The accommodation was fairly priced and was a good base for us - it's close to Snowdon and the coast for exploring.
The heating and wi fi were both good.
We had a good communication from the host.
Overall we had a nice stay.
You need to park on the street and walk down to the house itself which is set back off the road. This wasn't a major issue but we felt a little guilty parking in front of other people's houses.
A few minor improvements would make a big difference - the shower is hot and powerful but the head was difficult to position and wouldn't stay in place which made showering a bit tricky. The advert said toiletries were provided but there was only a tiny amount of shower gel and toilet roll so we had to purchase our own. There are tea / coffee / sugar cannisters but novtea / coffee / sugar is provided so I would advise taking your own. The pans for cooking are in quite poor condition with the handles loose so if you intend of on self catering you may wish to take additional cooking items with you.
The sofa in the living room is fine for two people but the chair in the living room was very uncomfortable to sit on so if there are 3/4 of you then it's worth factoring this in.
There was no option to recycle our recyclable waste which seemed a shame.

Lovely clean and welcoming cottage with all that we expected and needed.
Sofa needs looking into.
Encountered trouble with hot water on Sunday.

The bed was a bit uncomfortable

Very cozy and warm cottage in the south west of snowdonia. In a quiet village only 30min drive to Llanberis, Anglesey and Pen-y-pass :)
Brilliant kitchen with loads of space.
Fish and chips across the street was quite good too!
Shower was typical electric shower. I.e. not enough pressure for me.
Parking was street parking only. I found space to park, but it was quite tight / limited space late in the evening.

I don’t have anything nice to say about this misleading property.
Property is an extension to the house, in the back ally overlooking lush fields of green to which you have absolutely no access to. There is no garden but 1x1m shared back cemented fire exit door. you share that with another house. The ceilings are so low that each time you boil a kettle or make a toast, the fire alarm is being activated. the bed in the master bedroom, has been, to put it nicely, over used to the point of dented mattress and sprains sticking out. we left the property earlier ad it was unbearable to sleep. there is no parking near this extension, neighbours smoke substances and we were highly, highly disappointed. the shower had a lot to ask in terms of cleanliness and provably never seen bleach in the entire existence.

The cottage was lovely. It was a perfect size for us and our two boys. Great layout and situated well for Caernarfon and other great places to visit.
We found that the sofa was broken pretty much as soon as we arrived. I let the owner know and she said there was a new on on order. Later that night, my wife was reading through the guest book. She found that the sofa had been broken since August 2022! We told the owner and she said it wasn't the same one. Now this may or may not be true but it seems a little coincidental. Also, we read that the mattress on the double bed was shocking. We have to agree as we did not sleep much at all! Finally, the shower head wouldn't stay up at the top so being nearly 6ft, made showering a challenge.
Without these comforts, it is hard to recommend this accommodation.

lovely quaint cottage in fantastic location to explore snowdonia
bed was not the most comfortable but other than that we cannot fault anything else

great location to explore snowdonia park, good kitchen, easy to find with clear instructions. good facilities nearby.
sofa was broke, couldn’t sit on it and only 1 two seater for family property.
the double bed is very old, genuinely concerned about moving in case it broke. could feel very spring in the mattress.
bathroom not very clean, but passable.
a shame as these are small things to rectify and many other reviews said similar but it really did spoil the experience, with no where to sit comfortably or sleep well.

This is a beautiful little cottage in a lovely little town. The town has local pubs, a coop and a delicious Chinese across the road! the cottage has everything you could need for a short trip. The cottage is cosy, nice decor and it was very clean. When we arrived, there was milk in the fridge tea and coffee and Welsh cakes, not expected but a lovely little surprise to be able to have a brew as soon as we arrive! The TV is logged onto now tv which is so useful and a nice treat when we are away! This is in a great location, so if you want a cute little cottage to stay to climb Snowdon this is perfect. Recommend staying and we would book again!
Read other reviews which I think are very unfairly negative. This is a perfect stay and well worth the money.
The sofa and the mattress aren’t perfect, but for a few nights stay it’s fine! Perfect place to come spend a few hours after a long days hiking!

Lovely little cottage which was perfectly placed to go to either to the beach or hiking! Super clean, had everything we could have wanted there. Ruth was wonderful - she was very informative and super helpful. Great value for money and we had a lovely weekend.

The location was ideal for our sightseeing.
Nice little town.
The pub looked like it had stood still in time, lovely Welsh authenticity. Friendly landlord

Nice cottage, good value for the money.
Not parking available at the property. We found some dirty dishes in the kitchen. We didn’t have any shower gel or shampoo available in the bathroom (so don’t forget to take some toiletries with you).

Very easy to find parking on the street. Quiet residential neighbourhood. A well sized, well equipped kitchen was an added advantage.

Communication before booking was excellent. The cottage was lovley with everything needed for a short stay.
Very warm, welcoming with a supermarket a short walk away..
Parking was ok, we had to park a street or so away but always found something
The mattresses were awfully uncomfortable on all beds...you could hear the springs when turning and definitely felt them.

Affordable and cosy cottage
Solid wifi
Easy street parking
Quiet neighbourhood
Close to Caernarfon which makes Snowdon easily accessible
Water pressure and heat in the shower was inconsistent
Very basic utensils/crockery for cooking and eating off
Not much in the town itself to do/see
4.0
The cottage is nicely decorated and is in the good location to explore Snowdonia and north Wales.
The kitchen could be better equipped, definitely needs new frying pan.
The mattress on the double bed is poor quality and really uncomfortable.
The fire alarm in the kitchen is very sensitive and went off literally every time we used a toaster.
All these might be little things but it was what made experience ok, but not excellent.
