About this apartment rental
One of two "treehouse" units! Cozy room for 2.
14 miles to Yellowstone Park. Sits at base of private mountain. Beautiful views!
The cabin sleeps 2 in one queen bed. Bed and bath linens are provided.
Note: Mini Fridge, microwave, toaster and small coffee maker only. This unit does not have a full size kitchen or laundry. Basically, this unit is a private, cute, hotel-room-size suite. There are no pots, pans, dishes, etc.
We have other full size cabins that sleep 6 and have a private hot tub. If your group consists of several families perhaps renting one of our other cabins in addition would work for you! (cabin searches #729724 or #875127) Our other "treehouse" is listing #1713755.)
Satellite TV is provided. (Dish Network)
Reliable land-line internet/wi-fi provided.
The Island Park area is famous for world-class fishing on the Henry's Fork of the Snake River, the nearby Madison River and Henry's Lake. Summer activities include excursions to Yellowstone Park, Harriman State Park or Hebgan Lake. Perhaps you prefer to pack a picnic and hike or bicycle up the private mountain behind the cabin. We recommend you take time to view Mesa Falls waterfall, drive to the top of Sawtelle mountain, float the river from Big Springs to Macks Inn, visit the Johnny Sack historic cabin and of course take a moment to just relax and breath!
Our family welcomes you to Island Park....our little piece of heaven!

This treehouse was super clean, cozy, and had everything you need for a base camp while visiting YNP. The location is just outside of the West access to the park, and away from all the "busy" that comes with tourist attractions. We would definitely stay here again, and would recommend to friends and family members that would like to experience what YNP has to offer, without paying ridiculous prices for lodging on the park itself.

We had a great stay at this cabin for our 10 year anniversary. Everything was perfect! Would highly recommend staying here.

Perfect for two people! We flew into Salt Lake and it was a lovely drive to the cabin. We arrived after dark so it was just a bit hard to find but the directions Rena provided were on the money. Easy 15 minute drive to West Yellowstone and the park’s west entrance. We enjoyed being out from the crowds in west Yellowstone. Saw beautiful sunsets from the porch and enjoyed some of the local sights recommended by Rena! This is a livery rustic cabin for 3. Not fancy but had exactly what we needed!
I would recommend to any of my friends going to Yellowstone!

The cabin was just as described and had everything we might have needed. It is far enough away to relax but close to the activities we wanted to do.

This cabin is perfection. Everything you need, extremely clean and just gorgeous. Property owner went above and beyond. Our 30th wedding anniversary trip was amazing. We even spent one day just hanging out in the cabin. Loved Yellowstone Playhouse, recommended by the owner, it did not disappoint.

very clean, cozy spot about 15 minutes from the West Yellowstone entrance. would stay here again if I happen to be back in the area!

Although this place may not be for everyone it was perfect for my wife and I. Reasonable distance from Glacier and some good eats (2 great breweries nearby). Had a fridge which we needed. They even left us some bear spray which we appreciated. We crashed every night due to all the hiking and exploring.

We thoroughly enjoyed the cozy 1-room cabin when we visited Yellowstone National Park. It was clean, had everything we needed plus a great trail hike up the mountain with lovely views and wildflowers.

We absolutely enjoyed everything about this cabin! What a wonderful week, so clean, well appointed and wonderful view. Peaceful and quiet, could park right outside our front door! And DARK skies at night...we could see ALL the stars...even the Milky Way!! ❤ We slept with the shutters open and could look at the stars from the bed!! Amazing. Not only stars but SUNSETS!! I wish that I could post pics of the sunset...you would book your stay just for that!
It is right off the highway into West Yellowstone and the West park entrance, 15 minutes and we were inside the park. If we ever make it back to Yellowstone...this is absolutely where we will stay. Host was awesome too!

The cabin was spotless, very cozy. Great location to entrance of west Yellowstone about 10-15 min drive. We enjoyed having coffee on the front porch watching the Elk on the hillside across the street. Bed was comfortable, has fridge, microwave and coffee pot.

My husband and i stayed here for our trip to Yellowstone. Its a short drive to west yellowstone, but totally worth being out of town and in the quiet. The host was awesome and very easy to communicate with. I would totally come back the next time im in the area and stay longer!

Perfect cabin for two when visiting Yellowstone National Park. Cabin was immaculate and had everything we needed and more. Short drive to the park each day and a wonderful place to come back to each evening! The only thing missing was a toaster. We would definitely stay here again.

Property was incredibly clean and beautiful. Close to everything! Only regret is I should’ve stayed there longer

We enjoyed the little cabin. It had everything we needed except a shower curtain. We used extra towels on the floor to try and keep things dry 😆
Other than that it was perfect!

Wonderful place to stay, clean, and very well maintained. Cool little cabin. If there were any complaints it would be road noise. However this would not deter me from staying again.

This property exceeded my expectations. The treehouse was very nice. It had everything you needed. The house was spotless and very comfortable. All the amenities were top notch. The deck out the back with a great view of Henry’s Lake was wonderful. I would definitely recommend this to anyone and I would definitely stay there again.

This property and and host was absolutely awesome. The host was very friendly, accommodating, and reactive to our needs/questions. The cabin was beautiful as were the views of the mountains and the close proximity to West Yellowstone make this property ideal. The next time we visit Yellowstone I will hopefully be able to rent o e of the owner’s cabins again!

This treehouse retreat was perfect for my husband and I. We thoroughly enjoyed the sunrises & sunsets on the back deck, accommodations were perfect. The only caveat was the treehouse was built to close to the road. It's a very busy road with big trucks & vehicles travelling up and down the road and the noise when sitting on the deck can be a bit much. Otherwise, perfect accommodations. We would rebook for another time.

This was a great spot for exploring West Yellowstone. The cabin is cozy, but pefect fot the two of us. Views from the porch are spectacular. Even better if you hike up the old ski hill out back. Would definitely return and recommend.

We had arrived late the day we checked in, but we understood the check out time was 11:00 AM. While we were ready to leave at around 10:45 AM, we heard the housekeeping ladies honking the horn outside of the cabin. We would have thought the proper way for them to remind us about the check out time would be coming up to knock on the door, and then we would be happy to tell them we were ready to leave for them to claen the room. We thought it is a very rude way for housekeeping to address the customers.

Beautiful little studio cabin. Very simple, but had every thing we needed, plus the deck overlooking the mountains, valley and Henry's Lake was a special bonus. Location was perfect, being only 13 miles from Yellowstone.
We would have loved to hike to the top of the hill behind the cabin or to have used the fire pit, but both were still covered in snow.
Would recommend to our friends.

We loved our stay in the mountains outside of Yellowstone. The unit is perfect. Only weird part was the barn door to the bathroom - no noise cancelling lol. However the fan in the bathroom was very loud so that did help!

The cabin was amazing! Spotlessly clean, well appointed, excellent use of space and conveniently located to West Yellowstone.

Such a cute log cabin. This cabin was super clean and so well decorated. While inside, we enjoyed the quiet and there are many amenities.
Unfortunately, being just above a main highway, it was quite noisy on the porch. One thing to be aware of is the electrical station across the road which has bright lights all night. This made it difficult to star gaze. If you don't care about using the porch, then there are absolutely no negatives. That being said, if we ever returned to the area, we would stay here again.

This little cabin was super clean(probably the cleanest cabin I've ever stayed in and very cute. Short drive to west yellowstone. Sitting on the porch for my morning coffee was the best. We saw deer and a baby bear right outside the cabin as well. I will say, the road to the cabin is rocky and I wouldn't suggest trying to get a low riding car up the hill to the parking, you might bottom out, but we had no trouble with a simple SUV. Trip was amazing and we would recommend this cabin to anyone

Property clean, our days were spent in the park, not much time at the rental accept for sleeping. Worked well for us.
