It was a pleasant stay.

The pools are nice and clean. Kids liked the pool. Staff was very polite and friendly, they helped us with all our requests on time. Property is right next to the beach.

Breakfast should be air conditioned place as there were lots of flies sitting on the food.

Great value for money but need some touch-ups

The room we've got had a little jacuzzi / pool which was very nice. The room could also accommodate the entire family of 4 very comfortably. The bathroom was also very big. The food from the restaurant at the pool was really great and tasty. The breakfast was great as well.

The hotel was nice overall although it would need a little refresh of paint here and there. The kids swimming pool needs some upgrades as some tiles were broken and could have been dangerous for the kids. The main pool was good and the other smaller pool was closed for renovation. on the image of the booking for the family room, it was showing a lot of games, fun colors for kids on the bed sheet and a PS4 - which was not part of the room when we arrived.

Einmal und nie wieder. Einfach nur enttäuschend.

Wir hatten ein Upgrade vor Ort - weil es zu einer Doppelbuchung mit unserem tatsächlichen Zimmer kam. Das war super. Das war der auch das einzige. Der Strand war nah und schön. Nur sehr überlaufen und touristisch. Sehr gutes Spa.

Frühstück war qualitativ gut aber eben auch sehr teuer für die Verhältnisse. Wir haben Bar gezahlt, weil wir das mussten (vom Hotel aus), wir haben keine Rechnung bekommen auf Nachfrage hin auch nicht. Beim Checkout wollten die Herrschaften dann das Geld für das Frühstück haben und keiner konnte sich daran erinnern, dass wir das gezahlt haben. (Es geht um eine Zeitspanne von 4 Tagen) Nachdem wir dann endlich mit dem Hotel Manager sprechen konnten wurde es "aus Kulanz" erlassen. Eine Frechheit vor dem Herren. Wir haben gezielt die Leute angesprochen, mit denen wir damals alles besprochen haben und bei denen wir dann gezahlt haben. Leider wurde wir am Ende dumm dargestellt. Aber immerhin mussten wir nicht doppelt zahlen. Der Pool zu unserem Haus war so dermaßen dreckig und veralgt, dass wir Ihn nicht nutzen konnten. Wir haben am 1. Tag bescheid gegeben- am Tag vor unserer Abreise wurde er dann gesäubert. Somit haben wir nur am Tag unsere Abreise und am Abend der Anreise unseren Private Pool nur nutzen können. Zudem war der große Pool der Anlage auch dauerhaft gesperrt wegen Reinigungsmaßnahmen. Die Rutschen waren ebenfalls gesperrt. Das Personal war auch nur so lange nett bis man tatsächlich was von Ihnen wollte. Ebenfalls leider auf das Personal des Spa bezogen.

A big No Go for me.

its a big old hotel, very complicated to walk, horrible architecture .... Restaurant and bars here are very expensive. You will not find a Thai vibe here... Much constriction, renovating, painting going around there, very loud. Many things are not working, like the AC. The photos are 10 times better than the reality.

Очень старательно убирали номер, часто меняли постельное белье, полотенец приносили много.

Номер к нашему приезду был не готов (мы приехали к 8 вечера). В ванной на полу были лужи, лежали полотенца, чтобы вода не потекла в номер. Отелю необходим ремонт. Бассейн ужасный - он большой, но система очистки не работает, поэтому вода мутная. Я даже не пыталась окунуться. Бассейн в номере тоже сломан. Кнопка включения джакузи не работает; если циркуляцию воды не выключить, то невозможно спать - очень сильный шум. Через день надоело вызывать персонал - сами открывали щитовую и включали/выключали рубильник. Бассейн не держит воду, перелив не работает - короче, беда!

Extremely Disappointed

The only saving grace was the kids club, staff were very friendly

We had multiple issues and ended up checking out a day early. - We booked a family room, this looked beautiful and bright in the photos online, it included a kids setup and non of that was in the room, kids were disappointed and this is the main reason we booked this hotel for the kids facilities shown in photos. After I informed them that it is not like the photo that brought up a little kids table and tent but it was still far from photos (if booking this room do not expect it to be like photos!) - the room smelt bad, a very damp musky smell, all our sheets and clothes were moist the entire time we stayed in the room and our friends had similar issues in another room - multiple things were not working in the room (phone, doorbell and even the aircon stopped working when all the power cut out one morning at 6am and then again the next day - biggest let down was that the 2 pools were green and the water was merky. We were not comfortable swimming in the pool which after seveal complaints they ended up closing for maintenance, it seems they have had this issue for some time The day we arrived we were not offered to check in our luggage they just left it at the lobby steps, the hotel had completely run out of pool towels so we had no towels for the kids using the kids pool (which was still not up to cleanliness standard but still swimmable unlike the other 2 pools) I had spoken to multiple managers during our stay regarding these issues and they were always very helpful and polite trying to resolve as best they could but unfortunately it just didn’t cut it and we ended up leaving a day earlier (they did refund this night) then planned as we could not enjoy the facilities and ended up paying much more then we intended to at another hotel. It was an unfortunate situation as the hotel has a lot of potential but needs improvement.

Was worried about reviews that I read but it was a pleasant hotel. Rooms were clean and beds were comfy. Tea and coffee are available with kettle. Hairdryer. Large pool areas. Friendly staff. Staff even helped me book an excursion.

Pool could do with a deep clean around drains to remove rubbish caught. Prices in the bar doubled whilst we were staying there with no notice. Actually, I got charged 2 different prices for the same can of beer on same bill? But was resolved.

All round great hotel and staff

Lovely location, very close to a lot of restaurants, beaches, night life and was quiet enough that we didn’t feel swamped in other tourists. Rooms were very clean and had a good amount of space. Gym was a good size too which came as a plus for us! Perhaps a few extra options on the breakfast menu - but other than that it was very good!

Great location to local restaurants and beach. We had a beautiful room with terrace and private swimmingpool.The staff was very kind and helpful. Great programs for families within the hotel (kids world, movie nights, animator team, several pools). Nice and delicious breakfast but if you spend more time here it can be a bit boring. Housekeeping team was very good as well, always tidy rooms. Judy, the manager is very nice and helpful, cooperative if necessary. Overall we suggest for families to try it out.

Our best stay in Thailand

Staff The employees are courteous and competent. Location Karon beach is good for family tourists, clean, not noisy, shops and night market on weekend just 5 min walk from hotel, beach is less than 2 min on foot. Cleanliness Our room was cleaned every morning. Kids There is kids world club in the hotel where the staff take care kids, organize different programs with kids... movies in the evening so that my kids could watch movie outside of our hotel room while I was taking conference calls quietly( good internet speed ) After our staying in 5-star hotel in Patong beach, we prefer Karon beach and highly recommend this hotel Destination Resorts Phuket Karon Beach - SHA Extra Plus that will exceed your expectation and money worth. It will be your best choice in Phuket.

The way to the beach is so messy,I don't understand why this hotel cannot build small bridge and make it comfortable. You need to walk 10 minutes to the center. No access to the beach.

super nice

From the second we arrived, the staff were so friendly - reception staff, activity staff, cleaning and maintenance. We had a small maintenance issue with our room and before we got back from our free welcome drink, it was already sorted despite us checking in early ! The plunge pool was fantastic and the room as the nicest I have ever stayed in. The main pool was very clean.

It would be nice if the plunge pool was a little more private - maybe a gate into the suite area as we thought everyone was looking as they went by. Also, the on-site restaurants were so so expensive - 310Baht for a Pad Thai that is 100 Baht across the road. The prices were the same if not more expensive than what we would pay in Ireland. While I understand that resort restaurants are always a little more expensive for the convenience, this was just too much at almost triple the cost of the local restaurants. I didn’t try the food as a result so can’t comment on quality.

beautiful, fun, relaxing and made a second home

Loved our stay here. All the staff are fantastic so friendly and accomodating. The property is huge so it doesn’t get too noisy, three pools to choose from so don’t have to worry about kids running around everywhere with an exclusive kids pool. We had a plunge pool room and found it perfect for a relaxing holiday. The main pool is incredible and so fun 12 hours a day, always has music and service for drinks and food. would recommend this property for families or couples. we had a group of 22 and was awesome to be in the same place.
