What I liked the most about this hotel was the exceptional service from the staff, who were consistently attentive and friendly, ensuring all my needs were met throughout my stay.

The first person we met on reception was very kind, welcoming and attentive - recognised that he had us waiting due to another customer preceding us - so he apologised for the delay (not his fault as he was alone serving customers), brought us hand cleaning towels, drinks and sorted out our paperwork whilst we were sat and relaxed a little. This was certainly the best reception welcome I have received to date upon all my travel to six continents!

the room

The location was ideal for our onward journey.
The accommodation was a bit run down and could have done with a deep clean. We were a family booking but our rooms were spread across different floors and we couldn't travel between floors on our specific room pass. We were only given 1 room pass which meant that when my husband left to give my daughter and mother in law items from our cases, my other daughter and I had to wait in darkness for him to return with the key card.

Good location in Upper Hills
poor maintenance, bad beds. Rooms fairly ok

- didn't have time for breakfast
-
- the quick menu offering could be a little larger with a few diversified items such as toasties etc.

High quality rooms, high quality breakfast, and extremely professional staff. A special mention goes to Veronica, who kindly satisfied any request about my accomodation and travel necessities.

Ontbijt was ala-card and perfectly served with more than enough choice. All staff were very friendly and helpful.
Rate for late check-out and early check-in was reasonable
Light in bath room was broken. But fast repair was there.

nice stuff
we ordered room for 4 and we got room for 3, so 9 years old slept with us. the restaurant was really not good; received the entry after an hour and the steak smell bad…

It was clean and well-run, and the staff were always pleasant and hospitable
There was no way to control the heating or to make my room warmer. The key card also needed reactivation at least once every day.

Breakfast was ok. But this hotel is on its last legs and will probably cease business in this year

Fine hotel in the financial district. For visits there it is perfectly acceptable. There is a big gym and a small pool. The people, as everywhere in Kenya, we’re very nice.
The gym had a sign that it was closed, but it was open. That was confusing, it should not be difficult to take down the papers on the door and the sign. The gym had fairly old equipment, but overall worked.

Cleanliness was excellent. Bed very comfortable.
Lack of transparency re costs. You need to be clearer on how you are charging for e.g. breakfast. Please state clearly that guests have a choice of a la carte or breakfast buffet - and list the costs for both. Basically I felt that you were overcharging for everything. I would not want to stay there again. Also please don't call me by my last name - it isn't polite! My name is Liz.
