Very clean , helpful staff, comfortable and quiet room
Breakfast could have been served better. One tray per person. Larger napkins. Better quality orange juice.

Stayed here before. Excellent location with secure parking and outside facilities to eat etc
17.00 check in
Toilet is part of the room (no door or ceiling, just walled off)
4.3
Spacious room and very clean, handy car park

Madame Sabine was very nice and helpful. The room and bathroom are charming and thoughtfully refurbished. You can walk into central Troyes without too much effort. Troyes is an enchanting medieval city. In the summer, I travel between Belgium and Spain and would stay here again.

Lovely old building with charming garden. Host very welcoming and helpful about our arrangements and where to go in the old town, which is close by. Delicious breakfast.

it was spotless. the property was neat and tidy
paying extra for parking

A real oasis near the centre of Troyes.

The room was fine. The owner was attentive. The breakfast was very good. The facilities were good. The parking was good. The location was handy both for the city centre and the supermarket over the road.
There were six printed warning notices about behaviour around the room with three of them carrying a fine if the rule was not obeyed - make no noise between 22.00 and 09.00; make no marks on the furniture and you must leave by 10.00 on the day of your departure. There was even a notice by the front door warning that the sanitiser must not be taken. That part of the notice written in English said that you should not "bring" the sanitiser when it meant to say, "take". Paying £310 for two nights and you're warned not to steal the sanitiser - really. Everything in the room was white and we were on edge in case we made any marks. The bed used sheets and blankets instead of a duvet which led to an all night tangle with the blanket slipping off. Staying two nights, we used the kettle and hairdryer which we found all wound up and secreted away. Returning to the room for the second night, we found the kettle and dryer had been wound up and stored away again back in a very high shelf - strange.

Nice place and great location. Staff very nice and great breakfast!
it was a little expensive and the rooms were not really sound proof and we could hear everything.

On arrival - the property looked very nice, pretty garden set out for the guests which was nice and safe parking behind locked gates.
The German couple that arrived just before us checked in and were taken to a ground floor apartment and I heard both of them say "Wow" when the door was opened for them. Obviously that boded well for us - so we were looking forward to seeing our apartment.
However our apartment was on the 3rd floor and there was no lift. Lugging heavy cases (we had been on holiday for 3-weeks) up spiral concrete stairs (40 steps) was not easy and the lady who checked us in would not have been able to carry our cases any better than us.
When we reached the apartment - it was small.
However, the bathroom was miniscule and the double bed was so short and the pillows so big - if you lay with your head on the pillow your feet dangled off the edge of the bed.
We both had a rubbish nights sleep because of this.
Had this room been let as a single - then the occupant could have slept across the bed and possibly got more comfortable - but for two adults in their late 60's - it was not acceptable.
Perhaps the owners should have considered making 2 instead of 3 apartments on the upper floor - then the remaining ones would have had slightly more room for a larger bed.

good location, lovely furnishings, lovely meme we of staff.
the steep staircase was not easy for carrying your luggage. we had a room for 2-4 persons which was an apartment at the top. The lounge area was spacious and the sofa bed was made up for our son. into our bedroom, it was tiny! with very little space to walk around the bed. the bathroom was also tiny. There was no where for our toiletries to go. also no where for our cases to go either. a very well equipped kitchen area, not sure that anyone would really use the kitchen. but was disappointed that a kettle and coffee machine was included but no coffee pods or tea bag's were included.

An amazing building the rooms were exceptional and thoroughly clean and we were greeted and looked after by a lovely lady

lovely period property with secure parking.

Breakfast was superb. Help yourself and situated outside in the garden. Host was superb, could not do enough for you. Will definitely be returning. Parking off road in a secure compound.
Could not fault the hotel. I would have liked premises to have been a little nearer to the centre of the old town.
4.3
beautiful, clean and great location.
4.3
comfortable small apartment in the converted attic with good size fridge and freezer compartment. Easy 10 minutes walk to the historical town centre
comfortable but very short bed, coffee maker available but no coffee capsules, even if you bring your own, they may not match the machine. One capsule per person provided per day would be great together with couple of tea bags. Also an ice cube container for the freezer would help.
4.3
very pretty, clean and ideal location. well equipped.
would have been nice to have tea and coffee sachets in the room.
4.3
Well appointed. Comfortable. Well located, truly a 5 min walk to the old town. Parking was secure behind locked gates.
Not exactly a dislike but the property faces a car wash. It was not a disturbance but not a great view!. Ask for a room at the rear facing the garden.

Lovely place ,fantastic gardens but you can't get in until 5pm it would be better if you could get in a bit sooner. But lovely decor.
Just need to be let in sooner.but receptionist very nice as I booked the wrong date and she sorted it out .thank you

The decor was wonderful and exceptionally clean.
The winding staircase up two stories to our room which was at the top of the house. On our arrival the room was very hot and the windows were closed..The air con did not work....
4.3
Location good for city visit.
Breakfast excellent ( especially the Cheese ).
Wi-Fi
4.3
not a lot
no wifi and too far from town centre The view of car wash not inspiring nor having to pay by cash
4.3
The room was very nice and the craftsmanship and room design was really exceptional. Loved having the kitchenette in the room, wish more hotels would build them in. Email correspondence with the Staff / Owner was timely and she offered to accommodate our late arrival if necessary. Very tasty takeout pizza place, very close. Secure Parking
The unnecessary additional COVID rules (if you care, request them upfront), all of the additional "fine print rules" in the important info section and having to pay extra for the parking spot that is within the fence boundary of the property. The location and StreetSide room is loud right next to a car wash, too noisy to open the windows. Restaurants were a bit of a walk. Although there was a small kitchenette and coffee maker, there was no coffee and in the bathroom was no make up removing pads etc. Due to only offering a 3 hours window to check in from 1700-2000, we barely made it due to Paris traffic. 1000 checkout also left us feeling a little rushed in the morning and would've liked a little more flexibility without the threat of late checkout charges.

Clean, nicely modernised. Good location .
Shouldn’t. Have to pay for parking.
