other than the disappointment of "paying twice " for breakfast - fine.

Beds set out as requested

When I booked with Booking.com the option I chose included breakfast. On arrival I was told this was not the case and had to pay for breakfast.

All expected parts were good, but service was hit and miss. Payment issue was not good!

The hotel was very convenient, the rooms were clean and the beds very comfortable. The food was just above expectations.

The check-in was very slow. We were upsold a glass of wine which was more expensive than any I've paid for elsewhere. The pre-authorised payment was not cleared for 4 days from my bank due to a glitch in their system and even when contacting the manager, I didn't even receive a written apology. So no brownie points there.

Smart and modern hotel, great location at M40 Junction 4.

Felt like a new hotel as it was completely refurbished last year. Staff were excellent. Room was comfortable. Great location for driving into London.

Amazing location - amazing staff

We stay here every year at least once. My wife LOVES this hotel. Amazing location. Rooms are nice and clean and AC is always strong and cools the room well, staff are so friendly. Special props to “Aleksandra” I think her name was that checked us in. Her and another young English girl (sorry forgot her name) - but, the friendliness at this hotel by reception staff is always top notch. Props to the manager for getting the right people in this place.

Overall very impressive

Very good , only concern was we were not advised of the availability of specially cooked options like omelettes as example and only learnt about it when it was offered to other guests when it was too late for us .

The fact there were no morning papers to read in the hotel whatever so ever !! We were told that most guests read news these days on their phones but ‘ us ‘ oldies like the old fashioned daily paper .

We had dinner and breakfast. Great varied choice @ breakfast. Super friendly staff in the evening. Only downfall was no cash transactions so that I could tip our waiter

I booked a twin room for my sisters 40th celebrations. On arrival we were told that we did not have a twin room so were moved to a different room ( room 39) but the room was very small and the beds were uncomfortable

Overall a good enough experience.

Perfect location

The air con didn’t seem to work so it was too hot in the room. The extractor in the en-suite room was not working so it got too steamy while showering.

Rooms need serious maintenance. No safe box, no mini bar and door lock doesn't operative. Internet wasn't connected to smart tv. By far from Holiday Inn quality standards.
