Location excellent, all instructions provided were precise and clear, met the lady who runs the place in the morning and we had a good laugh together, she was super sweet. Would stay here again anytime 10/10

It was hard to find, I had to ask local businesses how to find it and finding parking was a chore.

Contact-less check-in. Easy to follow instructions on how to enter the guesthouse. Clean, good location. if you just need a place to sleep while you're exploring Iceland, then this is perfect.

Excellent location, paid parking, very cosy and romantic place

Getting out is easy
Worst place ever. Rooms have “paper walls”, meaning that there is no soundproofing at all. People come, go, run up and down the stairs, use the shower at any hour of the day and the night, making sleeping impossible. I notified the keeper, Olga Perla who completely ignored my complaints. I slept barely two hours and I paid more than a 100€ for the worst stay of my life. I asked for a reimbursement and they told me I would have gotten one if I would have deleted this review. I did, and they ignored me since then. This is the way these people work and respect their guests.

Fantastic location! Near everywhere. The staff really takes care of guests, and I got all the check-in info a few days before coming to Reykjavik. The room was big, beautiful, and very cozy, with access to a fine kitchen annex and a clean bath. Comfortable place, definitely the first choice next time. I strongly recommend it!

Old style from old times....i love this places.

location was excellent, check in was great and easy. rooms were cosy and each room had its own sink which was great.
one toilet/bathroom for about 5 rooms. Too high a ratio - getting in to use the toilet or shower was near impossible and we had to wait ages.
They say parking available. not true. expensive on street paid parking is nearby. saying you have parking is misleading.

location is awesome. it locates the city center where I could find plenty bars, restaurants and stores. Bedroom is cozy and warm.
the building’s walls are thin. they are not soundproof so that I heard everything my neighbor did in kitchen after 12 pm

This guest house was in such a great location. It was clean, warm, and had everything you needed. There were two rooms sharing one bathroom, but we did not run into any issues.
It’s a little small and walls are very thin so you have to be respectful of quiet hours, but the location and value made up for this.

Superb location. In the middle of everything but tucked away slightly. Had everything we needed & expected from a small guest house. Had a small issue on arrival as another guest took our room instead of her own, but I called the owner & she sorted it immediately. No problems or issues whatsoever & was very apologetic over the confusion. Which wasn’t her fault by the way!!!! The other guest misread the very clear instructions & room numbers.
I can’t really fault this little house. It was exactly what we wanted & a bit more. Kitchen facilities cover everything you may need & more. If I could say anything that might add value to our room, I would suggest something to play music through. Or a radio!! Not to have a party!!!! Just something in the background to chill out with. Or get u in the mood for dinner & drinks out.

Clear instructions, incredible location!

The self check in as it allowed us to arrived when we wanted at our own time.
We had a very spacious room and it was warm and comfortable.
There is only one bathroom with shower shared between all the occupants of the guesthouse. It's a small enough place and our room had a sink, but still more bathrooms would be great.

A cute little guest house with a great location! Only a short walk to the church, rainbow road and a wide range of food and beverage options for you. The host provided a lot of useful information before our arrival which we really appreciated.

My request to have twin beds in the bedroom was accepted. Location was great, right on Laugavegur.
I arrived late and was surprised there was no reception or staff to talk to. Took a while to hear back from customer service.

Hardly any water in the tap in the room. Only one bathroom for the entire house, and when this is occupied by other guests for a long time it is a bit absurd.

Our room was clean and equipped with towels and fresh sheets. Host sent us the door code before our arrival and getting in was straight forward. It was quiet at night, especially given the tourist-y surroundings.
The room was much smaller than expected. Barely enough room for our suitcases to open on the floor, and to move around them between the bed and door. Would not like to spend any downtime in the room, but it's fine if all you plan to do there is spend the night.

The guesthouse an the room itself was absolutely stunning! We loved every bit of this building. The location in the centre is real advantage if you like to wander around or if you need to catch a bus anywhere.
Olga is a very caring and lovely host, always ready to help if needed.

Location was awesome, it was a little tricky to find but a good, easy contactless entrance system. Had everything we needed. Nice to have a sink in the room.
We were only there for one night and left super early in the morning- it was good value for what we paid, but could use a bit of a facelift. Also the shower leaks all over the floor.
4.1
Quiet room, easy self check in process. Had no issues getting in, but the entrance isn't the easiest to find even with the directions given. Location is fantastic however, you're located close to everything in downtown Reykjavik.
Rooms were very small, and bathrooms were not clean. The room contained a small sink, bed, and chair only. We were in a room on the second floor and the ceiling was so low that you couldn't sit up in the bed without hitting your head.

Great location in Reykjavík and near all the nightlife. Comfortable rooms, too!
Feels like an old house, so it creaks whenever you move--quiet hours definitely make sense
4.1
Super central location, cosy room, comfy bed, clean
Can’t be helped but it is noisy, 1 bathroom 5 rooms

Very old room doors. Too noisy.. Impossible to sleep during the night due to the noisy related to the opening and closing of the room doars
This was so bad
