Although other accommodation types were available I had a basic en-suite room for 2 weeks. It was out of season and I was often the only overnight guest. This was never a problem. Access to my room did not require reception services. Also its role as a Venta meant food and drink were available 7am-late evening. This is precisely the type of accommodation solo travellers exploring the area need. No fuss no frills.
My inability to speak Spanish - I'm working on it.

Excellent location, beautiful scenery, quiet, friendly owners, clean...
Could not make friends with Canéla, the charming back-yard lamb...

It was a nice room with two beds, nice bathroom and kitchenette equipped with everything you need. Restaurant in the same building a big plus considering the location of this place quite far from any city. For me it was great.
My room was clearly a smoker room but it was my fault not checking before buying.

The view you have arround
The food was so bad!
Also the guy just closed the restaurant while we were still sitting at a table outside without saying a word.

friendly staff and good value staff. Nice swimming pool
the room we stayed in previously had a small kitchen, this one did not. The toilet seat was a 'willy wacker' and would not stand up whilst in use.

Good location for sightseeing in the countryside - close to Ronda, Setenil de las Bodegas, Sierra de Grazalema. Affordable price, bar and restaurant just downstairs - very convenient

Nice garden to sit in - and fine with a restaurant/bar.
I missed possibilities to make tea/coffee

I think it's a very nice place and it would be even better during summer (went in winter). Clean and big room. Parking is free. It's in the nature. Good tip of the staff to go to Grazalema (go to bar Zulema)
It should be slightly cheaper. WiFi was not good

The location was convinient for me and I liked that there was bar downstairs. The accomodation was overall ok.
Really cold room, even the air-con/heater didn't help.

Nice place.
Price for one weekend day was irrationaly big 105€.
No hair daryer. WC doors had a broken lock, so no privacy. As a whole Spain has ant issues so this place is no exception. Watter from tap not the best quality you can taste chlor.

In an ideal location to be able to venture off and do birdwatching, trekking etc. A friendly environment and staff couldn’t be more helpful. I particularly liked that it is rural accommodation, so simple, clean and comfortable-loved it!

Very nice place!! The rooms have little kitchen with coffee machine and all the basics for cooking. Hotel has a very nice swimming pool with cute and very calm green are around, very recommended!!
Just bare in mind that you need a car to move in the area, the hotel is far from public transport areas.

Excellent location, our studio was quite, away from road noise, enjoyed the pool area, ostrich next door with sheep and chickens gave it a lovely feel, very clean rooms, coffee was excellent and our lunch gazpacho and calamares are very good. Staff service very good, friendly and fast , the restaurant is very clean. We were allowed to leave bags in the room while birdwatching , which is very helpful and meant we could change our clothing afterwards. We are grateful for the excellent service and will be back !
Breakfast was bread with oil and tomato, my husband had just bread and butter as he doesnt eat oil in the morning. Could have done with some cheese or jam ... wifi was very very weak.
