The food was excellent a lot of local produce great service and staff all lovely!
The room was perfect very comfortable the decor was not to fuzzy but you had everything you needed!
They went out of their way to help with anything you needed!
It is now a place we would go out of our way to visit!
Mugs for tea in the room! But this was not a point of not liking it just something you might like to consider!
Am sure if we asked it would have been given!

We stayed before and had no hesitation in booking again this year and it is now on our list of favourite places to break up our journey. The Hayloft room is exceptional and about to be redecorated to make it even better, The family run establishment has excellent service with friendly people striving to provide excellent service. The food in the dining room, both at dinner and breakfast, is well deserved of the Michelin Bib Gourmand entry with reasonable prices and a good selection of wines to suit any budget.
Highly recommended

Friendly team, good food (dinner & breakfast.) Rooms are comfortable & spacious.
if you want an early night you may find the rooms above the bar a little noisy but there is much more to like about The Six Bells

Quite expensive, but nothing really to dislike.

Breakfast was nice
Staff attentive
You did have to book a time for breakfast which is not always easy as you don’t know what time you’ll wake up…
When we arrived we couldn’t park in the car park because it was completely full so we parked on the road. On entering the property you go in through the front door which led us into a very busy pub, we had to squeeze through lots of people and tables and chairs with our case and bags, we found out that there were 2 wedding receptions. We we’re greeted quickly by a friendly member of staff and taken to our room, which was very nice, couldn’t find a tv remote, but on later returning to the bar we were informed it had been removed because it wasn’t working, the staff managed to find us a table so we could sit and enjoy our drinks.

breakfast was excellent and all first class ingredients.
Room was superb and service from owners and staff was way above the average and not even the Ritz could have offered better attention to it`s clients.
Dinner was excellent and reasonably priced to boot.
no fault found.

The property is set in a quiet village. Staff were very helpful and friendly and the quality of food was better than I expected. The home made bread was an added bonus.

Very comfortable, clean room with excellent shower. All the staff were friendly, keen to ensure everything was to our satisfaction, and professional.
The TV stations broke up and were a bit of a hit or miss.

Wonderful village in rural Lincolnshire with ver comfortable rooms and exceptional food. Owners and staff all lovely.

Everything was excellent, the Black Dog Room was really nicely appointed. The ensuite was fab and we had a great nights stay. The village is quite and a great stop off on our way to Yorkshire.
My husband is a vegan, and although I informed them prior to our visit the dinner offering was limited. I understand thats it hard to cater for all types, but a little more thought in the options would of been nice.
The bread they have for sale in the morning is to die for, so make sure you purchase a loaf before you leave.

Such a brilliant find just outside Bourne. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We had a delicious meal despite arriving late at the hotel and breakfast was perfect. We were blessed with sunshine in the morning and remarked how quiet it was sitting out in the pretty courtyard. Definitely somewhere we would like to revisit.
Cannot fault the hotel.
