Lovely hosts, Lovely cottage, Lovely Location.

Location was fantastic for our purpose. Which was solely to climb Ben Nevis. The cottage was warm and cosy easy reach of supermarkets and the town centre especially as we had arrived by train. The cottage had all the facilities we needed. The cottage owners were lovely and welcoming.

If I had to comment on anything - bath sheets would have been better as bath towels are far too small even for my average size adult daughter. (probably could have asked for more and they would have popped some round if needed). Bath is very slippery at shower end (especially after 9 hrs of hiking and very very tired) don't know whether a shower mat could help. These are very minor and would not stop me staying here again it would just enhance it.

Extraordinary Self-Catering Cottage in Fort William.

Beautiful little cottage, kitchen, living room, double bedroom and bathroom downstairs; twin & single rooms upstairs. 10-minute walk to town & station; frequent buses. Landlady (Lyn) and family absolutely lovely, informative and supportive. Well equipped, warm - outdoor seating & laundry drying area. Nothing to nor like! Large restaurant serving breakfast right next door.

The perfect base for our trip. Would absolutely recommend.

The location was fantastic. No more than a 20 minute walk to all the major points in Fort William. Easy to get to and a lovely host. The property was everything we needed and more and had a homely, cosy feel.

Ten minute walk into town, lovely and quiet. Very clean and happy house.

A very nice stay. Recommend to everyone!

The location is really nice - very friendly to those who are climbing Ben Nevis! The house is fully equipped with a fireplace. This is extremely nice to keep warm and have a bunch of friends chatting and relaxing!

Quite comfortable.. Good transport links.. For buses.. A little out of way for trains.. I rather enjoyed it. Lyn,the owner… Was very helpful.. I very much enjoyed the stay! 🤓👍

Got a little too warm at times.. In the place… Road noise of the main road.. Around the corner.. Is a little busy.. But is manageable..

Fort William short stay.

Superb location for climbing Ben Nevis.The cottage was large enough for 5 people and was excellent value for money. It was kept exceptionally clean,a credit to the owners.Would definitely use again in the future.

Great cottage, full range of equipment we needed for self catering and the fireplace was an added value. Great stay!

We didn't know the single bedrooms are upstairs so we couldn't leave our 4 y.o. son there on his own as we were frightened he'd fall down the steep stairs at night. One of us had to sleep there with him.

Good value property, walking distance to centre

A great little property close to the centre of Fort William with all mod cons needed for your stay.

The single bed was a bit creaky and it got really warm upstairs with the hot weather. Windows open was essential

Comfortable, practical, efficient, convenient and calm.

Excellent hosts, very clean and tidy, great location, all the facilities you would want, Would recommend this Cottage to anyone who is climbing Ben Nevis or generally visiting this part of Scotland. Five of us all adults stayed for four days and there was enough hot water, kitchen utensils, towels etc for a comfortable stay. Well done to the host Lynne

Excellent location for Ben Nevis and getting into Fort William town (by foot).

Living room didn’t have enough comfy chairs for 5 (4 only).

Just perfect for what we needed. A short family visit. Very clean and comfortable. Lovely owners.

Perfect location to all the local amenities whilst being a great hub for the local and further afield sights. A warm, clean and tidy property.

We felt that kitchen crockery, pots and pans etc were not very clean and quite dated. Also, the single bed seems to be designed for a small child. It had a plastic mattress protector which my son found un-comfortable and made him very sweaty at night.

Perfect spot in the highlands

Great location, easy travel to local attractions and the town centre. Great cottage with all the facilities we needed, and the owners were always helpful with anything we needed or tips about the local area.

There were no issues at all.
