About this apartment rental

Cosy, clean, one-bedroom, one bathroom apartment with modern appliances. Our apartment is located in the La Vista Azul Resort which is in the Turtle Cove area which is about a 5 minute drive from the main Grace Bay area. Well-furnished: queen-sized bed, bar with two stools, safety deposit, fridge, microwave oven, stove, t.v., combo washer-dryer. The beach and several restaurants is five minutes away or you can stay in and play board games. The full kitchen is equipped for your comfort. You will have full use of all resort facilities on the La Vista Azul compound and these include pools, hot tubs, gym and car park. La Vista Azul is about five minute from the airport. Our closest beach is a 5 minute walk from the resort.Light snacks await you on your arrival.

First, I would like to commend VRBO for negotiating with the owner the opportunity for us to obtain an 80% refund if we wanted to cancel our stay. Unfortunately, we were unable to cancel the reservation due to our inability to find another location that evening on short notice. Upon arrival, we opened the door to an overwhelming stench. The unit was hot and the AC was not working. We discovered the source of the odor was from the linens, all of which were terribly soured. When we called the maintenance contact provided by the owner, there was no response. My husband was eventually able to get the AC to work. That night, we had to wash every linen in the unit including sheets, pillow cases, bedspreads and towels. The pillows were so filthy that we covered them each with 2 pillowcases to separate us from the smell and dirt. The couch and chairs were dirty and worn. The couch pillows were in terrible condition. We covered them with sheets to sit on them. The kitchen faucet was broken but was able to be used. The high point of the unit was the bathroom, which had been nicely renovated. The bath and beach towels were nice and large. It was also nice to have use of beach chairs and cooler. I have pictured and videos documenting all of this but I don't know how to post on Vrbo. I learned the classic lesson from this rental...."you get what you pay for." My advice is to spend a little more money and rent elsewhere.

Everything went smoothly! Things we loved: Location, cleanliness, that beach chairs (although the VERY low type so don’t work for older people like us), umbrella, & cooler were provided! We used these each day! Yvonne was nice to deal with but we didn’t get to meet her! Suggestions that would be even more helpful: -A working safe-no place to store Passports/valuables etc We bought new batteries but still didn’t work. -2 complete snorkel sets, (there was 2 masks & 1 snorkel tube, no fins) & we don’t snorkel without a life vest-it’s hard to haul these on a plane -a few more kitchen items, non stick skillet That we could fry an egg & things without sticking, updated silverware, a spaghetti strainer, salt/pepper & a few spices would save each party buying all those new. You’ll want to eat in most of the time...very expensive to eat out! -furniture was fine but it’s time for new couch & the bed needs new mattress soon -several things were broken on arrival that we made Yvonne aware of but we still had a wonderful stay!

Comfortable apartment at the La Vista Azul resort. With the kitchen, we were able to reduce our vacation costs by reducing the number of restaurant meals. The dishwasher, and clothes washer and dryer worked well, and the apartment is air conditioned. The apartment is about a 15 minute walk to the west end of Grace Bay beach a fantastic beach. I would recommend others visiting to rent a car so you can get around and explore the whole island. In particular, check out the beach at Taylor Bay. The access is from Ocean Point Drive, but not easy to spot. Look on Trip Advisor for details on finding the access. The owners agent was helpful. We will be returning to Providenciales and will stay here again if it is available.

My adult kids and I stayed in this well equipped condo over Xmas and really enjoyed it. It's in a good location about a block from a nice beach. The condo is spacious with a comfortable bed in the bedroom and a queen size pull-out in the family room. My son slept on the pull-out and said that it was decent (he is 6'3/205). I would definitely recommend a car while there. While there is a restaurant and gelato/bar on the property there is much more to see and do around the island and taxis/transport are nowhere (and if you do find or order one its expensive). The communication during the booking process and during the stay was excellent. I would stay here again.

Che's Place at LaVista Azul was a wonderful condo to stay at! The condo is very large in space! Great location and I highly recommend getting a car... the driving is very easy to navagate even though you drive on the left ( if you don't already do that!) It is a very quiet condo even when people are next to you or above! The pools are very nice and the people very friendly!

Ches Place at LaVista Azul was a wonderful condo to stay at! The condo is very large in space! Great location and I highly recommend getting a car... the driving is very easy to navagate even though you drive on the left ( if you dont already do that!) My husband and I have just returned from 11 days in Providenciales, staying in La Vista Azul. The apartment was clean, cool, comfortable, and perfectly positioned for our needs. Our vacation goals were quiet relaxation, lots of snorkeling, easy beach access, ability to prepare some meals at home, and proximity to Da Conch Shack. La Vista Azul is a short walk to the best snorkeling on the island at Smith's reef. The apartment complex is built into a hill, with apartment halls staggered, which made for very quiet nights, even though it was spring break time. The apartment itself is nicely appointed, with a very comfortable bed, functional kitchen with coffee maker, large private patio area, and tv with lots of US stations. The wifi streamed Netflix for us without buffering. We did rent a car and traveled to explore different beaches and restaurants, including Long Bay Beach, Leeward Beach, and the nature preserve in the northwest corner of the island. There are several good restaurants within a short walk of the apartment, and we highly recommend Mango Reef and Baci for gorgeous views and good food. Yvonne was a great host. She was responsive to my email questions before and during the trip. My husband lost our apartment keys while snorkeling the first day there, and Yvonne was so calm and reassuring. She brought us a second set of keys and some Jamaican coffee. Such a nice gesture. I know that this apartment received a negative review for cleanliness recently. The review was posted after we reserved and it made me nervous about our stay. I am happy to assure you that the apartment was spotless for us, with pristine white sheets, a scrubbed bathroom, clean fridge and kitchen, and washer/dryer for our use. I highly recommend this apartment for travelers looking for a low-stress, hassle-free vacation in an absolutely gorgeous location.

reasonable price, pool and hot tub with a kitchen-- 5 minute walk to the closest beach, 1 mile from a grocery store but also close to a bike/car rental place (Scooter Bob's).. I would recommend a car rental! Beautiful, clean space. Yvonne is very helpful and friendly.

We are happy with our stay. Open concept apartment with sufficient space. Great view of the ocean from the top terrace where pools are also located. La Vista Azul was modern and clean and the view was so breathtaking! We stayed for 10 days in December, the resort is beautiful! Good condo overall with kitchen completely stocked with everything you could possibly need. The ocean / Grace Bay is so close within walking distance!

We dropped our luggage off while the cleaning lady was there. It smelled like mothballs but we figured it was because she was not done. We arrived a few hours later and nothing was clean. The floors were dirty, there was hair in the beds and bathroom. I messaged the host with photos of everything and her response was nothing short of rude and negligent. I have been to this island over 10 times and stayed here at La vista at several other units which were very clean and hosts were nothing short of polite. We left the unit cleaner than it was when we arrived and she is messaging me on WhatsApp accusing me of extortion. All I did was send photos of the dirty floors and beds and her responses are defensive, sarcastic and insincere. She suggested I purchase my own unit if I am not happy and is holding my refundable damage deposit hostage because I asked her to refund the cleaning fee. Huge disappointment.
