Nos ha gustado mucho el alojamiento. Las instalaciones son bonitas y están bien organizadas. Nuestra habitación (con vista al mar) era espaciosa, bien decorada y cómoda. Hemos buceado todos los días y el resort tiene la suerte de tener una escuela de buceo dentro pero también tiene un embarcadero donde otras escuelas pueden ir a recogerte (nosotros, por ejemplo, buceamos con otra por decisión personal). El hotel cuenta con unos 3 restaurantes que tienen buena comida pero un poco subida de precio.
Nos ha gustado casi todo. Quizá solo unas sugestiones. 1) La cama es (para mi gusto) demasiado blanda y el colchón se hundía un poco. 2) Los restaurantes dentro del hotel tienen unos precios un poco desorbitados para lo que se ofrece. Aunque la comida está buena, los precios no están alineados con lo que se ofrece en algunas ocasiones. 3) Quise usar el spa y darme un masaje pero de nuevo, creo que los precios estaban desorbitados (185 eur por un masaje de una hora).

La playa de este hotel es de las más bonitas y tranquilas para nadar, es un hotel muy agradable con instalaciones de primer nivel, la comida de los restaurantes y el buffet en general era muy bueno, además que puedes contratar en el mismo hotel actividades recreativas.

El staff es increíblemente amable. Siempre nos vamos de Cozumel con el corazón lleno porque la gente es de verdad muy linda. El hotel también es muy bonito.
Lamentablemente tengo algunos puntos negativos que destacar. Primero, no tienen opciones veganas en ninguno de sus restaurantes. Es realmente frustrante como vegano que en todos los restaurantes incluido room service tienes que conformarte con lo que te puedan ofrecer que casi siempre deja muchísimo que desear y por un precio EXCESIVO. En uno de sus restaurantes tienen un sushi vegetal y hasta ahí. Lo mismo en el buffet del desayuno.
Dicho esto, mi segundo comentario sobre la comida es la mala calidad. Nunca comimos delicioso y los precios son excesivos.
Además, todos los días matábamos dentro de nuestra habitación al rededor de 30 mosquitos.
No entendíamos por dónde se estaban metiendo.
Teníamos todo cerrado. Lo verificamos muchas veces. La única opción sería que se metieran a través del conducto del aire acondicionado.

Room was lovely and hotel location is good if you don’t mind seeing the cruise ships (which we didn’t). Some staff were lovely (Cynthia, Angel, Cristina, Arturo)
For the eye watering price this hotel was in no way up to scratch. Our check in was good but it was downhill afterwards. Given the room wasn’t ready as we were early we headed for the pool. There were no towels and no apology for that. All the loungers were reserved - the hotel were not managing the fact that people were nervous about not getting a bed when they needed it and so leaving stuff on all day. We were paying over $2000 a night and couldn’t sit down by the pool. The food was exorbitant - we expected that but not that the quality would be so poor. The worst fish tacos we ate in Mexico for 4 times we paid anywhere else. We were asked several times how the hotel could help make our stay great but every time we asked they wouldn’t or couldn’t help. We spent a long time trying to find a morning snorkel trip as the hotel would only offer in the afternoon. We wanted to have s’mores with our son - only $15 per person - but it was all reserved (not that we saw anyone there). Food had not arrived after 40 minutes waiting at lunch so my husband cancelled his order as he had to go. No apology just a statement that they were a little busy (at 3.30pm). I would have expected the rest of the meal to be comped (a kids pasta which had arrived) but not on your life. Turn down service was at 9.30pm - actually getting us out of bed. Reading other reviews online I can see that this is a theme and that the manager does not see the need to change. A shame.

Das Hotel ist sicher eines der besten auf Cozumel und passt von seiner Ausstattung zu anderen vergleichbaren Urlaubshotels der Intercontinental-Gruppe, die ich schon besucht habe (Bali und Fiji). Die Anlage ist architektonisch sehr schön gestaltet, schöne und gepflegte Gartenanlagen und schöner (künstlicher) Strand dafür, dass die Westküste eigentlich steinig ist. Zwei tolle Pools, ein Jacuzzi nur für Erwachsene. Gutes Frühstück im offenen Restaurant am Strand. Zimmer sind groß und schön eingerichtet, genug Stauraum auch für die Koffer ist vorhanden. Das Bad ist groß und die zusätzliche Außendusche ein Highlight. Gutes Housekeeping. Tagsüber stehen kostenfrei Fahrräder zur Benutzung zur Verfügung, mit denen man auch sicher (Fahrradspur auf der Hauptstraße) in den Hauptort fahren kann. Taxis sind immer kurzfristig verfügbar.
Es gibt in der Nähe keine (!) fußläufig erreichbare Möglichkeit zum Einkaufen oder Essen außerhalb des Hotels. Eigentlich verdient das Hotel trotzdem eine 10-Punkte-Bewertung. Grund dafür, dass ich nur 7 Punkte gebe, ist, dass uns das Hotel in der ersten Nacht ein Zimmer gegeben hat, das einen am Geruch sofort und deutlich erkennbaren Schimmelbefall hatte. Es roch wie in dem Kellerraum eines alten Hauses. Die Polster der Möbel im Zimmer waren erheblich verdreckt, eines roch nach altem Bier. Auf den Polsterstühlen waren Flecken wie sie entstehen, wenn sich jemand mit nasser Badehose darauf setzt und das Polster danach weder getrocknet noch gereinigt wird. Wir haben das sofort reklamiert. Die Antwort an der Rezeption war, dass das Problem mit der "Feuchtigkeit" das ganze Hotel betreffe, ein Zimmerwechsel also keinen Sinn mache. Man könne uns aber ein Lufttrocknungsgerät ins Zimmer stellen. Die Klimaanlage lief natürlich sowieso schon. Also kam ein kleines, vergilbtes Standgerät zu uns, das ordentlichen Lärm machte. Nachdem das Gerät zwei Stunden gelaufen war, war eine Besserung (natürlich) nicht zu erkennen. Ich habe dann dem "Supervisor" an der Rezeption erklärt, dass ich ein Zimmer in einem solchen Zustand zuletzt für 30 EUR pro Nacht in einer Provinzstadt in Thailand erlebt habe und ihn gefragt, ob das seiner Meinung nach dem Standard eines Intercontinental Hotels entspricht. Und plötzlich, allerdings erst ab dem nächsten Morgen, stand ein anderes Zimmer der gleichen Kategorie in einem anderen Bereich des Hotels zur Verfügung. Dieses Zimmer war perfekt sauber und hatte keinerlei Feuchtigkeits- oder Schimmelproblem. Ich muss deshalb davon ausgehen, dass das Hotel es eben einfach mal versucht hat, uns das miese Zimmer unterzujubeln und uns dann auch noch mit unserer Reklamation abzuwimmeln. Das war trotz der letztlich gefundenen Lösung nicht in Ordnung, zumal wir eine Nacht in dem Schimmelzimmer schlafen mussten.

Its a little far from city center and need a taxi/car to get around cozumel.
The waters in front of the hotel have busy traffic which makes watersports like jet ski a little limited.

Biggest problem -- my bed had bed bugs which I only realized on check-out day. I thought they were sand fleas but my kids never got the bites I did and mine showed up in the morning. What is SUPER disappointing was that I tried to reach the property via two emails the day I checked out and NEVER got a response. I was worried about another guest staying in the same room and getting bit.

While checking in we were told there was an issue with our room and we were put in a lowers grade room than we booked, but were told we would get an upgrade for the other nights. The first room wasn’t clean, towels and pillows had a weird smell, we couldn’t sleep well. The “upgraded” room were actually the same room that we booked according to the pictures… :/
Whole checking out, the hotel tried to charge us extra $400 than the package we had secured.
We left with a bad taste in our mouth.

Breakfast buffet was fantastic. Great choice. Lovely freshly prepared omelettes. Lots of fruit, yoghurts, nuts, meats, cheeses, pastries etc. Delighted to see they had good range of tea for us Brits, especially the Earl Grey. We were delighted that the staff seemed happy to provide boxes so we were able to take away uneaten food which helped to keep us fed over lunchtime, always a welcome bonus when travelling on a budget!!!!! Rooms were spacious and comfortable with plenty of storage space, coffee maker, mini bar with complimentary drinks. 2 large bottles of water provided daily. Gorgeous pool areas with fabulously warm jacuzzi. Man made beach with easy access to sea which was good for snorkelling. Fab gym facilities with plenty of equipment for a decent work out. Great tennis court. Staff were very efficient and courteous.
Only gripes were the cost of food and drinks. Quite expensive and there’s no bars or restaurants nearby. The addition of tea making facilities for us Brits would have been perfect. Cost of scuba diving and kit hire at in-house dive centre was prohibitive so we arranged our diving through a local tour operator (based in PDC) which was significantly cheaper.

The hotel is excellent. We stayed in the suites in the main building. Everything looked great and new. The view from the room and bathroom was like a painting of the paradise. The breakfast buffet was fresh and the taco and egg station was so tasty.
The only thing was that people put their belongings in the beach chairs and go eat breakfast or something. We watched a few chairs empty just with hats for the whole morning. Not the hotel issue but entitled guests. That should not reserve chairs if they are not coming back.

3-4 things non functional in the room. Hope it was a one off. Shower issue, door issue blinds. Little annoyances. We were barely in the room but with cost and brand it was unexpected to encounter multiple issues. Staff was attentive we just didn’t want to wait around or standby for fixes.

The place is beautiful, well maintained and in a marvelous spot. The mediterranean, Alfredo and Faro are very good restaurants, in alignment with a five star resort.
The service at the caribean restaurant was average, with miscommunication about the prepayment of breakfast. It was a kind of a non necessary bad experience. My suggestion is to train the waiters in a better way.

Sauberkeit und Ästhetik ließ sehr zu wünschen übrig. Equipment stark abgenutzt. (Alle Sitzkissen total verdreckt). Bestuhlung im Frühstücksbereich entspricht nicht dem 5 Sterne Niveau. Bestechend war die Sauberkeit an den Stränden
Die Restaurants waren alle mittelmäßig. Zimmer geräumig. Air Con sehr gut. Tauch Basis sehr enttäuschend. Es wurde uns für einen privaten Schnorcheltrip für immerhin 590€ ein Boot versprochen bei dem mein Mann, der schlimme Knieprobleme hat gut ein und aussteigen kann. Dies war absolut nicht der Fall. Es gab keine!!! Plattform und eine windige Leiter. Von der 3 Schnorchelspots wurde nur 1 angefahren und dann für 25 Minuten. Der Rest des Trips bestand aus „rumtümpeln in einer Lagune. Sehr enttäuschend. Fitness gut. Die Lounge Möbel auf den Terrassen total verschlissen und dreckig. Spa total übertreuert. An der Rezeption 2 mal absolute Fehlinfomationen erhalten z.B. mit absolut hohen Hotelumrechnungskursen von Mexikanischen Dollar in US Dollar
