This beachfront home was the perfect getaway for our family and our four-legged friend. If you enjoy the Oregon coast but not all the people, you'll love this place. The walk to the beach from the front door takes only a minute. We will definitely be back to this place.

Great location … super quiet. The house itself could use a little TLC. The kitchen was pretty well stocked as far as pots, pans and dishes go, but we had to go shopping and buy salt and pepper, oil, etc. the walk to the beach is short and it’s an awesome beach.

You could not ask for a better location. The homeowners clearly have an eye for interior design with the interior updates and thoughtful use of space. It has everything you need and more. It's chic while still be peaceful and comfortable. The house is cozy with exceptional use of space. What an absolute treasure! If you are fortunate enough to find availability, book ASAP. It's a rare find!

The location is fantastic. We enjoyed our stay.

Another wonderful stay at this beachfront home! I appreciate being steps from beach and having the most beautiful sweeping view of Cape Meares right in the living room. I hope to be back soon!

We spent four nights here and didn't want to leave! The exterior is a little rough, but the inside is charming and cozy. We loved eating breakfast at the front window looking out on the breathtaking view. The wifi worked great. The kitchen is well-appointed, and it was clean. Be aware the there isn't central heating, but there are a few space heaters and the wood burning stove. Checkin and checkout were easy and painless. Low cell coverage in the house, but if you switch your phone over to wifi calling that's not a problem. Overall a comfortable place. We hope to be back someday!

The location of the home is excellent .. the beach is just a few feet away… we loved it ! The sunsets were truly amazing. The key pad did not work … thankfully we had enough signal to call for assistance and were able to use a key that was on the porch that is used by the housekeeper's. The house did not have proper heating, we had to use all the portable heaters available to stay warm. I think if heating is an issue then fire wood should be supplied by the owner. The home itself could use some updates but in general it’s a great place. Lots of books for the kids to read.
4.8
Excellent beach access! Quiet area. No cell service and no services locally. We planned ahead and did grocery pick up at Safeway in Tillamook.

We loved the location and house BUT the mini split was the only source for heat and the heat wasn’t working with the nighttime temperatures in the low 40’s. There were 3 small space heaters and 1 was broken as well. The freezer wasn’t working properly either. Lost about $25 in frozen food. Last but not least the main bathroom appeared spotless but had the worst body odor smell. Everything was clean but near the toilet was where the smell was emanating from. If those 3 things were resolved it would of been the perfect trip!

For a little old beach house it’s decorated with a sophisticated eye for design. Loved having an entry way to keep sand and shoes and coats out of the living spaces. And that porch has the best views! Loved being able to vacation with our dog as well. Great spot!
4.8
We had quite a lot of trouble with the keypad entry. The problem was compounded by the very spotty cell phone service. The house is comfortable and has nice views from the porch and front windows. Bring your own coffee or tea. The house is about 20 minutes from Tillamook, and is not in an area with restaurants or other services. The nearby beach, though, is clean and lovely. Great sunset views from here!

It’s the third time that my wife and I are staying at this place. We bring our dog along and she loves it as much as we do. The sunsets are epic and the deck or indoor bar are the ideal spots to enjoy them. The fireplace makes it extra cozy (make sure to bring wood and matches/lighter because it’s not provided) and the large table is perfect for puzzles or games.
We were unable to login to our Netflix account, probably because the TV/Apple TV are pretty old. Amazon worked fine.
Cape Meares is a quiet community and it offers exactly what we need to disconnect from our busy city lives.

Very quiet and peaceful. Epic sunsets

This was my favorite beach stay yet. There are unobstructed ocean views from inside the house and the beach is literally a 20 second walk out the front door! Very private and quiet place. The house is perfect for 2 children and 2 adults (and a dog!). The tide pools at the south end of the beach were an added bonus!

This was our third time staying here and it never disappoints. The house is adorable and gives all the beachy-relaxation vibes, and the ocean just across the street could not be more convenient.
4.8
Excellent location, well stocked kitchen and living space, adequate internet. There were a few minor things that could have been different or better, but overall, I'd recommend this property and would happily stay there again in the future
4.8
The pros: excellent location on a quiet, long beach; nicely decorated; quiet; very clean; plenty of linens.
The cons: check-out time is 10am too early when they ask you to run the dishwasher and wash the linens then an unsolicited email from Vacasa saying you can check out later if you $$$. Could use some more items in the kitchen like a colander, serving utensils, regular size coffee mugs (not 5oz copper ones)
Overall: would recommend it if you're looking for a quiet getaway on the beach.

Beautiful place on the Oregon coast
Morning coffee while watching a rainbow over the ocean was what we experienced. Two minutes walk to the beach. What could be more wonderful? Beautiful house, perfectly prepared for guests.

I really can't say enough great things about the view. You can enjoy it from anywhere in the main living area and kitchen, very beautiful. We read in some other reviews to bring your own firewood, which we did, and we were very cozy during the chilly parts of our stay with the fire going. I think the queen size bed is some kind of memory foam, and while it's not the tempurpedic I have at home, it was way more comfortable than most rental home beds we've slept in, and we were pleased with it. The apple TV was much appreciated for rainy evenings inside too. We'd love to stay here again!!

There was cleaning that should have been done, bedding, throw on bed was full of sand, and the floor throughout kitchen and entry hall was full of sand, needed to clean before we could use.
Overall house was great location and good size for 2 people, would not try to squeeze more in.
Also the system between VRBO and VACASA sucks and your customer service at VACASA is none existent. I will never rent a Vacasa rental anymore.

We loved the beach location and layout of this house. The only drawback is: make sure to **BRING ample FIREWOOD** -- there is no perceptible heating in the house and it was very cold during our stay (in Feb) without the wood stove. (We are hearty, experienced outdoor types).

Cute little cabin right on the beach
A bit rustic and small with nice remodeled kitchen and amazing views of the ocean and sunset.

I would live here if I could
This place has it all. Spectacular view, easy beach access (directly across the street!) it is beautifully remodeled and decorated, super comfy bed and couch, and the home is just so spacious and thoughtfully laid out - perfect for the two of us. We love the smaller coastal towns, and uncrowded beaches, and this place fit the bill perfectly. Especially for the stormy weekend that we spent there staying cozy inside with the views while making homemade pasta in the lovely kitchen. It was a wonderfully peaceful getaway . Thank you so much for hosting us, we can’t wait to come back!

This is a lovely property suitable for a couple or a small/new family, close to a wonderful beach and in a quiet and peaceful community. We very much appreciated the little things that often go overlooked, such as:
* Just about every type/kind of kitchen utensil and dish one would need to cook a feast. Not to mention the double ovens!
* Heating and ventilation that worked in the bathrooms! So often overlooked on the Oregon coast and so necessary
* The toys and games for kids. While we are childless ourselves, we appreciated how much thought was put into making this cottage feel welcome to kids.
* The Apple TV and extensive DVD collection made it easy to keep occupied during inclement weather.
* All the cleaning supplies were well-stocked, so that we were able to clean up after ourselves.
* Everything was neatly labeled as to where it was supposed to go or how it was to be used. Very thoughtful and appreciated.
We loved this cottage, and will definitely be back. The midcentury-modern-esque design is very attractive, and the proximity to Cape Meares and miles of underutilized beach are amazing. Thank you for allowing us to share your home for our trip.

This is the second time that my husband, our dog and I stayed at this place. We absolutely love the location by the beach and how the house is decorated and set up and that's why we decided to come back. The dining room table is great for puzzles and the fireplace makes this house extra cozy (make sure to bring some firewood with you!).
We've noticed however that the place wasn't as clean as during our first stay and that the kitchen wasn't as well equipped as it used to be.
We enjoyed our stay and hope that the owners bring this place back to its former glory.

The ease ease of access to the beach, views and quiet are wonderful. The cleanliness was not the same this time around though. Floors were dirty, counters and oven were not properly wiped down. No trash can liners or coffee filters. I left a couple for the next guests. Other than that, lovely stay. Thanks again.
