L'accueil, la chambre et sa localisation aux portes du vieux Matera. Lit confortable et équipements de qualité. Endroit plutôt romantique !

Pas de porte pour les toilettes. Notre IA Alexa parlait allemand et impossible de lui faire changer de langue. Un peu drôle quand même mais c'est passé avec Google translate 😅

Soggiorno fantastico!

Posizione davvero ottima, centralissima, a 2min a piedi dai Sassi. Mariela è estremamente gentile: ci ha accolti nei migliori dei modi, dato indicazioni utilissime per visitare la città. Camera molto bella, dotata di tutti i comfort. La mancanza della colazione è compensata dalla macchinetta del caffè in camera accompagnata da qualche snack dolce/salato offerto dalla struttura. Parcheggio disponibile in strada davanti alla struttura con pagamento facilissimo tramite app.

Ci vorrebbe un maggior occhio di riguardo ai dettagli durante la pulizia (macchie di calcare sul rubinetto della vasca e polvere in alcuni angoli della camera). Un piccolo consiglio: aggiungerei qualche tovagliolo nell'angolo colazione.

Bellissimo soggiorno ci ritornerei

Stanza splendida e originale con un arcata sempre fatta di sassi, pulita e curata con la possibilità di fare una tisana la sera oppure un caffè la mattina . Silenziosa e rilassante a due passi dal centro e dai sassi . La signora mia ha fornito indicazioni sul bar vicino e qualche ristorante sempre in zona .

Comfortable, clean, very friendly and welcoming staff

Very clean, close to all the sites. Mariela was so welcoming and gave us multiple routes to take to see all the main sites. She was so nice and accommodating and answered all our questions!

Capodanno a Matera

Mi è piaciuta l'accoglienza di Bibiana e la sua disponibilità e la posizione della struttura rispetto al centro .

Non mi è piaciuto molto la presenza di qualche ragnatela ... odio i ragni !!! E l'assenza del servizio colazione ..

Best location-Great staff

Staff was Fantastic, Especially Bibiala who treated us like family. The property was the closest you can get to the Historic Sassi sites. TWO THUMBS UP!

Die Lage war ideal, 2 min von der Altstadt. Parken ging auch super. Mit der Easypark App kann man gut und günstig parken. Wenn man Glück hat direkt beim Hotel.

Charme et situation géographique parfaite

Chambre impeccable et pleine de charme Beaux volumes et belle baignoire. Belle situation géographique à matera , l’établissement est situé à 50m à pied de l’entrée de la vieille ville …TOP!!!

Misleading photos on the app. Better call the property first and have them send you the actual room they will give you p

The property is newly renovated, modern, and spotless clean.

For the price they are asking for, it doesn’t fit the value they’re offering. For these reasons: 1) We arrived at the property and was given a different room as from the photos posted and as to what we paid and have confirmation for. The property manager even told us if we didn’t like the room they’re giving we are free to cancel and look for another place to stay at (after driving for hours from Bologna to Matera and all we want to do is to rest) and after wishfully expecting a first great night for our honeymoon. 2) For the price paid for a night (162,40€ per night discounted price for Genius member, otherwise around 200€ per night) - at least a breakfast could have been offered. 3) We were asked the main door should be left open (it’s basically opening to the street) and we are left with only glass door and a curtain as security/protection from the outside street. 4) Parking space: free if you’re lucky to find one. Otherwise, you have to pay. 5) Service: the receptionist was arrogant as we communicate the misleading photos on booking and actual room they gave to us. Instead of having sympathy towards our dismay, she’s turning tables to us and trying to send us to go find another place to stay for the night (and again, we drove for hours to get to what we dreamed for our first honeymoon night). My husbands thoughts: The room is too humid, and the noise from the street is infiltrating inside the room (since the front door is open)

Séjour de charme proche d’un site d’exception.

Location très confortable dans une maison ancienne ;décoration fort originale avec une baignoire sympa dans la chambre. Belle situation très proche des Sassis.

Fenêtre ouvrant sur une rue au rez-de-chaussée devant donc être occultée.

It’s perfect just a design malfunction for me.

New and in a very cool cave very comfortable (except in the bathroom). Ideal location

The design of the toilet. Glass walls in a bedroom, you are able to see through while your parter doing their business. There is no need for that even on a romantic staying everyone needs a a bit of privacy at times…

Great location, clean, lovely staff, and of course, the huge bathtub 😍

No big deal, but the ceiling seems to be very thin so don't be surprised if you hear the neighbors (especially if they have kids 😅)

Exceptional

Firstly, Serena was an amazing host. She was very accomodating with our arrival times, ensuring early check in and went through a detailed map recommending restaurants and sites to see in Matera which was so helpful as we only had 1 night! The rooms are very clean and modern and have a built in bath which was awesome! The room is super close to the Sassi!

The perfect base to explore Matera

We loved everything about our stay, the lovely warm welcome from Paolo with so much helpful information and the super-modern stylish room so well designed and kitted out with simple but high quality fittings and furnishings. It’s also a brilliant location, you can park easily on the road and in just a few minutes’ walk the iconic sight of Matera’s Sassi opens up before you inviting you to explore. I was originally keen to stay in one of the cave hotels in the Sassi but I’m so glad we chose Hydria Rooms, simply the best!

great place to experience the magic of Matera

Paolo was a great host, location was great for exploring Matera. Paolo helped us find a free parking spot.

Curtain instead of a bathroom door. Coffee was provided, which was lovely, but a bit of milk, even the long life kind would have been even better.
