Nice stay in good hotel with great view

Great location in city centre overlooking the Alps. Private parking behind the hotel. Including balcony. (we were located at the frontside. Great garden with swimming pool, sauna and cosy sitting/lounge areas outside. Daily renew of towels. Restaurant is from another owner and very nice as well. Good food and not too complex menu 😊.

The beds/matras in the apartment are a bit outdated.

Comfortable stay in a scenic place

Pleasant, always helpfull staff, wonderfull facilities with a cute, retro-tasty decor. Hotel's in a scenic place!

Breakfast had a good range of items (especially muselis!), I would have loved even more if some more vegetables and fruits were available.

Een mooi gelegen tussenstop op onze terugreis, met een heerlijk ontbijt.

De locatie lag gunstig op onze terugreis, na het rijden van de Route Napoleon en voor het bezoeken van Alpe d'Huez.

De badkamer was heel erg klein vergeleken bij de ruime kamer.

Magical, modern vintage hotel with absolutely everything you could ever need in one place.

Beautiful quirky property with many unexpected wonderful surprises. Facilities are amazing if you want a relaxing holiday or if you are out for adventure and are a cycling fanatic. This is the perfect location. Great size pool with all sorts of bed and comfy areas to sun bath. Its kid friendly. There is even an outdoor sauna overlooking the stream that runs long side the hotel. Just beautiful. If you are a cyclist, there are assigned areas to store your bike securely along with a gym and other facilities that will make your cycling experience more comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel and I will definitely be back :)

Perfect and very comfortable location and hotel in the centre, could stay there for weeks!

Perfect location in the centre to start different ways of moving around. Apartment was super spacious and comfortable, with a good bed and all facilities needed. Quiet and relaxing to stay. Sublime breakfast. A lot of common space inside and outside to use and relax. Feels like your are home, very cosy and home-feeling atmosphere even though it's bike. Basement with bike storage possible. Nice restaurant attached or plenty of possibilities in town.

Exceptional

This was the perfect place to stay for a cycling holiday in the French Alps. The hotel was equipped with everything you could possibly need for an adventurous holiday, plus lots of little extras to keep you entertained. I cannot express enough how wonderful all the staff were, helpful, friendly, informative and entertaining. Someone was always on hand to help if you needed something. The breakfast was delicious, and the cleaning staff did a wonderful job at keeping our room spotless day in day out. We had the best time staying here, and we are both already thinking about when we might be able to come back. Thank you so much.

very confortable and laid back hotel downtown bourg.

Just perfect. Laid back atmosphere, with nice and cosy communal spaces. garage to safely store your bikes. swimming pool as a bonus. basic room, but spacious and clean. large garden to find a spot to read or rest. massage room. staff and owners know the area very well. Downtown, yet quiet. mountain views from my window. the list goes on, to sum up: all you need for a cycling weekend. or if you just want a comfy hotel.

Breakfast was quite good, lots of choices, but I found it a bit hard to have a breakfast low on both sugar and saturated fat. that is an issue for me in almost any hotel.

Great hotel in a great location from which to enjoy the mountains

A great location in the heart of Bourg d’Oisans with easy access to cycling, walking and a choice of eateries. The hostess is wonderful, helpful and multi-lingual and she has kitted the 1930s hotel out with a wide selection of period artefacts.

The mattress was a little tired leading to my wife and eye rolling towards the middle of the bed at times.

It's the cutest hotel in the most beautiful town in France I have ever seen. The staff are incredibly friendly and the breakfast was fantastic! My husband and I enjoyed our stay the first day so much that we booked a second night!

To be honest, the shower wasn't very clean upon our arrival. There was hair on the walls and in the drain. But, the bathroom itself was beautiful! It may have been rushed, as we were accommodated for an early check-in which was a plus! Everything else was immaculate.

Authentic French Style Hotel at the Heart of the Alps

Very friendly staff & accommodating. The design of the hotel was very authentic and made us feel like we were at home. The appartments were comfortable and modern with the rest of the hotel being an old french style. Couldn’t recommend it enough. Just outside of the resort so it’s not too touristy but still close enough to just jump in the car up to ski. Will definitely be back - nothing to fault and it completely exceeded all our expectations.

Happy, relaxed, fun, nothing too much trouble and a truly delicious breakfast!!!

It was fabulous! So much character l, so clean and so homely - a real gem! There was plenty of space to relax and some fantastic games you play. All very comfortable. Madame Crystelle was absolutely lovely. Nothing too much trouble for her and such an interesting lady to chat to. Really highly recommend and will 100% be going again! simply awesome!

The best place we stayed during a 3 week trip.

Old world charm with modern touches in the room. Antiques everywhere including a museum quality antique elevator. Very spacious grounds with street level patio on a Main Street in old town.

If you want a break from boring hotels, this is your place to spend a few days and enjoy the area.

The hotel has several areas for socialising or just sitting, reading and having a beverage. The furnishings were wonderful, it is a one of a kind hotel, not the boring big hotel chain style. The breakfast buffet was a winner and the dining room very inviting. I also took advantage of the free parking on the property. A great owner of a wonderful hotel. I will gladly stay here again.

Fantastic one of a kind place to stay!

Wow we are so pleased we decided to stay. Perfect location, easy parking, modern and clean, well equipped room. Great breakfast selection. Loved the decor and personal touches throughout the hotel. Thanks for being a wonderful host and making the hotel a special place to stay. I also appreciated you organizing the massage for me at short notice and it was a bonus being at the hotel. We didn’t have time to use the sauna but what an amazing location next to the river. We’d love to come back again one day.
