Perfect appartment

Perfect location if you want to explore Malta without car. Apartment is located 5 min walk from Valleta. In case you are not tired in the evenings just can go there and enjoy the nightlife. Mark is great host. He gave me very important advises what to see and how to organise a program so i had a great holiday there.

Struttura favolosa nella bellissima Malta

Il miglior soggiorno che abbia mai fatto tramite Booking. La struttura è dotata di tutti i servizi e la posizione è molto strategica. Nei dintorni ci sono varie fermate autobus che permettono di raggiungere le altre città. Per chi non intende spostarsi , invece, il centro di Valletta è a 5 minuti a piedi. Il proprietario è amorevole: al nostro arrivo abbiamo trovato acqua e frutta ed è stato reperibile per tutta la durata del soggiorno, dandoci preziosi consigli. 10/10

Best host for the ideal location

The location of the apartment is ideal. All the buses are close, Valetta is a 10min walking distance depending on how fast walker you are. The apartment has everything you need from fresh towels, to flip flops and towels for the sea, a well equipped kitchen, a jacuzzi, a great bed to rest and everything becomes even greater with the host Mr. Mark who has been one of the most welcoming people I have ever met. He helped us find the apartment before arriving by sending us instructions for the bus we should take and even when he welcomed us he made sure to show us how everything works and he even had a 4days guide on things we can do in Malta and send us a huge list with restaurants and foods we should try. Such a helpful and kind person! Mr. Mark you were amazing honestly!

The state of the property including bathroom was disappointing.. The room smells humidity unfortunately because it is not heat up and it is dark during the day so that you need to keep the lights on. The host is nice.

Great to have a very close and quiet location to Valetta

the owner “Mark” was super friendly and showed a great service and care. the location is fantastic, only a few minutes walk to the entrance of Valetta. The stress was quiet.

it’s on the ground floor and there is not really a natural light. it has indeed two windows but because of the milky glas, you won’t have much of natural light in your room, it feels a bit strange. but of course there are enough lights.

fill of adventures with good night’s sleep!

We’re nearby the center of La Valette, the main bus station and we’re at less than 10 min by walk to get ferries or taxi boat. There’s a lot of equipments which gives the travel easier (there’s towels/ hairdryer..). The kitchen is also well equipped. Mark is very kind, helpful and make a fuss of his visitors.

I would have prefer paying via Booking but that’s not a very big deal.

Such an amazing stay in Valletta with the most passionate host (Mark) any traveler, especially a travel blogger like myself (Girl Takes Mundo) could ask for. Mark was knowledgeable about the history of Malta, offered fantastic restaurant recommendations in Valletta and shared what Maltese food we should try. 8vilhena itself is very comfortable and in a perfect location of Valletta as there is plenty of parking options for those traveling with a car.

Excellent, centrally located, unique property.

This is an interesting property. It is very conveniently located for accessing tourist attractions in Valletta and the central bus terminal. We took the public bus for 2 euros each from the airport. We missed our stop, the last one prior to the terminal, but the walk back from the terminal was less than 5 minutes. We did need to go to the terminal, though, to catch the bus back to the airport when leaving. The property is in an historic building with access directly from the street to the combined sleeping and eating room. The bathroom occupies the entire downstairs which is enormous. The sleeping/eating space has a small kitchen space appropriate for breakfast and other light eating with a small table for 2 persons. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was a surprise, both by its size and the fact that there is a Jacuzzi tub in one area of the bathroom. There is also a shower stall and sink island. We were on island for a weekend of physical activity which made having the Jacuzzi tub fantastic for a refreshing massaging bath after a long day of a lot of leg work. There is also a washing machine in a storage area in the basement. The owner/manager?? met us with keys. He was very pleasant and accommodating with suggestions for what turned out to be a lovely little tavern for our first dinner after arrival...plus they were open later than many other restaurants.

A nice stay very close to Valetta

This accommodation is in a great location, a short walk to Valetta and very close to several bus stops. The space is well equipped with everything you need and the bed is really comfortable. Mark even left us some complimentary snacks in the kitchen. The bathroom is extremely spacious and has a huge jacuzzi in it. The check in and communication with Mark was super easy and Mark was really friendly and helpful.

The disposition of the apartment is a bit unusual, with the bathroom located in the basement. There are stairs leading down there directly from the bedroom which was fine with us but there is no door there, meaning there is no sound proofing of the bathroom/ toilet area.

The apartment was very close to bus stops Which take u everywhere in malta. And was 5 mins to Valletta which is lovely. An host was extremely helpful and pleasant and apartment is v clean an comfortable.👍

Great location – five minutes to the city gates of old Valletta. Check in with the host was easy. Bed was comfortable. They provided me with some good basics: coffee, tea, bottled water.

Nothing. The bathroom is downstairs on a different level but that did not bother me at all. Very large bathroom with a jetted tub and separate shower.
