Loved the thermal pools and excellent location.

The grounds of the hotel were a little oasis away from the hustle and bustle of Pana! The rooms were basic but still good. Close walking distance to restaurants and market shops
Decor was a little dated but still comfortable!

The location felt pretty central. The spa was great, both my friend and I had amazing massages. The hot springs were cool too, but only used those briefly.
Breakfast was great especially since it was included in the cost.
Rooms were a bit hot but that’s standard for Guatemala I guess.

Great location!
The security guard at night was rude.

I stay there for the location and the wonderful natural thermal pools
Rooms tend to be dark. Not a lot of options for lighting...either overhead glaring lights or small reading lamps over the beds, which make it quite dark. Used to have ecofilters available to refill your water bottles. Now just one plastic bottle per person creating trash.

Great location in the middle of Panajachel. Walking distance to everything. Clean and large rooms. Good shower water pressure. Staff was friendly. Beautiful property and common areas. Good WiFi.
Rooms were outdated but added to the charm. Poor shower water drainage.

breakfasts. very noisy. bathrooms rundown. hot water needs a 10 minute head start to get comfortably warm. only 1 bottle of water included per day for two people.

Beautiful property, big rooms and excellent staff! We did a Swedish massage and it was wonderful
the shower drain was a bit slow to drain

jacuzzi tubs.
I got bit all night long by insects and spiders. I told them the first night so they changed the sheets and yet failed to spray.

I love this hotel. I was there with family in vacation for 3 nigjts. It was clean, confortable, staff was wonderful and ready to help. What I love more about it, is the quiet and the instalación, full of trees and nature. The back is practically next to a mountain. The temescal and thermal waters are wonderful. The massages were so relaxing.
I did not find anything wrong. The electricity went away, however they have their own plant, so it didn't affect us at all.

clean and great customer service
You have to pay to use the sauna. This should be noted on their website

The staff was nice , breakfast was good, location is very good
For that price, this is a very worn out hotel. In the bathroom the sink is old and broken, it needs urgent a paint job in the bathroom. To be honest we were shocked when we saw it. We came from Antigua where we had a nice room for less money

great stay
security wouldn’t let us have any guests over

Hot spring
Room not that private, we needed to be all the time with the curtain closed

Beautiful and peaceful location and gardens with many birds and flowers, spacious room with comfortable large bed and with some old world charm. Lovely hot pool. Helpful staff.
The sauna was not in operation despite this being advertised both on Booking.com and on the hotel’s own website. They did not know when it will be back in service, but said hopefully in the next few months.. Which seems like a long time for getting it fixed? I wasn’t happy with this, as the sauna was one of my main reasons for booking this place.
For the price you pay per night, breakfast really should be included in the stay. You have to pay extra for it at the moment.
Also, expect some of the interior to be somewhat old and worn, this

grounds were nice and the hot spring was excellent.
The shower did not drain and I ended up with about 4 inches of water after each shower.

The location was the best thing about Hotel Regis.
We actually were disappointed with the room. It didn't have much natural light, so it was dark inside. There was another room on the other side of our villa, and we had to hear the neighbors having loud sex late at night :( Also, I think breakfast should have been included with the price of the room. We had to pay extra.

The staff was very accommodating, and I was allowed to check in early so I could go to a nearby event on time. We traveled with a dog, so we gave notice and paid a fee, and the stay went well. It was a lovely place, at great value and in a good location.
The one thing is the toilet chain was broken when we arrived. I gave notice during checkout (because I had been out all day for the event and hadn't noticed) and was told it would be fixed, which I'm pretty sure they did.

The staff is incredibly kind, my room had the most incredible view, and I felt so incredibly nourished by this truly healing space.

Spa and termal pool. Also pet friendly.
distance to the center of action of Santander Street.
The massage session was very good, however, to book it took me several attempts and calls. This was annoying. Also I booked 60 mins for my husband and the lady did 90 without asking and requested the additional payment, since it was a prepaid session.

Great location and staff.
A bit overpriced.

There is such a great energy to this hotel! The rooms are good size with comfortable beds, hot water and great water pressure!! I got a massage with Yésica and it was amazing
I was bummed that the temazcal was out of order

This location is fantastic. The grounds are lovely and we enjoyed the thermal pools. We also enjoyed a relaxing massage.
I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat breakfast there. The rooms could use a ceiling fan. There are dogs that bark at night (probably an unavoidable part of staying in town)

The access to the hot springs was a great touch. Especially being on the same street as a busy road with shops and restaurants this was hidden away in their beautiful gardens so you were in real tranquility. a nice touch was the spa style music there too.
The rooms were big and the location is great with access to shops, food places and a pharmacy.
I didn’t have breakfast here so I cannot comment on it. But there is a water dispenser near the reception to refill water bottles.
The rooms are very outdated and it’s a shame because the size is great; there’s lots of space for two people to have a full size luggage in the room and a double bed each. But the lighting and windows didn’t let in proper light and made it feel a bit dingy. The bathroom was good but the shower window was broken so potentially people could see into it. the light was also not working but when I reported it they were quick to get it changed.
The floor in the bathroom also had some shoe marks and felt as if it hadn’t been cleaned properly or been cleaned and then walked over leaving outside shoe marks or dirt.
