Painted surfaces grubby property in need of a splash of paint or deep clean especially carpets.
Bedroom and bathroom looked clean did not use. After our event decided not to stay overnight to avoid traffic.
3.4
Comfortable bed, nice sized room, parking available and self catering facilities,
TV was very small that's all I can think of
3.4
It was cheap as a last minute find but for good reason.
we were in room 10 and it has a sloping roof which the bed, TV and kettle are all underneath so you are hunched over most places in the room, not good for those with a bad back. The TV had barely any signal and neither did the WiFi. I would not book this hotel if you needed to work from it or make video calls. The showers extractor fan had been removed leaving a gaping hole in the ceiling.

It was very clean and comfortable. The only problem was the skylight window, it didn't open so there was no ventilation. It got quite hot and there was only a very small fan in the room, which wasn't sufficient.
To many stairs for people with any disabilities and too little ventilation

the location

shower was too small and very old needs replacing,
outside the room before I walked in you could tell there was a major water leak and seeping into the room the mattress was close to broken felt very springy needs replacing and the tv was very small

Location was good for where I needed to be the next morning.
The room was very dated and the carpets were filthy. Not happy at all. After I complained they offered me another room which was better but still not near a 4 star as advertised.

A selection of items for breakfast would have been nice.

Malvern House was easy to get to by road and had a large area to park my car.
The single room was clean. The bed was comfortable and there was a wonderful big window that opened.
That's where the good ended.
A McDonald's is located nearby thankfully.
The door bell wasn't working upon arrival and I had to stand around to wait for someone to open the door, which being a woman travelling alone, was a little unnerving, in an area I was unfamiliar with, that I couldn't get in or that someone wasn't waiting for my arrival despite giving them an estimated time of arrival.
Eventually the door opened and the person who welcomed me in didn't even know what room I'd booked (I had to show Booking.com confirmation).
Once in my room there were no towels available (the man did knock my door and give me some 45mins after arrival) and although there was a small kettle on a table and several small cartons of milk; there was 1 tea bag but no coffee or sugar sachets provided.
It should also be noted that a large person would struggle to manoeuvre in the VERY tiny thin bathroom with the toilet and sink VERY close together.
It was advertised as having a continental breakfast of toast and cereal being available BUT there was just a large box of cornflakes put in front of three empty cereal cannisters.
The TV/Dining room which is where breakfast was laid out had an awful smell about it. Like something was off or damp.
The bowls and cutlery were not very clean and despite a table top fridge being present, it had a large bottle of opened whole milk and a large carton of opened soya milk which was not very hygienic looking.
There was no bread, butter, or jam/marmalade available so even if I had wanted toast I couldn't have had any.
Finally, there was no one about in the morning so, to check out, you just had to leave the keys on the side by the front door.

close to our place of work
parking
this is not a four star property as advertised
it was ok for the couple of nights we was there,
noisy at night due to people outside,
a little dated which is a pity as could be a nice place
3.4
clean room and clean fresh towels
Twice I sent messages asking for information on check in,no response.
On arrival no hello or welcome just £65 payment .No Continental breakfast,no Wi-Fi and room fan did not work ,we had to try and sleep with all windows open.Front area had empty drinks bottles on Saturday afternoon and were still there on leaving on Sunday not very appetising on arrival.
The only good thing was clean bedroom and clean fresh towels.
So called Continental breakfast attached.

Located in a nice residential area.
No breakfast. However there was a Greggs a short walk away.

Ocean who met us and booked us in was really nice and helpful.
Breakfast was supposed to be included in this stay and there was nothing provided and no reason given. Extremely annoying.

Close to M40. Large rooms with tea/coffee facilities, TV (with freeview) and trouser press. Good size ensuite with plenty of towels. Has a dining room/ kitchenette with microwave for use. Lots of eating locations close by. Good value for money
Carpet needed a good clean and hoovering.
3.4
Location was good with off road parking.
On arrival we had a long wait to get anyone's attention. We then were told there was no breakfast available as advertised. The rooms were adequate but not exceptionally clean. No tea/ coffee facilities in the room and after asking for a top up returning to the house later that evening still no milk cups or mugs. Overall very disappointing stay, won't use again.
3.4
guy on desk friendly
unfortunately
the smell upon entering
carpets looked dirty
so off putting
unsure about ‘dining area’
noise throughout night from traffic on main road
3.4
nice location, there was parking
mould on the broken curtains, no privacy on the ground floor, lack of staff to refill loo roll/coffee facilities for our weeks stay.
