Lovely hotel, nice staff, confortable rooms

Nice comfortable rooms. Twin room comprised of two doubles, which was brilliant.

Would have preferred better breakfast choice. Scrambled eggs were on the dry side.

It was a good stay although I felt that the blocked sink should have been attended too when I raised

The Staff were friendly and the room was clean apart from the Sink.

Mu bathroom sink was blocked. I asked for it to be cleared but this was not done

Suitable for our visit

Stayed here several times, suits the purpose of our visit. Self service breakfast, so choose what you like, as much as you want. Not far to walk to the shopping area.

Disappointed

The takeaway hot chocolate

We arrived at the international hotel on a Friday, when we arrived it was apparent that an event was talking place at the international center as the hotel was very busy. We were greeted by the staff then give our rooms key. When the booking was made I specifically requested a crib as I was traveling with my two small babies. Unfortunately when we arrived at the room there was no crib. We then asked the hotel staff for this which to my surprise was presented with a carry cot which was not fit for purpose. Myself and my husband had to re adjust the room where we put the two twin beds together in order for us to lay in the bed with our two babies. The room itself was very standard and definitely not good value for money. There was a standard 15 inch lcd tv which was difficult to connect. Some of the sockets were not working also. This was very disappointing. In the morning we visited the restaurant for the continental breakfast where we were offered only bacon and beans. There was very little variety which was again disappointing. The following morning my husband had to make A trip out of the hotel, on his return he was approached aggressively by a hotel staff who stated that we could not park in a blue badge space. This was discriminatory as the staff had not seen if we had a blue badge, but just assumed that we were parking in a disabled bay for the sake of it. We are blue badge holders and this was extremely disappointing as the staff member could have gone to the car and seen a visible blue badge rather than making an assumption. This was a complete put off and will not recommend this hotel, the facilities and amnesties are very standard and is not worth the price in which it’s advertised.

Comfy good value great staff

Easy to get to and simple check in from helpful staff. Beds and pillows exceptionally comfortable slept so well and great WiFi. Breakfast was also excellent just right more than just a continental

Very disapointing and not value for money.

Close to the venue we were attending.

We had a ground floor accessibility room which was fine but the sink was so low it was awkward to use. There was a lack of hooks and shelving on which to put clothes and toiletries. Rooms were not being serviced which meant replenishing of loo rolls or tea/coffee supplies. Breakfast as a vegetarian was a big let down. The only hot food available for veggies was the slightly warm baked beans. Boiled eggs were available but they were chilled and in the fridge. Not a great start to the day.

Could have been better

When I reported the issues in my room I was moved with no issues at all no questions asked staff were very friendly and even offered to help move my clothes etc from one room to the other

When I arrived reception could not find my booking I had to prove this by showing my hotel.com reservation it was clear that the hotel did not have the details of this. I was then put into a room that was very very cold it was clear the heating was not working and the smell of damp was unbearable. There was dust in the dressing table by the tv it looked like the areas dusted were the areas that could be seen not the areas that you would go looking behind ie behind the tv. The soap scum of the shower Pipe was disgusting too but I did report all of this when I asked to be moved rooms due to the smell The breakfast area could be a bit better organised when there is a high volume of guests

Comfy bed, good bathroom & shower. Each room has an iron and ironing board.

No bag in the bathroom bin. No housekeeping until you check out. No plug points next to the bed. No net curtains at the window.

Disappointing

Convenient location. Easy parking.

Pillows were rock hard. Breakfast was a poor choice - beans and bacon only. Not enough seating in restaurant. Had to wait.

Great locatuon next door to the conference ecntre

comfy room very close to where we needed to be, breakfast was buffet style and a good variety, not many pastries though. Staff are very friendly and informative and helpful. Free parking on site with electric points, these are not in use yet but will be great when ready!

Noisy doors opening and closing through the night/early hours, small cramped shower, old tired furniture although the bed was comfy. long waits for the lifts at busy times

Excellent value for money and would return and recommend to others.

The room exceeded our expectations and was excellent value for money

The breakfast stated continental and there could have been a greater choice of cold meats and cheeses. One additional choice of hot food such as sausages would have been beneficial. Overall the breakfast satisfied our needs. We understand that for a two night stay why room service was not provided for the first morning when considering the cost of the accommodation.

It was fine for our stay as we only needed to sleep there.

It was nice having breakfast included in the price

I asked for a wheelchair accessible room, the room was on the 2nd floor - if there was a fire alarm not being able to use the lifts would mean it would be virtually impossible to get my mum down the stairs. The bathroom wasn't really accessible for a wheelchair and she definitely couldn't use the shower.

Good clean hotel, decent breakfast, good facilities in hotel.

Room was good size, clean and had what we needed. Breakfast was good. Staff helpful

we stayed in 473, the room was little dark. Bedside light bulb went whilst we were there, we didnt ask for it to be changed. not a major problem. Showerhead needed descaling.

Adequate but could do better.

The room was clean and comfortable and convenient for the International Centre next door, but fairly basic.

The breakfast is very basic and there is no fridge or other facilities in the room to keep food/drink cold or make a decent cup of coffee.
