The cottage was perfect for our dog friendly stay, the enclosed garden was tidy with a lovely patio, tables, chairs and brand new BBQ. The accommodation was clean and everything was brand new from pots and pans to linen and towels. The Cottage is very cosy and the gas fire in the lounge (looks like a coal fire) was great to pop on after some great walks with the dog in Bembridge and surrounding coastal areas. The Owners Sally and Anthony kindly met us on arrival and gave us a guided tour of the property, they also pointed out some wonderful walks all of which were possible from the house, this meant no need for four wheels. Also local advice about lure fishing off the rocks past the Bembridge Lifeboat station at low tide, right behind the large hotel i managed a nice plump Bass!!!!!!!!!!!
We loved our stay here and will be back as it was our first time on the isle of wight, I think we struck gold and even though we fully explored the whole island we fell in love with Bembridge, from the lovely seafood at both the floating seafood cafe restaurant (no dogs inside but allowed on the deck) in the harbour, and the Baywatch Cafe which was dog friendly inside and out. I highly recommend the Crab Thermidor.
