Easy to get to
They sent me a parking fine when I clearly stayed there over night and gave my registration to reception

Staff lovely. Beds really comfortable. Small rooms but was exceptional value for money.
If I had to find anything it would be rooms on smaller size. But would not put me off staying here again.

Staff were friendly
Place is an absolute dive, needs a revamp & redecorating. Rooms are freezing, bed was uncomfortable & we ended up staying somewhere else cause it was just gross.
What you get for what you pay is absolutely mental, way too overpriced.

Motel style rooms. very quiet despite being in the middle of town. Amazing shower, instant, powerful, controllable, better than places I’ve stayed that charging double. Breakfast was excellent, be sure to pre-order the night before.
Evening meal was unexciting. Some of the decor was tired and worn.

The room was clean, cosy and basic.
The Reception/ bar and restaurant staff and food were terrible. Dinner menu mainly overpriced pizza and desserts on menu not being served. Breakfast pre ordered was dry stiff bacon and sausage, the only freshly cooked ingredient was the fried egg, costing £9.95 which was a big disappointment. Breakfast served up to 11am and I saw five people being turned away at 10am after being told breakfast was finished.
Wine choice of Sauvignon blanc was the only white available and was fizzy tasting as it had sat in the fridge in half full bottle for too long. I did complain at this.
Staff slow and waiting ages before the appeared. The restaurant was empty which is no surprise after tasting food and drinks.

Motel style hotel.
My rating is based on the fact that the price for the room (despite booking months in advance) was hiked up compared to what I know others paid and the average price I can see the rooms cost throughout the year. If I had paid what it’s worth and what it usually is priced at (seems to be around £40) it would’ve received a better rating, but I’ve paid the same for other rooms and stayed in far superior places.

Room was nice and warm, very comfy bed and clean, but a little dated.
Dated room and interior.

Free parking, breakfast, indipendent rooms, causy loby and very kind personel. Very decent, clean and comfortable rooms. Excelent value for money choise.
The only think i would refer to as improvement suggestion is the addition of power plugs next to bed. My room didnf have any.

Good value for money and the staff are very friendly and helpful
Room was clean but was rather dated. Ok for an overnight stop. Surrounding Industrial estate starts just after 6:00 on a weekday so lorries firing up may wake you .

After checking in, I found a few small issues and was able to speak to the manager personally straight away who was respectful and arranged any changes she had said she would. It was a plus to find this hotel employs staff who are not barely out of their teens or trained to be “corporate”. Thus, they have the confidence to deal with issues using their own initiative and provide credible answers!
I really appreciated a reasonably sized bathroom with flexible shower hose. And lots of lighting and mirrors. Other hotels can be stingy with both!
There was always ample parking right outside the accommodation.
The TV did not manage to pick up a number of Freeview channels, though I know that after I raised this with the staff, they did what they could to improve the service, and changed my remote control which helped. We were fortunate with the weather in that it was cool for the time of year, since the window would only open a tiny bit; we would otherwise have had trouble sleeping. (NB: The windows need to have limited opening as they look straight out onto an open walkway so there could be a security risk there. But we had absolutely no incidents.)
One tip; bring an electrical extension lead and USB adaptors.

The location is very quiet albeit quite unusual, in that it seems to be within an industrial estate. It is excellent value for money and it best considered "as a motel", ideal for an overnight stay. It is more than walking distance from the town centre. There is a carvery about 10 mins walk. Breakfast was okay, you have to order the cooked element the night before.
Some people might not like that you cannot walk into town and it's location within the industrial estate can seem a bit "off-putting".

everything ran smoothly
Maybe booking in slightly earlier

The staff's refusal to consider allowing me an early check in. There were rooms available and I even offered to pay, but all I got in return was a not very polite "we can't do that"
Campanile could review thier policy and make guest like me a little happier about the basic conditions on offer at their hotels

There was only one towell in the room, when they knew the room was reserved for two people.
