Le bâtiment est très ancien, il a donc le charme de l’ancien. C’est pour cela qu’on y vient .Pour certains la décoration peut sembler désuète.

Charming place and we got an excellent room under the roof. If the breakfast had been better the rating woulf have been 9. The breakfast offered standard stuff without real quality.

Perfect location and nice atmospheric.
The apparent and especially the bathroom required maintenance. One example was that the shower itself was hanging loos and one big part of the showers was missing.

Nice environment ! Clean room, comfortable beds … in short can recommended!
The breakfast room was very congested … however good food. Missed the bacon and omelette !

The location is perfect and the old building really fascinating
The sauna is declared in the description but actually doesn’t exist and the worker have no idea about it

The breakfast was god and we slept well. A very nice old house and friendly hosts. Very nice location in the center of the Ystad town. We enjoyed an evening walk downtown and a nice restaurant for our dinner. A nice outdoor garden that we did not have time to enjoy but would have if we had stayed two nights.
Nothing we did not like. Of cause it was an old house and narrow stairways - not for handicap people but ok for us.

A very stylish Hotel, you can feel the history, rooms with individual furniture...
Ideal for people who want to experience something outside the mainstream...

Genuine old fashioned house, absolutely no chain here.

The hotel is cosy and has a lovely little garden where a good breakfast is served. The location for us was perfect.
The rooms were cleaned late in the afternoon, when our son was about having his nap, so the room didn't get cleaned. The double room was small. Only public parking was available.

Great location. Quiet area. Good selection at breakfast. Lovely courtyard to relax and enjoy breakfast weather permitting.
Shower rod was rigged so you can only use it as a hand held shower. Obviously to prevent guests from wasting water.

A cozy room with good beds. Beautiful garden and a perfect breakfast in lovely old settings.

Trully original and historic place. Do not expect modern furniture, HI-tec technologies and gadget. I really fell in love with the place for its unique atmosfere. Room spacious, bed very comfortable, bathroom outdated but funcional. In fact there was nothing to complain about.
Would improve the breakfast....and its serving. Plastic trays do no suit to such wonderful place. May be offering more fruit and also scrambled eggs. BUt this is just suggestions, no complains.

Great location in the centre of town

Central location in quaint old building. Breakfast OK. Not very accessible if you have a disability but there is not much you can do about that considering the age of the building.

Nice hotel in a perfect location in the middle of Ystad. The hotel manager was very kind and professional. We liked the breakfast, especially outside in the courtyard.
The breakfast is excellent but not too suited for vegetarians. Breakfast times were short and the breakfast room was pretty crowded.

Nice host, adorable quirky building with lots of history. Got upgraded through the genius programme :) beautiful room with large bathroom and a fridge.
Nice breakfast with a good selection.
Good location in town, walking distance to several sights and grocery store.
I had asked for a kettle, and it was in my room on arrival.
I'll come back here.

It’s better than in the pictures!! The rooms are beautiful and the place is really charming. We were very impressed.
It’s a pity there’s a local bar just above the room and we couldn’t sleep until late because of the noise, despite the wonderful and very quiet surroundings.
Also there’s a metal staircase that was very dangerous for children. Watch your kids. We had an incident and realized there’s no rail, it could have been a lot worse.

Lovely, charming property.

Exceptionally ambitious room locks and keys. Friendly and helpful staff, charming place, room was nice, tidy and clean. Facilities worked as expected. Breakfast initially looked limited but offered a full range of serials, breads, cheese, ham and sausages, as well as boiled eggs, bacon, and mini pancakes, nicely prepared.
There was no air conditioning in the room, which was not a disappointment, as I don't think it was advertised, but would certainly have been apprecated as the outdoor temperature was around 27°C during our stay. On the plus size, it was possible to get a nice breeze through by opening the bathroom and main room windows.

The room was really good, considering the age of the house. The breakfast and location were excellent, and the owner was helpful and friendly.

Well maintained charming old building, nice breakfast.
