the communication was a bit hit and miss, and left us confused at times e.g. waiting to check in because the hotel booking system had got it wrong, but not being told what was happening with staff running off to sort that, as well as other things, at least 5 times with nothing communicated to us. It was a bit frustrating but the room and overall experience made up for it.

The owners of the hotel were very approachable and nothing was too much trouble along with the other staff were also very friendly. We stayed 3 nights and the Breakfast each morning was excellent and staff were happy to adapt choices for us. I am Coeliac gluten free and the breakfast menu and dinner menu all items are mainly gluten free and they prepare all food freshly. we stayed in the Wade bridge double room which was cosy and bed was very comfortable. We very much enjoyed our stay and we will return in the future. thank you for a lovely stay. great value for money as well.
The Bathroom could do with a an update as a bit tired but not all that bad.

Very welcoming very clean meals very good wide choice at breakfast . Good service and cooked to order lovely conservatory for breakfast light and overlooking the garden. Staff were all very helpful . Lovely location . lovely old character building . Very easy free parking.
single mattress very shaped and well used so for me not very comfortable . Mattress heavy so wonder when it was turned Probably used as chair to watch TV no chair in room only stool. access to open sash window very difficult as bed very close to window wall and at times window was very hard for me to open but the staff were responsive and tried to address it. But is a potential for back injury with the position and lack of easy access. Bedside wall lights but controls cannot be reached from bed .
