Ideal setting.
Loved the boardwalks.
Rooms need to be updated, very dark and quite frankly smelly.
Didn't like the interleading door, sounds travel from adjacent room.
2.0
Food and atmosphere
No activities to do except the hiking
4.5
Food was great!
5.0
The animals that roamed freely in the area, the pleasant staff, not having a TV did wonders for the mind - you were forced to take in the beauty of the place and.engage with the animals on a whole new level
The load shedding, impacted the wifi and this was a challenge as there is no other means of connection except wats app.
5.0
Environment is quiet and clean

Despite being the only guests in the resort, the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and special. The kitchen staff were so accommodating to make a meal for us.

Staff was helpful, friendly. We saw most of the animal around the place. The place was clean n we had a lovely time
Tap water was dirty. Limited dishes in the kitchen to utilised. Road to reception had too much holes n water was filled in n couldn't drive to reception.

Very nice place where we stayed for one night. When we arrived, we passed zebras, giraffes and deer on the way to our rooms. It is very wild and very nice. The staff is lovely. In the evening we were sitting on the terrace and a kudu came to see us. Amazing experience!
3.0
The walking & seating deck
The unattended gate that requires one to jump off the car to open & to close it. And the puddles on the road lead to the receptionist area were bad for our small car.
4.0
A proper bush lodge experience, with all the amenities
The food was okay … but not great

Enjoyed the hiking and the fact that there was no television which gave us time to bond
The weather on Friday

Loved the viewing deck, lots of animals around giraffe, buck, deer etc. Lawn & pool area was well maintained. Aircons in the bedrooms and free WIFI was a plus for me, nice patio area for braaiing and relaxing.
Gravel roads definitely needs attention I would highly recommend a 4X4 or a high clearance vehicle when visiting. The fridge in our chalet was not effective, also aircons in the lounge area would have been better. No generators when there is load shedding.
4.0
Nature, so quite and cool away from everything
Restaurant toilet was date, with number two
3.5
The location was stunning.
Friendliness at reception.
As visitors, you would expect to be informed of anything that could result in discomfort, i.e., loadshedding schedule, etc
Fan in the living room didn't work too well.
Going the extra mile for your guests doesn't cost anything and will promote return visits.

Road to lodge was a bit dodgy

Good place to relax and unwind. Welcoming stuff. Good value for your money.

We swam every day. Pool very warm but so was the weather. Pool was always clean. We did not use the dining facilities. The property is beautiful situated in the bush with Nyala, Zebra, Warthog and Duiker freely roaming. Wonderful!
Everything was perfect for the price we paid. The entrance gate did not work but we had no problem opening and closing it. In actual fact it was lots of fun.
4.5
Lovely place situated amongst forest and grasslands. Amazing staff and the food is incredible. Perfect for Birdwatching and butterflies.
Lots of pepper ticks

The Staff, Nelly, Cynthia and Shpe were most helpful, friendly and accommodating. They were lovely.
The issue with the gate. One should not have to get out your car to open and close the gate. Suggestion would be to have a guard there with gum boots if it is raining as it did. Instead our shoes got wet and muddy and into the car. Wasn't an ideal situation.
3.5
Perfectly situated, friendly staff, nice facilities, safe. We had a ball.
We were not warned of the water situation so had no water most of the time & reception had none to buy so had to drive far. A heads up on the loadshedding schedule & water would have been great. A complementary bottle of drinking water would have made the difference.
1.5
Isolated environment.
Friendly staff.
Accommodation lacks maintenance and quality checks not done.
Buffet had way too few options for the charged price.
5.0
the staff friendly hospitality and the food services it was really great 🥰
2.5
despite the place being aged. I certainly believe that keeping it clean will help. The bathrooms are very very dirty.
3.5
Buffet dinner & breakfast.
Seeing Bushbabies at dinner.
Cabins dated, yet very clean.
