Just about adequate for what we needed. Would not recommend.

Room was dingy and small. No where to put anything in the bathroom. Was also stuffy, thank goodness for the air on. We were charged extra to use the car park because we didn’t book direct. Why does it matter who we booked through? Just another way to make money.

Big shower, nice toiletries

Air con didn’t work, odd layout of bathroom meant had to sit ‘side-saddle’ in toilet. Lumpy bed.

Shower seal missing flood bathroom when used Cobwebs in bathroom Big lamp adrift ,screws missing dangerous Toilet seat very loose No main light ,very dim in bedroom .

We like that it's in the town centre. Staff are friendly it has parking and it's close to our family, we have stayed here a few times.

Very central to location. Amazing staff. Rooms are easy accessible from the car park. Bed is comfy.

The receptionist was extremely helpful and check in was simple The location was excellent, close to the High Street but very quiet Parking was free and secure

W had no hot water for a shower in the morning

wanted to stay longer but was let down by the room.

The location.

The air con was not working, and the heating in the bathroom was permanently on and could not be turned down which made it uncomfortable to sleep. stains on the ceiling and room could do with some painting.

Easy to find, great on-site parking. Very friendly staff.

Soap and shampoo dispensers in shower were empty. First shower was hot but second luke-warm. TV was rather small (larger one would be easier to watch from bed.

Location, accommodation and service were all up to the usual standard - however there was a small niggle which I will outline in the 'what didn't you like' dialogue.

A new policy (started Feb 2023) means those using the car park will be charged £4 if the booking was not made direct with the hotel. As a regular visitor, I was used to free parking. When I made my booking here this was not disclosed, so I view this as a cheeky bit of stealth taxation on what was already quite an expensive room.

ok for short stay in Berkhamsted.

very convenient, comfortable rooms, friendly staff

small details re housekeeping, eg bathroom bins broken (we informed at previous stay & always the same story) Bedside light not working (should be checked before each stay) Extra charge for having room serviced is unfair.

Although very tired looking it suited our needs and the lady at the reception was very helpful and cheery

The location was great for being near Warner Bros studio Tour, also plenty of places to eat around the area, lovely canal walks

It needs some TLC

Location is fab, carpark. Staff are friendly

We have stayed here 4 times now, the last 2 in the same room coincidentally, 35. The shower is on a hand mixer and is impossible to control. It's so hot you can't get under it. You adjust a millimetre, and it goes stone cold. Then back to boiling. All the bathrooms need thermostatic shower bars.

We checked out after one night due to some of the mattresses being lumpy and springs could be felt, staff dealt with us

It was a impulse late booking and was a treat. We would definitely make a return booking.

In a great and central location with Incredibly friendly and welcoming staff. Rooms are a good size and clean.

Some minor marks on the wall in the corridors and my room had a dripping tap but nothing major.

Lovely hotel, could just do with a bit of updating. The paint work was all chipped and just felt a bit unloved

Convenient but I could not recommend this hotel.

The location was ideal and the hotel has secure car parking.

The room is very basic, tiny TV, the carpet in the room was unclean and notably stained. The sound insulation in the room is really poor.
