About this house rental
1720 sqft. of comfort , with a fireplace, big screen TV in the living room , couch and recliners to kick back and relax after a long trip or a hard days work.
The entry has a large closet , perfect for luggage and briefcase storage, in addition to coats and outer ware .
The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator , microwave, dishwasher, stove and oven. Pots, pans , dishes, cooking utensils and silverware are available for meal preparation and the dining table will sit 6 people comfortably.
The upstairs King Suite has a flat screen TV, 2 luggage racks, dresser, night stand and alarm clock. It also features a private full bathroom and a spacious walk in closet.
The upstairs office has a desk, office chair, lamp and includes a two -chair table for planning or just playing a game of cards!
The Queen Suite is located on the main level with a Queen size bed, flat screen TV, luggage rack, dresser , nightstand and a large closet.
Washer and dryer are tucked neatly into a laundry closet and are discretely located at the back of the kitchen .
The back yard has a small Bistro Table and two chairs and a swing to sit and relax in Amarillo’s always changing weather!
When you are booking , you are going to have access to the entire home, including the bedroom of your choice. Both bedrooms are available depending on the number of guests booking the home . The second room can be booked for additional fee. Shower chairs are available upon request .

I have stayed at over 50 VRBO locations and their European equivalent. I have never had a ‘host’ be so rude or so many hairs and cleaning issues as this property. The house is very nice, but definitely not a “10”. It was listed as a 2-bedroom, 2-bath; however, the second bedroom was locked upon our arrival.
Cleanliness: so many hairs in the bedding that I washed the sheets prior to sleeping on them. We arrived about 9:30pm expecting a clean house. Hair in the refrigerator (owner stated it was hers but it was short, black, and curly). The two sponges left on the kitchen sink were worse than I would use for floors. Owner: “I used those to wipe off the counter. My bad for leaving them.” The tub in both bathrooms needing cleaning…not just a wipe-down. I went to Walmart and bought sponges and cleaning supplies. I scrubbed most of the rust and grime from the en-suite bathroom. I finally went to bed about 1:30. No apology from Bonnie, the owner. In fact, she stated “If you are that dissatisfied, we would be happy if you went ahead and left”. The ceiling fans had years of dust. These would have been nice since the single air conditioner doesn’t regulate the two-story dwelling very well. Excuse: they are too high, especially the one in the living room. Facial hair clippings were also in the vanity mirror tracking. I sent the owner a message the first night and she responded three days later.

What a beautiful townhome, tastefully decorated and more than comfortable. Located in a quiet neighborhood and close to everything we wanted to visit. We certainly would stay here again and highly recommend to anyone wanting to experience Amarillo and its surrounding areas.

We enjoyed our stay over the Thanksgiving holiday in this townhome. Very homey feeling! There were a few issues we encountered, but spoke directly with the owner and she is having them fixed. Though we did not spend the bulk of our time in the home, we enjoyed our early mornings and late evenings and slept very well. For the holiday cooking, the kitchen could be stocked better in the utensil and baking department, but we had already anticipated and brought many of our own bakeware and cooking/baking items, just in case. So glad we did!
We definitely plan to stay here again. It is in a great location for our needs. Owner is lovely to work with!

We love this property. We cook all of our meals and this kitchen is fully equipped. The furnishings are comfy and the location is perfect for where we need to be. This was our second visit and we hope we never have to find another on our annual visits to Amarillo.

Wonderfully Quiet
We enjoyed our stay, the entire place is like a home away from home. The beds were so comfy I missed over half a family function we were in Amarillo to attend. I got some much needed rest, the neighborhood is quiet so it came easy. I will stay here again next time. Highly recommend.

Short Stay, Okay
We didn't arrive to the property until after 10pm and perhaps there was a fight of some kind across the street. The moment we arrived, we could hear people shouting at each other and doors being slammed. We hurried inside unsure of the neighborhood. Again, it was dark when we arrived so that could have played into our hesitation.
The place was clean but had a lot of bugs in the upstairs bathroom. We never used the showers/tubs, the washer or dryer or other amenities because this was a stop over and we left early in the morning.

Turns out we had to pay extra if we took the description at face value, which upset me for several reasons. The place was very well decorated. Often visited, looked like most had a good stay.

Absolutely Perfect
We had busy days and so appreciated coming back to this cozy home. The furniture is comfy and it is very generously stocked. The neighborhood is quiet, feels safe, and the location gives easy access to the city. Communication with property manager was great. We have found our “home” in Amarillo when we visit family.

Very close to Palo Duro canyon
The house was much nicer than you would expect when you pull up. It is an average neighborhood but when you open up the doors you can tell the whole house has been updated. Comfy chairs, open spaces. Very, very clean with a large kitchen and big screen TV's. The owner was a pleasure to deal with. Most importantly it was close to Palo Duro canyon. All together it was perfect and if I ever need to stay in the area again I wouldn't consider anywhere else.

This is a nice town home in the middle of the row. It has a convenient ally access in the back of the home to park.
The house is clean and has been updated some from its original state. The kitchen is small but well supplied. The living space is clean and bug free!
Our daughter really appreciated the puzzles and games the owner provides her guests. The owner also furnished the rooms well.
The small backyard isn’t developed if you plan to spend much time outside on the property. The location provides excellent access to I-27 when you are ready to head out for work or pleasure though. We would definitely rent this home again.
