Locality OK.
Everything already said in previous references is so true and is just my problem that I didn't read them before. I wish the only thing about this had been the previously both-agreed small space for 3 people.

Shortly:
- hard to find
- very moldy
- very smelly
- bed sheets were so smelly that it was impossible to lay there
so...:
First of all it was not easy to find and the surrounding is really ugly and there were a lot of trash.
In the room was a lot of mold and the smell was really bad. We are students and don't have a lot of money, so we thought the price is very nice, but it isn't. There are different places which are much better. We left the Wild Rose and went to another place instead. Although there were mold, we didn't get our money back.
I hope the wild rose will improve some day. But for today I can't recommend it.

Nice experience on the Jerusalem Hill. Cozy cottage with fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. Heater in bathroom can save warmness in the apartment pretty well. Recommended for one night stay. Best price/quality option so far!
Portative heater doesn't work.

You'll like this place if price is your number one consideration. You get a lot of space for one person with a truly great bathroom that's clean and thoughtfully laid out. There are basic kitchen facilities so you can save money and prepare or reheat your own food. The entrance is private and it's a really quiet neighbourhood except for some noisy construction from 10-11 p.m. the first night. Interesting location, feels almost like a small village tucked away in the city. Walking distance to Malcha Mall, though the walk back is very steep uphill. It was the best price I could find in Jerusalem for the days I was staying.
There's no air conditioner, the "bed" (really just a mattress) is horribly uncomfortable, and the location is way out of the centre of town. Plus, though the place was very clean, there's a terrible basement smell of mildew.
AIR CONDITIONER - Usually in Jerusalem you don't need an air conditioner, but here there's only one tiny window that lets in no air. And if you leave the window open, there's no privacy, and anyone walking past can look in while you're changing, sleeping, etc. A sheer curtain is provided but the wind blows it around so you feel like you're on display while you sleep. And the open window couldn't put a dent in the terrible musty smell.
BED - The bed is ridiculous, just a flimsy 2-inch cotton mattress on a hard wooden platform. Only one pillow is provided and very basic sheets. If you're renting out a room, the very minimum people want is a good night's SLEEP.
LOCATION - As for the location, you won't be in central Jerusalem or anywhere near it. There are decent buses to the centre of town just a few minutes away, but it's not walking distance away unless you want a VERY long and yucky walk. I knew that going in, just be aware that you'll have to make your own way around the city by bus or car.
HOSTS - Finally, the hosts forgot I was coming and had to scramble to get the place ready. They were apologetic and did it very quickly, and it was quite clean, but I had to sit outside waiting in the heat for about 10-15 minutes while they fixed it up. There were no problems after that.
If price is your only or primary consideration, you might want to ignore these minuses and stay here anyway. I probably won't again.

Everything was fine, tidy, clean. Perfect arrangement, a quiet place that looks worse in the photos than it really is. We would certainly appreciate a more comfortable bed - in a small reconstruction it would certainly work :) But cool, we knew in advance that it will be like that, it is mentioned in the description. So no problem. Recommended!
