The room was nice and big, we had an onsen, which was really nice
The hotel is very old, which is noticeable when walking around in the hotel. the pictures don’t look like reality, they use a weird filter for all the pictures, or increased the brightness by a lot.
The shared pool and spa area feels worn out and needs a renovation. It looked like there is a lot of mold ob the ceilings.
Go there by car if you can, because eating in the only restaurant available inside of the hotel is ridiculously expensive.
Value for money overall is not good to me and I would visit this hotel again.

clean, tidy, cosy, comfortable
the sports centre next to the Marriot hotel (but it’s the facilities under Marriot) does not have air-conditioner
4.2
A wonderful hotel in a great location. Excellent staff.
The breakfast menu is exceptionally good with a huge range of choices. By comparison, the dinner menu is very limited and quite expensive.
4.2
The paid breakfast was great!
There was quite a few insects in the room's onsen area. And few was actually floating (dead) inside the onsen.
4.2
Clean, beautiful peaceful modern facilities
Location - too far and long travel
4.2
Private room onsen is nice.
Free shuttle bus from Shuzenji station.
Sakura trees in hotel’s area is fascinating
Nothing understand of 5-star hotel
No air con just heater provided
need to open window for cooler air
4.2
Nice resort. Nice rooms. Friendly staff. Shuttle bus to take you between properties and down to the local train. Lots of trees and other recreational options in better weather.
Rooms need attention, a lot was worn down or falling apart. Minor fixes that could be done in a couple of days.. Only one restaurant and way over priced. No other options besides a couple of breads and a ton of beer. Spa was very limited. Indoor hot tub only. Other resort has a nice outdoor onsen. Check in was a mess. Booking was prepaid and they initially wanted to charge us again. Reserved 2 rooms for 2 persons each, initially only had reservation for 1 room for 2 persons.

Bathroom and toilet area is comfortable. Love to wear Yukata. Mt.Fuji can be seen from the hotel lobby and there is sakura garden next to the hotel parking lot which can sit and watch Mt. FUJI. Hotel Staffs are helpful.
The room is quite large and there is coffee table and chairs but it was a bit cold night without heater so we better go to warm and cozy bed instead.

Fabulous view of Mt Fuji. Both an onsen and a swimming pool. Superb breakfast but rather expensive.
Nothing.

It is an old building but has been renovated and decently maintained. The meals were quite expensive but delicious.
We can’t think of anything that we disliked.

Private hot spring
Facilities not commensurate with the price

Nice facilities.
Most expensive (even for Japan) room service menu I have ever seen! 5 Luke warm chicken wings with some wilted lettuce 16 USD. Roast beef dinner set 58 USD. Burger 28 USD!!
4.2
Onsen in the room was great. Bathroom/shower very nice. Beds comfortable. Room was BIG for Japan. Excellent location if you have a car to drive the peninsula.
Food is expensive at the hotel (45$ for breakfast). Much cheaper eats within a short drive.

Location was perfect for a retreat. Onsen in room was very nice. Unfortunately sound from other rooms was a bit disturbing during the day (children’s noises and general room noises). But peaceful at night. Restaurant was nice with good variety. Good safety precautions in place.

we got our room requested. A beautiful view of Mt. Fuji in our room. Thank you very much!

The view of Mt Fuji was spectacular from the balocony on the floor overlooking the front entrance. The onsen spa bath on the balcony was truly awesome.
The value for meals seems to be overpriced, so we went out for dinner. The area is a bit far if you do not have access to a vehicle, although there is a shuttle.
