Very bad service espeically the front desk guy. food presenting looking fine but not tasty at all.
Website photos are much nicer but it is inact an very old hotel. the look is old and feels old. Service is just not making anyone feeling welcome or supportive for guests.

Premium Room is large and facing mt Fuji.
Onsen is very basic with one indoor and one outdoor. No additional cold dip, or different temperatures pools. You will need to pay to fill your ice bucket, or if you like juices or coffee for your breakfast( from vending machine), and massage chair outside onsen.

Great location and the hot springs were lovely. Well appointed large rooms with fridge etc. staff were lovely and ask about transfers to and from the hotel.
We aren’t used to traditional Japanese rooms and whilst a novelty for a few nights, we may have struggled for much longer. Has to be experienced though.

The hotel was right on Lake Kawaguchiko. We jogged along the lakeside walking path at sunrise and found some beautiful views of Fuji-San as the day began. The room was well equipped and the Futons were comfortable and the staff was courteous.
Our bathroom drain was somewhat plugged. The tub drained very slowly and backed up into the floor drain of the bathroom. Onsen on the premises not available for us as we both have small tattoos. The hope the Japanese hospitality industry evolves away from this custom of excluding tattooed guests

I really am happy with how traditional this Ryokan was! I knew what I was booking before I arrived. I was surprised with how old the place looks but that added to the immersion of a traditional Japanese ryokan. I felt like I went in time to the good old days.
I had such good memories here even though we only stayed a night. You get traditional clothes and the robe to put over the yakuta. In the morning it’s a traditional breakfast with lots of small seasonal dishes. I really wish I stayed longer here.
I constantly look back at this hotel and the night we stayed. It’s so dreamy and it was my favorite hotel by far! It’s old and dated but the experience is worth it.
I didn’t like that the onsen wasn’t available to use in the morning. Some Indian staff said we couldn’t use it when clearly on paper it said it was open at the time we went.

We were so lucky to get this place and room, at building's corner overlooking both the big lake and mount fuji from the same window. The service was superb and the meals were out of our expectation. Highly recommend to include the two meals in your booking. The onsen is inhouse, just that we were not feeling too well for that during our stay. One more recent to come back next time :)
It seems the staff could communicate better in Japanese. Be prepared to have a good translating machine or in our case, my friend speaks the language so all good.

The property was really good, the view from the room was really good too, you can see from the left Lake Kawaguchiko and on the right Mount Fuji. The onsen and provided breakfast were really good too. Nice and quiet place.
Didn’t like the property where they don’t check their emails regularly and communication has been poor. The guy’s name Kajiwara at front reception has particularly rude to non Japanese speaking guest, there was a confusion with the booking.com for the number of people booked for the night and he didn’t offer any help to resolve the issue until one of his colleagues took over and help me dial the phone number to booking.com in Japan. Booking.com understood the problem and rectified it with the hotel and we managed to check in after 2 hours at the reception.

コスパがとても良い
社用で泊まるので、領収書はマストであるが、どのようにもらえるのか不明(現地女性のスタッフも無理と塩対応)

The view from the room, and spacious and comfortable room. Fairly close to the main tourist area. We also like the shuttle bus service they provided us. The bath was also a plus!
The changing area of the public bath was old and dated.

Great location by the lake, our room with clear views of Mount Fuji from all windows. Staff very helpful. Very clean room, with complete amenities including kimono and formal robes.

On-site onsen and traditional room.
Paid extra for breakfast, there was absolutely nothing we could eat as vegetarians, they wouldn't even offer any plain rice or a refund for the extra cost.
3.4
The Japanese room was extra big, view to the Fuji mountain.
The hallways look like college dorms and they look kinda messy, keys to the door. The hotel needs updates. Wasn't satisfied with cleanliness but it's because the hotel wasn't updated.
3.4
The Onsen is superb. The room is pretty big. We book the room for futon bed and it's soft and cozy. The hotel has shuttle bus service but you need to ask the information center to coordinate with the hotel, if you cannot speak Japanese.
Communication is the major problem. They won't reply anything you ask, if you didn't use Japanese and that make you feel insecure about your booking. The staffs can speak English but it seems they don't want to talk anything with you. Compare to Japanese service standard, this is totally diifferent!

If you are Indian don’t go to this place , staff treat us like we are nothing , noisy very noisy
