Sweet apartment in Évora

We loved the location. It was very comfortable, though sitting room was small. It was perfect for an overnight, and 2 nights would have been even nicer.

There is a step into the master bedroom that caught us by surprise more than once.

Great location and apartment size.

Easy smooth check-in and great location, central to sightseeing. Apartment is large and rooms were large too. The owner recommended parking options nearby.

There is a little bit of old building smell.

Excellent four nights here- can’t complain about anything and most importantly parents loved it

Nice property, good location but strange layout and no outside space

The location was fabulous - easy parking just outside the historic walls

Strange layout with the second bedroom in an area with a communal entrance and staircase. ok for my 28 year old son but I wouldn’t want young kids using that room.

Very good

Very spacious, excellent location, and a great base for our family. Everything is an easy walk away, and there was ample public parking nearby. There was initial confusion over the space since it is larger than seen in the photos, but Celeste was very quick in responding and answered our questions. We would stay here again.

The house is just as shown on line and is spacious and comfortable. The location is easy to find and very convenient to the historical area.

Excellent

We felt very at home and relaxed in Celeste’s lovely apartment. It was spacious clean and attractive. The kitchen was large and well supplied with cooking and dining equipment. The recently renovated old style building even incorporated a Roman arch in the lounge room wall. I loved to hear the church bells last thing at night and again when I awoke in the morning. We could walk everywhere in the old town very easily and return for short breaks. Celeste was a very nice host and communicating with her was easy and she was quick to reply.

Great place to stay and enjoy what Evora has to offer.

Fabulous location! Close to sights and restaurants. We were able to park outside our house by buying parking tickets for a few euro.

I had a cold shower as I didn’t realise you needed to turn on the hot water in the second shower and wait for it to warm up before showering.

Central location close to everything that gives a real feel of the area.

Spacious, beautiful, host was very good to us.

Church bells ringing throughout the night hourly and on half hour.

Accommodating hosts--great for independent travelers

Convenient location. This two-bedroom apartment was larger than expected. Comfortable for two friends traveling together. The hosts were available almost immediately if needed but were also content to stay in the background if we wanted privacy. Highly recommended.

Wonderful Stay

The self check-in procedure is user friendly and smoothly. The room is so big and comfortable. I especially love the art pieces in the apartment, the owner is surely having a good taste. The location of the apartment is definitely excellent . We can go to everything famous attractions on foot within 2 to 10 mins. There are lots of good restaurants nearby. I enjoyed my stay very much. The host is so friendly and responsive and she even allowed us to park the car outside her garage for few hours so that we don’t have to pay the parking fee.

Home away from home

This property was an absolute delight from arrival to departure. We loved it. The beds were very comfortable, there was room to spread out and they even catered for families traveling with children with a cot and high chair. The kitchen was one of the best equipped though it did not have a large oven - just a small bench top one. And location wise it was in the old city and an easy walk from parking outside the wall. And the owner Celeste was extremely helpful and very pleasant

I'd book this apartment again.

The place was comfortable on a charming street. The location was excellent. Easy to get into the apartment and everything went smoothly.

Very central location, nice and spacious apartment

- Central location, very close to several of the main sites - Spacious living space

- Not a deal breaker, but the electricity did cut out twice - an applicance caused a power trip. It was rather quickly resolved, but for a while it was a little inconvenient.

just what we needed, perfect for one no light, was a shame the plumber neede to visit

Mould is an issue

The present owners have only owned this accomodation since last February and they are not as experienced as they could be. we were given a passcode to enter and met by the host, Celeste, who welcomed us and told us where restaurants were. Unfortunately she did not tell us how to use the appliances which do take some figuring out. We kept blowing the fuses as you could not use the kettle and the stove at the same time. The kitchen is very dark so difficult to see especially when the power goes out. However, our biggest concern was the MOULD on the walls in the bedrooms and bathrooms. We feel this is a toxic health concern and needs to be address immediately as it is really not safe.

Superb

Appt was clean and tidy and very close to the attractions in evora. Host was also very responsive.

Not the fault of the appt, but the clock from the church next door rings every hour even at night so we were woken up multiple times.

Great location and very comfortable apartment. We had a car and we were able to park it in the street nearby. Would recommend staying here and would come back. Lots of great places to eat nearby and an easy walk to all the sites.

We would not hesitate recommending this property to anyone especially good for families.

Convent’s House was very convenient to all Evora’s main attractions. Lovely furnishings as well. Host Celeste was very responsive as well.

We liked everything about this apartment.- the only tricky thing was trying to find the apartment as our GPS didn’t recognize the street location so we had to drive around for a while until some residents aided us. Perhaps get exact detailed directions to find the house. Free parking was conveniently near by.
