my stay was pleasant and good.

i did have a sumptuous breakfast. my stay was pleasant. shops were walking distance. rooms were comfortable. bathroom was clean and quite spacious.

i would have liked breakfast earlier. couldn't get the hair dryer plugged in .

Belle arrivée dans les lieux vite gâchée par cette histoire.

Hôtel installé dans un beau bâtiment et plutôt bien placé, proche du centre ville et des rues animées le soir.

Petit déjeuner très réduit voir absent le dernier jour, la personne chargée de sa préparation étant absente. Grosse difficulté rencontrée dès notre arrivée puisque le responsable de l'hôtel nous a facturé 10 fois le prix prévu(volontairement ? !). A partir de là, énormes difficultés pour se faire rembourser, menace de plainte à la police pour arriver à nos fins et à partir de là, attitudes extrêmement négatives du responsable à notre encontre. 2ème journée de notre séjour à Georgetown totalement amputée par la résolution de ce problème notamment visite de la réserve et de la plage de Northam beach.

-ทำเลดี ไม่ไกลจาก kimberly street food และ chulia street food และร้านติ่มซำ tai tong เดินไป art stree ใช้เวลาไม่นาน -เตียง หมอน นอนสบาย -เจ้าของไม่เรื่องมาก

-ห้องพักไม่สะอาด -บรรยากาศห้องไม่น่าอยู่ เก่า โทรม มืด น่ากลัว ภาพที่ตบแต่งน่ากลัว creepy -อุปกรณ์ทุกอย่างเก่าโทรม เช่น ตู้เย็น โซฟา ตู้เสื้อผ้า -ไม่มีเครื่องทำน้ำร้อน -ไม่มีเครื่องเป่าผม -แอร์คืนแรกใช้ไม่ได้ -อุปกรณ์ในห้องน้ำมีให้แค่สบู่เหลวในขวดปั๊ม only -ไม่เปลี่ยนผ้าเช็ดตัวให้ ต้องขอให้เปลี่ยนใหม่ -ไม่มีน้ำดื่มในห้อง ไม่มีกาต้มน้ำร้อน ต้องเดินไปกินน้ำเองที่ครัว -มีขยะกล่องขนมจากผู้พักคนก่อนที่ไม่ได้เก็บทิ้ง -แล็คเกอร์ที่เคลือบพื้นลอกออกมาทั้งห้อง เหยียบแล้วมีเศษติดเท้า -ไม่มีโต๊ะเก้าอี้ให้นั่ง มีแต่ตั่งหวายเตี้ยๆ กับโซฟาที่นั่งแล้วจม -อาหารเช้าจัดเป็นชุด มีขนมปังปิ้ง ไส้กรอก ไข่คน ส้ม แต่คุณภาพไม่ดี ไม่อร่อย -คะแนนรีวิวดีเกินจริง -ไม่สะดวกสบาย

Very good

It was a great experience for me staying at the property. It was so comfortable and cozy. I slept well for the past few days i was staying here! The location also strategic, easy for me to access nearby areas in the town such as Street Art/Armenian street and also Chew Jetty. For those who like cozy place, with classic environments, i think this is the best option. I would recommend it and I would love to repeat it for the next time!

An experience in Georgetown which I dont intend to revisit

The location was great because its in the vicinity of hawker street food. Easy to locate the property but if you are driving, obviously the parking space is limited- depends on the availability of the space by roadside. More suitable for tourists. I got the lower ground room so my review is based on that. Easy to get to the room. The reception opens at 9 am till late night. No designated one person to manage check in though. The bed is comfortable. Bathroom is fine.

The furniture is very old- Im not sure if that was on purpose-creeps me out. The plug socket near the bed is loose; They provide iron with no ironing board. No toiletries provided except for all in 1 shampoo/shower cream. It can be noisy at night cos the road is just next to it n so is a bar.

Very kind staff who upgraded my room for free from a single to a double room. Slept very good and loved the interior style. Next door a nice bar with live music. It's in the middle of the center, close to everything, within walking distance. Good airco and hot shower.

At best, it's ok for a couple of nights

The staff is nice and helpful. The location is central and everything is nearby, including a bar with live music.

The room wasn't clean, I won't go into details here but check it first. The hot shower didn't work properly. The AC didn't work properly. I slept with my face inches away from a dangling electric socket. And the bar with live music entertained my sweaty nights. I understand it's a "very" budget place and Malaysia has higher prices on accommodation than some other countries around here, but really, with minimal effort (clean the room, repair or replace old electric equipment) the experience would be so much better. Honestly just a clean room would get a better review...

Could be nice, but... is not !!!

The location of the hotel is really good. This could be a really nice boutique hotel as the style of the building is really nice/local. Wooden stairs, floors, etc.... Could be really nice with a serious renovation !

Breakfast was supposed to be included but on the morning there was no staff present in the hotel and so after a while we just left as we had to go to the airport to catch a flight. Other customers experienced the same issue. The hotel/room was not clean. Some lights were not working in the room. Only one plug for TV / TV box meaning you could not plug both at the time... So, TV not working. Air Conditioning in the room was out of order, but repaired but hotel staff. The bathroom was not very clean either and no separation for the shower - the bathroom was wet everywhere... The paint is falling from the walls.... Access to Wifi a bit messy. A serious renovation/cleaning has to be done !!!

The charming pictures of the accommodation show only one side of the coin.

The staff are friendly and helpful as far as possible. The building is really old and cosy, like being on a film set.

The sink was moving about to fall off. The bathroom was not clean enough. The walls were paper thin and there was a gap in the wall towards the patio. For those who have trouble sleeping, this could be a problem. As our flight left early, we were not given anything for breakfast on our last day, even though we paid for that breakfast! We asked for it several times and in good time, but the staff did not have the permission and the possibility to do so. Anyway breakfast was pretty scarce, exactly the same for each day.

Nice location close to everything

Perfect location, close to everything. The room was comfortable and the atmosphere wonderful.

We had the room next to the street and it has no glass windows, just wooden doors so it could get pretty loud with the bar next door

There is a must to improve the facilities, but the location is good for staycation.

The owner Encik Roslan is a very kind and friendly person.

No tissues provided, no air cond controller, bed is too soft and no back support, TV is provided but not in used (no socket and no controller), no additional lock from inner space, toilet door cannot closed urgh, that is so terrible.

Traditional hotel building with great breakfast

Beautiful traditional wooden balconies and very large room. Had a query about a plumbing job in our bathroom, soon after we arrived and it was fixed immediately. Breakfast in the very smart clean cafe attached, was varied and delicious.

The area was good for seeing sights but the immediate area was busy and characterless ...other areas nearby had more character although good position to get to the main Komtar bus station. The hotel and the road were reasonably quiet at night but the bar next door played very loud music until very late.( early hours of the morning)

Recommended for one day stay for heritage experience.

Excellent location near to eateries and shops. Toilet roll was thick.

Cleanliness can be improved. Amenities and fixtures although refurbished, still appeared worn. Door latch was dented and bent, could not be latched securely from the inside. No tissues in room. No hand wash soap provided. Shower gel was diluted and not effective in cleansing. Most important of all, WIFI in some parts of the room was not working. In certain areas where the Wifi seemed to work, signal was weak and connection kept dropping. Because of the horrible Wifi, the smart TV box did not work. Breakfast sausage tasted weird.

Location.

It feels like they are trying to max out the rooms while not having enough staff. Rooms were clean enough but badly maintained. Toilets need renovation, some rooms had leaks. The room downstairs is also right next to a bar so if you’re sensitive to loud noises request for a room in the back.
