Comfy bed
Seemed unclean, very noisey at night, I understand it's a pub and they have disco nights but the walls are paper thin, you can hear everything. We booked the hotel as we were flying from Birmingham the next morning, we both did not get any sleep. We had to check out early hours of the morning, we were locked in, we had to go out the fire escape in the end to get out.

Otherwise all good

it was not me personally staying so i can only answer neutral.
Good Morning
I sent an email on the 25/4/23 and have still not had a reply – this time I have added The Coach Hotel too in the hope it can be solved.
Message:-
Due to an emergency 1 of the rooms was used for 1 night only the 19th and checked out the 20th.
That means 4 nights were unused, is it possible for a credit of any money due to not using the room?

Sat cleaning the shower head due to its accumulation of mould and dirt. Dreaded everytime i had to step for shower/ use the washroom.
Dust on every surface.
Every room's Shampoo and Soap storage are empty. I don't understand why they would simply have something for namesake.
I wouldn't even stay in this place even if anyone gives a free stay voucher or deal. Worst hygiene experience.

The bed was extremely comfortable
The noise level. It was a Thursday and the music was so loud. The lady at the bar said it would finish at 11.30 but it was gone midnight before it did. if we knew there was a pub underneath playing music we would have chosen elsewhere

Absolutely nothing.
Absolutely everything.
Arrived at the ‘Hotel’ (pub with rooms) and checked in. Check in was chaotic. We were allocated a room in an outbuilding in the rear car park. Carpets in communal areas were absolutely filthy. Our room was ground floor next to the smoking area which was extremely noisy and not private at all with anyone able to look in. The pub seems to attract an undesirable clientele of people who like to scream and shout at the top of their voices continually. Extremely intimidating when you walk past to your room. We left after 10 mins extremely upset. We were traveling for work and jusr needed a good clean and quiet place to sleep. The description does state music till midnight but no mention that you could be placed in a room in a carpark listening to drunken patrons shouting all night right outside your window. The walls are also paper thin so in the short time we were there we had the pleasure of a couple of men arguing loudly in the corridor. The shower looked extremely unclean with mouldly silicone, I didn’t inspect the rest of the room. I wouldn’t go back if you paid me. Avoid at all costs.

Comfortable, friendly and value for money if your working in the area, off to a gig or visiting friends then this is just right for 1 or 2 nights a bar downstairs and car park.
If I'm going to be picky the windows don't open for fresh air but everything was fine.

Friendly staff, comfy bed & immaculate bed linen/towels
1) Very loud music until late (Sounded like karaoke just below my room).
2) The room was very hot but if you opened the only window in the room, the smell from the toilets/stench pipe downstairs filled the room.
3) The room was very small - literally the length of the bed
4) The bed linen and towels were immaculate but the rest of the room had not been cleaned for some time - debris on carpet and marks down the wall were something had been spilled and not cleaned.
5) The whole building smelt of cigarette smoke
6) Looked presentable from the main road but looked run down inside and had boarded up windows to the rear of the building. Lovely old building which just needed some general TLC inside

I didn’t get a wink of sleep fighting outside the building was horrendous it was going on for quite a while kept me awake

Nice warm welcome on arrival. We stayed in room 20 In the Annexe. The room was basic but very clean with a nice shower room. There was a kettle with milk and coffee, iron and 2 adjustable radiators. Free gated Parking at rear. Local shops and restaurants near by.
Payed in advance via Booking.com but was told a payment was due on arrival, the issue was sorted quickly but be aware!! Rear of pub has a sitting area which some guests may find a bit noisy. No breakfast available.
2.9
There was urine on the toilet seat and water on the bathroom floor. There was also no soap and I think a hotel should provide basic essentials like soap.
2.9
Someone entered my room early to clean and we were asleep
Changing rooms as tv didn’t work

Worst hotel ever
Everything

The room and staff on check were lovely.
The absolute rude staff early Sunday morning,
Clashing glass bottles in the bin underneath window and smoking underneath window, was woken choking on smoke and noise was ridiculously loud so loud I left the property.
