The apartment is in trendy Fitzrovia, in the heart of the West End, a super central location with a villagey feel and Georgian architecture. The numerous media companies based in the area feed into a trendy and vibrant buzz.
You won't get bored in the immediate vicinity. We have heaps of bars, restaurants, supermarkets and great transport links a few minutes away in Tottenham Court Road / Charlotte Street. Loved the location! Lots of shopping and eating options. The apartment was comfortable and clean. Appreciate the comprehensive information that Liz provided on the apartment and the surrounding area. Would highly recommend!

This property had a great location in central London so a short tube ride to most attractions, was reasonably clean, and the property manager is great. The balcony was a plus. Please note you need to bring your own toilet paper! Liz was very responsive and gave us a Deliveroo credit to buy supplies when we were surprised to not find more than half a roll in the apartment. Great place to stay!
4.9
Beautifully located, central to numerous tube stations, great food and pubs nearby.
4.9
Liz a great host. She described everything very accurately.
It was enough space for three of us. The most important that the place close to everything. You can use underground ( it’s 5 minutes walk) or 15 minutes walk to British Museum .
4.9
Apartment building outside corridors not good. A motorcycle was parked in the 7th floor corridor . The apartment inside good. We had a good stay. Good location.
4.9
Loved the apartment! Liz was very helpful and easy to reach. The balcony was a great place to hang out after a long day sight-seeing. Lots of fantastic restaurants just down the street on Charlotte Street. Several metro stations near by to catch different lines around London. Highly recommend it!
4.9
The location is great: lively but not rowdy, less than a mile to the theatre district, a great park, many supermarkets, the end point for the Eurostar/Chunnel, and much more.
We enjoyed sunsets on the terrace and delicious food from the well equipped kitchen.
Comfortable bed (double/full in American speak), excellent hot water, plenty of towels--and the heated towel rack meant they were always dry.
Well thought out furniture, including nesting tables that we could move to where we wanted.
Minor plus: the BT tower made navigating back easy. At the end of the day and tired, well, it's really nice being certain that you're going the right way.
Minor drawbacks: it took us some work to figure out the washer/dryer. The paper instructions are in the bottom drawer. The BT tower construction dominated the view and was not as spectacular as around it.

I wish I could give 10 stars for communication as Liz was fantastic responding to our enquires prior to and during our stay. This apartment is superbly located in the Fitzrovia neighborhood, real close to excellent restaurants, to the bus stops and to tube stations. We love taking the bus most of the time when travelling within the west end and the TFL Go app is easy to use. The apartment was as described, with excellent kitchen utensils and easy to use appliances. Having the patio to check out the outdoors in the morning was great and watching folks navigate a nearby intersection without stop signs was entertaining I must say. I will not hesitate to rent from Liz again, she is top class and excellent to communicate with. 5 stars all the way !!!!!
4.9
The apartment was well presented and only one tube station from Euston and two from Kings Cross. Both are actually walkable. There are plenty of pubs and restaurants within walking distance and some interesting south east asian/Chinese options. The apartment is very near the Post Office/BT/Telecom Tower. Nearest tube stations are Warren Street and Goodge Street. There are some very elegant Georgian townhouses in Fitzroy Square which, I'm afraid, look as they are now offices of one sort or another.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Liz’s property in Fitzrovia. It was perfect walking distance to outskirts of SoHo and Regent’s Park, and the equally popular Oxford Street is a hop, skip, and a jump away, too. Close to Warren Street Station and Warren Street restaurants were a bonus!
The flat was in a quiet building in a quaint neighborhood with all of the amenities of home. Plus, I really enjoyed the full-sized tub for soaking after a long day of touring. A full-sized tub is something that you don’t get in hotels, but at home, which is how we felt at Liz’s place.
Liz, we will be back, for sure!
We highly recommend!!!

This apartment is in a great spot. You sit literally under the BT tower and looking down Fitzroy to the west you have a perfect view of the London Eye. There are 3 different line metros within a few minute walk. Perfect for seeing London!
The Manager was quick to respond and very helpful as my stay was a last minute booking. I highly recommend staying at any of her properties.
4.9
This flat perfectly fit our needs for a weekend in London. It was in great location, near several tube stations, and had some fun local places nearby we enjoyed exploring. Liz was very prompt in communicating with us both before and during our stay. Highly recommend!
4.9
We loved staying here! The location was perfect - close to many Tube stations, easy walk to pubs and restaurants.
Getting the key and getting into the flat was very easy. Liz was great to communicate with.
The patio was a perfect place to unwind! The views are spectacular.
The size was perfect for two people. We are used to sleeping in a king size bed so we did opt to utilize the pull out couch as well.
We would definitely stay here again the next time we are in London.
4.9
The need to go to a location 4 blocks away from the address was quite inconvenient. The information on where to pick up the keys came via email while we were in flight, so we ordered our Uber to the property. My husband stood with the luggage while I walked to get the keys. If we had this information sooner, we would have had the car take us to the key location, then to the property. The flat was clean and comfortable but the hallway of the building was a bit shabby. We loved the area - very close to tube stations and easy to get around.
4.9
Really enjoyed deck. Very private. Reasonable walking to major venues.
4.9
Communication with owner was excellent. Location is very good.
4.9
Works well for 2 people. Close to public transportation. Liz communicated well.
4.9
Liz is a very responsive owner. The flat is very clean and centrally located. This is our 3rd stay and we hope to return for our fourth!
4.9
This is a great flat for a family with one or two kids, or possibly two couples. (Assuming one of them doesn't mind sleeping on a comfortable pull-out sofa.) The private patio offers nice views, and is fantastic for socializing if you have good weather.
Everything was just as described in the listing, Key pickup was simple and there are several nearby markets where one can obtain essentials like bread, milk, etc. The building is very secure and the flat is nice and quiet. (No street noise from traffic or bar crowds, etc.)
The owner was very helpful, communicative, and easy to work with. There was a small problem with an interior door handle which we notified her about after our check-in, and she immediately had someone come to fix it.
Lots of good neighborhood spots are within a two-minute walk: excellent Vietnamese restaurant, splendid pub, and an awesome French bakery to name a few. Many more options just a bit further down the road.
Simple, safe, and straightforward. Thank you for a wonderful stay in London.
4.9
The flat is really near the sub and the center by foot.
Just perfect 👌
4.9
Well stocked, comfortable place to stay in the city.
4.9
We absolutely adored the neighborhood and were quite comfortable in Liz's quiet, clean flat. The terrace was a wonderful amenity; we enjoyed many meals al fresco! The flat itself was well laid out and full of light. A very simple setup here -- but we had everything we needed for a very pleasant weeklong stay with our 9-year-old, and Liz was a responsive and solicitous host.
4.9
The unit is on the top floor taking west sun through the windows. The unit does not have AC. My daughter is pregnant and it was miserably hot. With cooler weather it would be a nice reasonable place to stay. The host was very helpful…
4.9
We enjoyed our stay in this rental, and would gladly return to it on future trips to London. The terrace was a nice touch. The weather during our stay was a bit cool to make use of it, but the top-floor location certainly made the apartment nice and bright. The apartment and building were very quiet.
We liked the central but not touristy neighborhood, which was animated (lots of young people) but not noisy at night. Getting around on foot or via mass transit was simple. There are a goodly number of shops and restaurants close at hand.
Liz was a responsive and accessible host, and contacted us as needed to make sure everything was going well. She graciously allowed us to check in as early as possible. Her online instructions covering topics renters might need to know were very helpful.
4.9
Enjoyed 4 nights in London staying here. Great location just away from busy crowded tourist areas with excellent tube and walking access. Great communication and responsiveness from the host.
4.9
Liz's apartment is a walk to everything a tourist will love to see in London. Convenient also to a number of tube stations, some great restaurants and a buzzing local neighbourhood. Great communication, smooth check-in / check-out process. Recommend.
4.9
Stayed in Liz's beautiful flat for 6 nights during the holiday week. I wanted to be in a place where my friend and I could live like locals for a week and be close to everything we wanted to see, and this location really delivered. Though I had been to London several times, I was unfamiliar with the Fitzrovia neighborhood, but I was pleasantly surprised. It is a great location -- just a few blocks north of Soho. The flat is within easy walking distance to several tube stops (Warren Street, Goodge Street, Great Portland Street) so just about every line is an option. There are amazing restaurants nearby and good grocery stores and delivery options also. Fitzrovia is walkable to the British Museum, Oxford Street shopping, Leicester Square, and the West End theaters. Liz's place is clean and very comfortable. One of us slept in the bedroom and the other on the sofa bed. There was a washer/dryer which allowed us to pack a little lighter. It's a top floor apartment, but the lift is right there and made for quick entrance and exit. It all seems very safe -- the neighborhood and the building itself. The terrace may have been the best part. We watched the NYE fireworks from there which was really great because we did not want to deal with the crowds.
Liz is an amazing host. She provides incredibly detailed instructions and information long before you arrive which made it very easy to make plans and gave us the peace of mind of knowing exactly how to get there from the airport and where to pick up keys. Liz was available to us by phone or email for the entire week and checked in to make sure everything was ok.
When I return to London, I will check availability at this location first. I would stay there again in a minute, especially if my trip is longer than a few days or if I'm planning a trip during a warmer time of year -- that terrace is an oasis in a busy city.
4.9
Fantastic location! Liz recommends good restaurants, but there are many others close by. I liked Ragam and Cafe Rio. The deck is fantastic. Even in December, tea was enjoyed on the expansive deck where the telegraph tower dominates (makes it easy to find the VRBO) and one can enjoy the view of the London Eye. Well equipped and comfortable. The instructions Liz provided to self access the unit were quite detailed, facilitating finding and entering the unit.
4.9
Walk to almost everywhere.
4.9
Great location. Flat as described by owner.
4.9
The property was exactly as listed. It was very clean, quiet and well located. Oxford street is about ten minutes away walking. Tube stations close by. The owner was easy to communicate with.
My problem was that the elevator did not work for half of my stay. The flat is on the 7th floor (8th by American standards). It was a hard walk, especially with luggage. I left a day early and the owner gave me a generous credit.
4.9
Very bright! Large windows and patio door brightens up the apartment even on cloudy days. The outside terrasse is awesome. The apartment is very well located, close to everything: tube station, restaurants, Soho… would rent again. Thanks Liz.
4.9
Loved the location
Especially loved the outside deck
4.9
Excellent flat in excellent location, disappointing presentation. After 35 hours travel from Australia, flat had nothing- not even bin liner or toilet paper ( about quarter of a roll). After all that travel, I had to go back out to buy a bin liner and toilet paper. Most places we have stayed also have a couple of sachets of tea, coffee, sugar. Nothing here, and despite stove, not even basic salt, pepper, oil.
Not any detergent for clothes washer. So, a beautiful flat but it seems little consideration for guests.
Just a note- cold water in shower not working properly, bath plug does not plug bath, and kettle lid does not close-so no auto turn off was fine for us, but a fire hazard. Cheers
4.9
I came to London for the first time for my friend's wedding. They suggested that I stay in the Fitzrovia area for convenience and proximity to their flat. Everything was great! Perfect size for me since I planned on seeing sights in the area and not spending a lot of time at the unit Also loved the convenience to the tube stations and shops in the area to buy toiletries and what not. I was thankful to be able to check in a bit early, too!
4.9
The location was ideal for our needs, the flat is nice and well equipped. Note that in summer it can be hot as situated at the top floor. Overall very good memories
4.9
Amazing location and phenomenal terrace
We loved the location and the unit, the terrace was large and a very fun place to watch out over the city. We saw some incredible sunsets. Kitchen was well appointed.
4.9
Transit-friendly Area with Great Sunsets
Comfy, clean, easy to access. Near multiple tube stops and Euston station. Beautiful view of the sunset from the cute patio/balcony. Lots of places nearby to walk to for all the basics and more.
The common areas are a bit iffy, but the flat itself was lovely.
Be ready for youthful energy and noise!
Clear communication from the host, though keep in mind you'll need to send your photo id beforehand! It was a last-minute ask for us, though it was helped by an offer of early check-in.
It's a tight fit for 3-4 folks, but that's to be expected for a London flat located in such a great location.

Fantastic Location, and a great place to stay
Very happy we stayed at this penthouse. The location was great, walking distance to great pubs, restaurants, shops and the underground. Comfortable beds and useful kitchen. We especially enjoyed drinking a cocktail or two on the private patio after a long day of sightseeing. Would definitely book here again and recommend to friends and family.
